The Event
ENGIMACH, approved by ITPO (Indian Trade Promotion Organization – a Govt. of India Enterprise) is a globally acclaimed show. ENGIMACH is today regarded as one of Asia’s most dynamic engineering, machinery and machine tools exhibition. iNDEXTb participated in the 11th edition of “ENGIMACH 2013”, organized by K and D Communications Limited and approved by National Small Industries Corporation (N.S.I.C). Technology Innovation was the major emphasis of ENGIMACH 2013.
Since its inception in 1997, ENGIMACH over the past 10 editions has been providing a unique opportunity and platform for all the participating companies to showcase their engineering, machinery and manufacturing capabilities and also provides international exposure to them which are pre-requisites for a competitive market. The event provides a huge networking opportunity to all the Participants, Delegates, Business Visitors and other key decision maker from the Engineering, Manufacturing and other related industry to interact with, and explore new business avenues. It offers an ideal launch pad for new ideas, products and services, conducive environment for forging joint ventures and collaborations and an open marketplace to source ideal solutions.
In sum, ENGIMACH 2013 is the open-access doorway to the global marketplace and a business solution.
Inaugural Session
The show was inaugurated by Mr. P.K Jha, Zonal General Manager (Central Zone), NSIC Ltd. In his Inaugural address, he said that ENGIMACH being country’s largest engineering exhibition has over the years provided a platform for Indian and International companies to showcase their latest products and technologies. He told that companies need to exploit the technological innovation concept in order to create new business opportunities. He stressed upon the importance of individuals as sources of innovation, something which is overseen sometimes. He thanked the organizers for inviting him and wished the event a grand success.

Exhibition
The five day exhibition had 369 exhibitors showcasing more than 1500 products spread across in 20 pavilions. Companies from countries like USA, Japan, Germany, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan, UAE, Netherlands and China participated. In this edition of ENGIMACH the participating companies showcased an exhaustive range of innovations and technology in the complete product range of engineering, machinery and machine tools industry.
ENGIMACH 2013 has received excellent response in spite of economic slowdown in the country. A large number of relevant visitors made their presence felt. Keeping this year's theme-Innovation and Technology in mind, exhibitors showcased their products. ENGIMACH is growing bigger and better with every edition.

CEO meet, considered as a foremost gathering of Presidents and Executive Directors specifically for the purpose of discussing the industry’s most pressing issues, was the flagship event of ENGIMACH 2013. This edition of ENGIMACH also had several student related activities like technical quizzes, visit of engineering college students, interaction of students with company representatives among others.

iNDEXTb/GIDC Stall
Government of Gujarat was allotted 300 square meters of fully built up stall by K&D Communications in the Exhibition area to iNDEXTb and GIDC for promoting Gujarat as investor friendly destination, and Vibrant Gujarat Summit. A large number of industrialists visited Government of Gujarat/iNDEXTb stall to discuss various aspects on infrastructure facilities in Gujarat, investment opportunities in steel as well as other sectors, Governance and Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
