9. Finding books from your reading list

Reading Lists Online
• You can find books on your reading lists by logging into Moodle, going to your
module, and clicking on “Reading Lists” at the top of the right-hand column.
• Click on the title of the book you want to look at – you’ll then see where it is
in the library.
• Write down the shelf mark so you
can find the book in the library.
• Click ‘view in catalogue’ to
reserve books.

CityLibrarySearch will search across our books,
articles and reports for you.
Click ‘Books/ebooks’ on the left to narrow your
results just to books.

Use for articles, market research, company, industry and country profiles, case
studies, trade magazines, peer reviewed research, Harvard Business Review, images.
ProQuest
New database: peer-reviewed articles, newspapers, data, reports, trade journals...
All sorts of stuff, not just business-specific. Wide-ranging and useful.
Financial Times – FT.com
Everyone can have a subscription to the excellent FT.com website, phone and tablet
apps. The sign-up link is on the Library Services Moodle page – use your city.ac.uk
email to sign up.
