3. The node design was based on the concept of telling a story, with that story being Pomona's History. For
that reason, the five nodes where placed in a series, going through history, from the past to the present,
and looking into the future.

The form of the node intallation was taken from a film reel, and manipulated to
create intruige in the structure by wrapping around the existing path to give an
invitaion to enter.

Pomona, the most appropriate site

used to reflect the
cinema aspect, and also
create a range of semi
enclosed spaces which
can be used for a range
of activities and utilised
by the yoga complex.
Concrete seating, set
at different heights will
be placed throughout
the design. The varying
height give a playful
feel, and advantages
for activities such as
markets.
