2. Crohns disease is a condition that affects your
lower intestines or colon. The disease causes
parts of your colon to become inflamed and
irritated.
3. About 1.4 million people in America have IBD,
and about 150,000 of them are people under
17.That means there are 150,000 kids like
you- enough to fill three base ball stadiums-
who are dealing with IBD.
4. :Work with your family and docters to find the
right treatment ,diet and exercise plan.
:Eat foods rich in protein, vitamins, and
minerals. That means your vegetables!
:Don’t be afraid to speak to your teacher if
you are not feeling well or if you think your
symptoms are interfering with your school
work.
5. Remember-if kids are mean or say things that
are untrue about you and your disease-its
because they don’t understand.
