- What is that? Charleston County! Charleston County is in what state? SC. Which is part of…. The USA. You just did a simple geography assignment. Knowing where we are on the earth is important. It allows us to know where to go to get to the things we want next! I make maps for a living. Well kinda.
- Cool maps: A Theme park map is still a map, so you know where the rides are. Then: An evacuation map in case you need to get out! Someone has to the be the person to make these!
- I went to school for 18 years total! I went to college to learn about maps. I have a love for the Earth AND science so I have a degree in making maps. Then I stayed after that to get another degree! It pays off. Education takes a while but it’s taken me to where I want. My dad would get mad at me when I was a kid for bad grades because he knew education matters.
- I took a job I would have never dreamed of taking. In Afghanistan. That’s 7700 miles away! That’s like taking over 300 trips to the beach!
- I went to places that needed mapped, put it altogether and a map was unwrapped.
- Maps is my career, so you know what is near. We deliver data to people to protect our cities, our beaches, the animals and us from dangers. Using lasers than go through the air and the water to the bottom of the ocean and then come back up to the plane, we
