Since and For
 We often use SINCE and FOR in sentences when we’re
talking about TIME.
 SINCE can be used about time in present perfect
sentences.
 FOR can be used about time with all tenses.
Since
 We use SINCE when we are talking about a specific
time; an action that began at specific time, or an action
that ended at a specific time, or at specific point in
time.
 Examples
‘I haved lived in Benguela since October 2010’.
‘She has been abroad since last Tuesday’.
For
 We use FOR when we are talking about a period of
time or a duration of time; an action that has been
happening for a length of time.
 Examples
‘I haved lived in Benguela for fiver years’.
‘She has been abroad for a week’.
