Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited established in 1986 and headquartered in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. NCL operates coal mines across over 2,202 square kilometers and achieved an annual turnover of 9,303.88 crores in 2013-14. NCL aims to be the leading energy supplier in the country through best practices from mine to market. It plans to set up a 1,000 megawatt coal-based power plant in Uttar Pradesh and has various running and future coal mining projects. Financial analysis shows NCL to be in good financial condition with efficient working capital management.

11. MAJOR FINDINGS &
In the NCL there not to create debtors they generally deal with
first to receive the cash or cheque, and then they supply the
finished material.
During the study I find that there is no huge variation in
budget decided and the actual one.
In the NCL their working capital management is very good;
they use the IBS (ERP system) to manage the overall activity.
some the staff members of the NCL are lack of the computer
knowledge.
the management should arrange special training for educating
them.

12. CONCLUSION
After analyzing the different Ratios of the NORTHERN
COALFIELDS LIMITED I found that the company is really in
Good financial condition because the management has taken a
great effort in managing the funds like acquiring and allocation
of funds, optimum utilization of the available resources. The
organization is in sound position which is good for the
company, stakeholders as well as the country also. It is
currently in good financial condition and it is continuously
trying to implement new and techniques to improve its
productivity as well as profitability.
