Cindy: Good morning, everyone. Welcome to Sentence of the Week no. 2. I’m English teacher, Miss Cindy.

Lala and Leo: Good morning, everyone!
Cindy: Good morning! Today we have three sentences: 今天我們有 3 個生活用語的句子要來學習喔:
Are you sure? 你確定嗎? Yes, I am. 是的,我確定。 No, I am not sure. 不,我不確定。
Cindy: Hi, Lala and Leo. Do you remember last week, we learned four sentences?
Lala and Leo: Hello! Good morning, Ms. Cindy. Yes, we do. The sentences are ~~~ “Are you done? Are you
finished? Yes, I am. No, I am not”
Cindy: Wow, excellent. Great job! I am so impressed you still remember how to say these sentences.
Leo: Yes, we are smart! And I have done my math homework. It is too ~~~ easy for me!!
Cindy: Are you sure?
Leo: Yes, I am!
Cindy: How about you? Lala, what are you doing?
Lala: I am still doing my English homework. It is too ~~~ difficult for me.
Cindy: Are you sure?
Lala: Yes, I am. I need to learn how to listen, speak, read and write in English.
Cindy: Great for you!
Lala: Teacher Cindy, you said we are going to play basketball today. Are you sure?
Cindy: Yes, I am! Are you ready?
Lala and Leo: Yes, WE ARE!!
Leo: Can we have some Coke after class?
Cindy: Yes, you can.
Lala and Leo: ARE YOU SURE?
Cindy: Yes, I am sure, but ….
Lala and Leo: But what?
Cindy: First of all, you need to finish your Chinese and Science homework.
Lala and Leo: Oh, no ~~~. Are you sure?
Cindy: Yes, I am.
Lala and Leo: If we finish all of the homework, could we have some Coke and cookies? Please~~~
Cindy: No, I am not sure. Coke and cookies are not good for your health. Sorry ….
Lala and Leo: Okay …. Thank you, teacher Cindy!
Cindy: 小朋友,剛剛我們一起聆聽了一段有趣的校園英語對話呢!
Let’s review the sentences together. 我們來複習一下吧!
Cindy: Hi, Lala and Leo. Do you remember last week, we learned four sentences? 嗨,Lala!嗨,Leo!你還記
得上個星期,我們學的四句校園英文對話句子嗎?
Lala and Leo: Good morning, Ms. Cindy. Yes, we do. The sentences are ~~~ “Are you done? Are you finished?
Yes, I am. No, I am not.” Cindy 老師早安,是,我們還記得喔,這四個句子是:「你完成了嗎?是的,我
完成了;不,我還沒有完成。」
Cindy: Wow, excellent. Great job! I am so impressed you still remember how to say these sentences. 哇,真
棒,你們還記得如何說出這些英文句子,真讓老師印象深刻!
Leo: Yes, we are smart! And I have done my math homework. It is too~~~ easy for me!! 是的,我們很聰明
的!而且啊,我已經完成了我的數學回家作業了呢!這對我來說太~~~簡單了。
Cindy: Are you sure? 你確定嗎?
Leo: Yes, I am! 是的,我很確定!
Cindy: How about you? Lala, what are you doing? Lala,那妳呢?妳正在做什麼呢?
Lala: I am still doing my English homework. It is too~~~ difficult for me. 我正在寫我的英文回家作業,好難
哪!
Cindy: Are you sure? 妳確定嗎?
Lala: Yes, I am. I need to learn how to listen, speak, read and write in English. 是的,我必需學習如何用英文
來聽、說、讀,和寫呢!
Cindy: Great for you! 妳真棒!
Lala: Teacher Cindy, you said we are going to play basketball today. Are you sure? Cindy 老師,妳之前說過,
我們今天要去打籃球,妳確定嗎?
Cindy: Yes, I am! Are you ready? 是阿,我很確定喔!那你們準備好了嗎?
Lala and Leo: Yes, WE ARE!! 是的,我們準備好了!
Leo: Can we have some Coke after class? 我們可以在下課之後,喝個可樂嗎?
Cindy: Yes, you can. 是的,你們可以。
Lala and Leo: ARE YOU SURE? 妳~確~定嗎?
Cindy: Yes, I am sure, but …. 是,我確定,但是 … …。
Lala and Leo: But what? 但是,怎麼了?
Cindy: First of all, you need to finish your Chinese and Science homework. 首先,你們必需先完成你們的國
語和自然作業。
Lala and Leo: Oh, no~~~ Are you sure? 歐不~~~。妳確定嗎?
Cindy: Yes, I am. 是,我確定。
Lala and Leo: If we finish all of the homework, could we have some Coke and cookies? Please~~~ 如果我們完
成所有的回家作業,我們可以喝一點可樂和吃一點小餅乾嗎?拜託~。
Cindy: No, I am not sure. Coke and cookies are not good for your health. Sorry …. 不,我不確定喔,因為可樂
和餅乾都對你們的身體健康不太好呢,抱歉囉。
Lala and Leo: Okay …. Thank you. 好吧,謝謝老師!
Cindy: Excellent! Let’s practice saying the sentences again. 請全校小朋友,再開口跟著說一遍吧!
Lala and Leo: Are you sure? 你確定嗎? Yes, I am. 是的,我確定。 No, I am not sure. 不,我不確定。

Do you remember last week, we learned four sentences? Lala and Leo: Hello! Good morning, Ms. Cindy. Yes, we do. The sentences are ~~~ “Are you done? Are you finished? Yes, I am. No, I am not” Cindy: Wow, excellent. Great job! I am so impressed you still remember how to say these sentences. Leo: Yes, we are smart! And I have done my math homework. It is too ~~~ easy for me!! Cindy: Are you sure? Leo: Yes, I am! Cindy: How about you? Lala, what are you doing? Lala: I am still doing my English homework. It is too ~~~ difficult for me. Cindy: Are you sure? Lala: Yes, I am. I need to learn how to listen, speak, read and write in English. Cindy: Great for you! Lala: Teacher Cindy, you said we are going to play basketball today. Are you sure? Cindy: Yes, I am!
