Templates for Workshop 3 (Translating an Intradisciplinal Performance Task into Multi- and Inter- disciplinal Performance Tasks
MULTIdisciplinal Performance Task
About 15% of the world’s population is made up of people with a form of disability (physical or mental) according to a World Health
Organization (WHO) report. People with disabilities are present in all societies. Many are hidden or excluded from society, either in their homes or in
institutions because of Social Stigma such as discrimination, bullies, inequalities, disrespect, etc. that may cause them distress and anxiety. In fact, the
evaluation report highlights specific challenges such as Lack of awareness of positive and realistic images of differently abled individuals in all sectors
and strata of society and failure to make innovative technologies and approaches in awareness-raising campaigns and in disseminating good practices
with these individuals.
Now, being an advocate together with the National Council on Disability Affairs Team, you are task to make an informative video that contains a short
video clip featuring differently abled individuals showing their unique talent and capabilities as differently abled individuals and discussions about
disability etiquette that people should know in order to raise awareness throughout society, including at the family level, regarding differently abled
individuals, and to foster for the rights and dignity of this individuals and to promote positive perceptions and greater social awareness towards them
to the people most especially your local residents supported by and the study of ideas from different perspectives (UCSP, Personal Development,
Introduction to the Philosophy)
UCSP – Analyze the inequalities of the society (local, national and global)
PERDEV – Examine the ideas of how people impact each other in society, the roles of leaders and follower in groups and how these concepts
relate to the media audiences & producers.
Introduction to Philosophy – How society reacts to those form from the underprivileged sectors of society especially the differently abled
individuals.
The output will be rated based on: (1) analytical critical application of the lens of UCSP, Personal Development, Introduction to the Philosophy, (2)
sources’ selection and citation(communication), (3) use of symbols, technicalities delivered (communication and technology) and (4) use different
effective design elements and principles producing the informative video output (creative thinking)

the INTRAdisciplinal Performance Task
To create informative multimedia output that helps stir awareness and promote solutions to social issues
affecting a part of the population.
Performance scenario maintains the
inclusion of the 4 exits of the K to12
Program but MUST be analyzed and
solved in 3 or more lenses (i.e., using the
theories, concepts, and methods of each
discipline)
Now, being one of the member of the Department of Health and a director of the National Council on
Disability Affairs, you are task to make an informative video that contains a short video clip featuring
