Anatomy of the Digestive System.
Consist of digestive tract, a tube extending from the mouth
to the anus, and its accessory organs-primary glands
located outside the digestive tract, which secret fluid into
the digestive tract. The digestive tract is also called the
alimentary tract or alimentary canal. The term
Gastrointestinal; GI tract technically refers only to the
stomach and intestines but is often used as a synonym for
the digestive tract.

3. Colonoscopy
An endoscopic procedure, done by inserting a flexible
fiberscope called a colonoscopy, through the anus,
rectum, and colon; used to examine the upper portion
of the colon, for polypus, and small growths that can
be removed during the procedure. This procedure
done while the patient is under light anesthesia can
detect early signs of colorectal cancer.

4. Hematochezia
Is the passing of bright red blood in the in the stools,
which could be a warning sign for colon
cancer,diverticulitis,or some other serious problems.

5. Serum Bilirubin
A blood test to determine the amount of waist product
bilirubin in the bloodstream. Elevated levels indicate
liver disease.

6. Hernioplasty
Hernia’s are usually chatartized by a weak spot in the
abdominal wall. Surgical repair of a hernia is called
hernioplasy.
