This document provides a lesson plan for a session on healthcare ethics principles for PG students in community medicine. The instructor is Dr. J. Vinothini and there will be 5 learners. The objective is for learners to identify the healthcare ethics principle most focused on in public health. There are two specific learning objectives: 1) List the four healthcare ethics principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice and 2) Identify the principle most focused on in public health ethics. The principles and what role the state has over individual rights regarding behaviors posing risks to the community will be discussed over PowerPoint presentations lasting 2 minutes and 90 seconds respectively. Evaluation will be through questions and examples.
