Maya Angelou was an amercian
writer and poet. She published
several books of poetry, essays,
autobiographies and plays. She
was a respected spokesperson
for black women. Maya Angelou
recited the poem On the Pulse of
Morning in 1993 at President
Clinton’s inauguration.
