This document provides examples of TV drama extracts that could be used in an exam question analyzing how representations are constructed. It includes 14 extracts from various British TV shows from the BBC and other networks. For each extract, students would be asked to discuss how representations of attributes like age, class, gender, ethnicity or disability are constructed through techniques like camera shots, editing, sound, and mise-en-scène. The goal is to prepare students for exam questions requiring them to analyze representations in TV drama clips using formal technical film terms.
