2.Product development: PRODUCT-ORIENTED COMPANIES and MARKET-ORIENTED COMPANIES. Product-oriented companies invest a lot of money and time in finding new or improved goods to sell them on the market.  Market-oriented companies want to find out what is needed and then they try to develop new ways of production or new goods. 3. Promotion- Promotion is very important because however good a product is, it will not find any buyers, if no one knows about it. If you want to sell a specialized product, all you have to do is to write to people or companies, which are known to be interested or place an advertisement in a trade magazine.

They raise the standard of living of people by drawing attention to new products and ideas.
Advertisements can be found in magazines, radio programs, in the newspaper, in the streets, or in kiosks.,[object Object]
They make us believe that our dreams will come true if we use their products.
They imply that money can make our dreams come true.But this is obviously not so. We cannot buy personal good looks, intelligence, good friendships or a happy family. A lot of advertisements are, therefore, a way of lying. They can also make people feel depressed with their ordinary lives, especially those people who have only a small amount of money to spend on luxuries.
