Las Colinas I
The look of the buildings could be dramatically changed with the use of sustainable design. The amount of light penetrating the building on the West and South facades could be reduced with the use of an Architectural Mesh. This could also add some character and shape that will be visible from the highway. Energy and Performance can be optimized with the shading provided by the shading devises. The daytime glare will be reduced and the amount of a/c used to cool the space will be significantly lessened. As an alternative or in addition to, the exterior façade on the plaza side may be updated with the use of Horizontal Sun Louvers.
