Protecting workers and equipment from gas hazards is a major concern
for companies. One method of doing this is by installing and maintaining
a fixed-point gas detection system. A fixed-point gas detection system
consists of sensors (typically electrochemical, infrared, or catalytic
bead) that respond to specific gases. These sensors are placed
throughout the facility. The gas readings from the sensors are
transmitted from all over the facility, back to a single or multiple
monitoring station.
These signals can consist of anything from analog 4-20 mAsignals, high
speed digital signals, or even a wireless data transmission. There are
even a few products on the market today that offer both analog and
digital interfaces as well as seamless integration with wireless telemetry
products. Once the signal is received, the controller processes the gas
readings and responds to any alarm condition that might be present by
turning on strobe lights, sirens, actuating a valve, or starting/stopping a
process. This is a complex system of highly integrated components, with
a gas detector being the crucial component.

2. H2S SafetyAwareness training
H2S, or Hydrogen Sulphide, constitutes a serious danger to human
lives. Working in an environment exposed to the risk of the
poisonous gas H2S, requires constant awareness. Our H2S course
is especially designed to provide participants with key competencies
in identifying and managing H2S hazards in the workplace.
Through a combination of classroom theory and practical
exercises, our participants will gain the necessary knowledge in
order to behave correctly in a H2S environment.
Our training instructors are highly skilled professionals with 'real
world' experience and our courses consist of both classroom
theory and practical exercises.
Confined Space Training
When entering confined spaces you might enter a hazardous
environment and the necessary precautions must be taken.
Before entering confined spaces you need training in how to
protect yourselves and others.
Through a combination of classroom theory and practical
exercises, our participants will gain the necessary knowledge in
order to behave correctly when entering a confined space. At our
Confined Space Course you will be introduced to the essential
facts of the dangers to be considered when entering a confined
space, as well as learn the life saving measures to be taken.
Authorized Gas Tester Training
Gas Tester is mandatory when working in area within gas
potential. In AGT training program is to ensure that personnel
preparing for a gas tester role are equipped with the knowledge to
conduct gas tests for oxygen levels, flammable and toxic gases
safely. Their gas testing skills must be assessed either in the
workplace or at an approved training centre against the
competence units specified.
This training program also equips the delegate with knowledge to
conduct gas testing within confined spaces and awareness of
associated confined space hazards. Delegates will also learn
about relevant legislative requirements, gas measuring and
monitoring equipment and documenting gas test results.

PosiChek SCBA test has been the industry standard for thousands of
fire departments, refineries, chemical plants and nuclear power stations
worldwide since it was first introduced in 1988. A number of upgrades
have been incorporated to keep pace with increasingly rigorous testing
criteria. Firefighters and other first responders can only work as well as
the equipment they use. That is why NFPA 1852 mandates that all
compliant SCBA be tested on a calibrated breathing machine before
being put into service, and at least once per year thereafter. PosiChek3
meets these stringent NFPAstandards.

Positive Pressure Welding Enclosure (PPWE)
PPWE are used to create a safe module within a hazardous area to
allow field welding be conducted in place or at times when it could
otherwise be impractical or prohibited.
The PPWE two main objectives are:
· To contain sparks from hot work inside the habitat and thus prevent
them from reaching flammable gas.
· To prevent flammable gas from entering the habitat by using internal
overpressure.
The PPWE are typically used for:
· Hot work at Zone 1
· Hot work at Zone 2
· Maintaining ambient temperatures for coating or insulation work where
containment is an important requirement.
