The prayer asks God to bring healing, wholeness, truth and light to all people and creation so that God's glory and Christ are known. It praises God for gathering all things and continually revealing Jesus as savior. It asks God to hear the cries of those who pray and grant that through proclaiming God, all people will experience love at work in the world.

Holy God, you gather the whole universe
into your radiant presence
and continually reveal your Son as our Savior.
Bring healing to all wounds, make whole all
that is broken, speak truth to all illusion,
and shed light in every darkness,
that all creation will see your glory
and know your Christ.

11. About eight days after Jesus said this,
he took Peter, John and James with
him and went up onto a mountain to
pray. As he was praying, the

of his face changed, and his clothes
became as bright as a flash of
lightning. Two men, Moses and
Elijah, appeared
in glorious splendor, talking with
Jesus. They spoke about his

God of every land and nation,
you have created all people
and you dwell among us in Jesus Christ.
