2. In continuation of the ‘Earn Your Bread’ project taken up during the Joy of Giving week last year i.e 2009, we planned to have a sale of spices made by the women self group of Dorkosai Village at our school premises during the joy of giving week this year.
3. Last year during this time our school teacher and few of our friends had visited village Dorkosai near Jamshedpur. They had given a demonstration to the women self help group on a few spices and snacks ( south Indian Muruku .) These women had picked it up so well that they had started selling it through one of our schools canteen.
4. In order to help them further we decided to sell their products during Joy of Giving week at our school. We contacted the village representative MrViplav and asked him to put up a sale of Masalas and Murukus on 30th Sept, 10 at our school. He gladly agreed.

8. Impact of the programme The sale was good. The demand was so much that we had to organise it for one more day. The joy was in helping the villagers. The students are going to cherish it in their memories through out their lives.
