Responsibilities Undertaken
 RF Drive-test & Physical Optimization Engineer.
 Complete knowledge of bench marking or comparative drive and data drive.
 Bench marking with 3 to 4 mobile.
 Analysis of Drive Test log files for taking care of External and Internal Interference in
the Network, which involves analysis of Rx quality, Rx Level etc, re-planning of RF
parameters in problematic areas accordingly.
 Manage short call and long call.
 Drive test and physical optimization of GSM network and UMTS networks.
 Done comparative drive test between 3G and 2G networks.
 Done drive test for the new site verification like sector swap, handovers success.
 Monitoring of RSCP& EC/I0 level of 3G sites.
 Responsible for handover between 3G to 2G.
 Responsible for handover between 2G to 3G.
 Network-Optimization by drive tests, antenna tilts, antenna orientation changes and
tuning the Cell-RF Parameters.
 Providing appropriate tilts (Electrical + Mechanical) to reduce the interference or
improve coverage Penetration.
 New site planning in Existing cities depending on Drive test results, Customer
Complaints and capacity.
 Handling optimization of new sites and handled problems like Call drop, interference,
handover failure, antenna tilting, competitive Drive Test.
 Drive test using TEMS, analyzing the drive data for optimizing the site.

2.  Got complete knowledge of working and troubleshooting various drive parameters like,
TEMS and its setting, sector swapping, tilts, attenuation, optimization using Map Info
and other parameters etc.
 Preparation of Rx level, Rx quality, C/I Worst & BCCH plots presentation for customer.
 Optimizing neighbor list, handover control, Cell reselection, frequency retuning.
 Handling of interference issues and overshooting issues caused by the site and
neighboring sites.
 Neighbor addition and deletion.
 To Check Feasibility with Other Operators.
