Senior/TeamLead:
Handlesresource/schedulingassignmentsthatare complex,greaterinscopeandrequireextensive relationships
with competencyleadsonengagementstosuccessfullyexecuteonthe engagementscheduling/resource
assignmentprocess.
I wasfocusing onmatchingresourceneedswithavailabilitywhiletaking intoconsiderationskillsrequired,
personalpreferencesandengagementrisk.I used to coordinate withotherclientservers to balanceworkloads
andaddress staffing needsas required.
Scheduling
1. Assigns appropriateclientservicepersonneltoengagementsbyassessinginformationavailableand
presents recommendationsbasedontheclientrequirements.
2. Challengehoursandpersonnelscheduledasappropriatetomakesureof efficientutilization of
resources.
3. Promotesandmonitorsthe sharingof resources;networkwith other team membersacrossotherregion
pool or competencyto addressresourceneedsand/orconflicts.
4. Resolves conflictswithengagementteam memberstoidentifyappropriatealternativesin a timely
mannerconsideringengagementrequirementsanddevelopmentalgoalsofstaff supported.
5. Buildsrelationshipsandcommunicatecontinuouslywithclientservicepersonnelto identifypersonal
schedulepreferencesand/orcareerdevelopmentissues.
6. Focusesonengagementneedswhilebalancingthepreferencesofindividual.
7. Proactivelyidentifiesandaddressesschedulingissues(i.e.excessivelyhigh/lowutilization,morale
issues, performanceissues,staff/engagement/clientissues).
8. Reassignsprojectsaspersonnelleaves/joinfirm or dueto clientdelay/acceleration.
9. Monitorsunassignedresources,actasprimarypointof contactforlocalunassignedstaff; proactively
identifyassignments.
10. Appropriatelyprioritize staffing decisionsbased onengagementrisk,specializationrequirements,timing
constraints,staffing continuityand geographic considerations.
11. Negotiatewith clientservingteamsto shift timeor createindividualavailabilityin order to meetstaffing
prioritiesfor the other regions
12. MonitorsTimesheetofclientserving professionalsandensuresTPCandWronglyChargedhoursare
kept at bay.
13. Participatesinorientationprovidingdetailsto new hireson the resourcemanagementprocess.
14. Uses the projectionreportsto identifyavailabilityof resourcesandover utilizedresources.
15. ResourceManagementtool - Getexpertisein handlinginternalresourcemanagementinorderto
managethe resource utilization.
16. Will perform newhireorientationfor all newjoiningprofessionals
17. Will be involved in EM Hiringprocess.
18. MonitorBenchlistandprovide inputs oncomingavailableresourcestomanagementregardingBench
list duringmeetings
19. Will actas first level escalationpointofcontactfor allthe MOUneedthat requiresattention.
20. Drive/leads someof the businessconferencecalls.
21. Will beinvolved in followupactivities to drive complianceatacompetencylevel.
Reporting:
1. Will beinvolved in preparing fewreports as perthe managementrequirements.
2. Will beassisting the seniorsin preparingvariousfew reports suchas Projections,Capacityetc.
3. Monitor,update& maintainheadcountforyour respectiveregion/competencyona monthlynote.
4. Will beinvolved in analysingthe regionDashboardspreparedbythe MISteam.
5. Will be responsibleto preparead-hoc reportsas appropriate.

1. Strong analyticalskills;detailoriented

4. Proficientat negotiation skillsandconflictmanagement

Supervision Responsibilities:
1. Mayoversee administrativesupportstaff, however, generallymay/maynot have counselling
responsibilities.
2. Minimal supervisiononaday to day basis;must be ableto work independentlyandbeableto set
prioritiesas appropriate.
3. Consultswith ResourceManagementleadershipasneededregardingissues/conflictstheycannot
resolve.
