2. Pitch
The magazine that I am producing is called ‘crème de la pop’. This was
inspired by the phrase cream of the crop which is what ‘crème de la means’ ‘cream of
the.’ The French way of saying it gives the magazine a more sophisticated feel about it
and will attract a wider ranged audience. My target audience are young males and
females, this has proven fairly difficult as finding the correct colour scheme to please
both genders is tricky. The music that will be covered in this magazine will be pop
music as this is what I listen to most and so feel I know most about. This will be
covered by articles written in a question answer form as in the interview to take place
before hand. We will also have a review on the first single. The magazine will be fun
but sophisticated to suit my audience, nothing will be deadly serious. Finally the
double page spread article will be on rising star Laura Fraye and her journey to where
she is from where she used to be.
