One evening, Fong Mei was walking home fromschool after her sports practice.
She was alone. Suddenly, shesaw a house on fire. It was her neighbour’s.
She heard a loud shout. It came from the house. She was shocked to see a boy
trapped in thehouse. Sheran and took a ladder that she saw outsidethe house.
Quickly, she leaned it against thewindow. She climbed up as fast as lightning to save
the boy. She broughthim to safety.
A few minutes later, his parentsarrived. They thanked her for saving him. She
was very proud of herself.
