iNDEXTb on behalf of Government of Gujarat participated in India “2nd International Exhibition & Conference PLOY INDIA-2013” an Exhibition on Plastics and Petrochemicals held from 25th to 27th April, 2013 at Chennai Trade & Convention Centre, Chennai. Plastic industry is emerging as a very important component of the Indian economy. As the economy expands, huge opportunities are emerging for Engineering Plastics. The Conference has provided special focus to Engineering plastics in Auto, Telecom, Healthcare and other emerging areas and discussed issues and the way forward so as to enable the sector to realize its potential and contribute in an optimum manner to the national economy. Accordingly FICCI jointly with Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Govt. of India and Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) is organising "Poly India" with the theme, “Opportunities in Engg. Plastics-Automobile, Telecommunication, Healthcare and other emerging areas"

We have participated in the event as sponsor by way of taking 100 square meters of space in Exhibition. As a sponsor, Government of Gujarat got following opportunities of promotion by FICCI:
1. Complimentary booth of 100 square meters fully furnished stall on turnkey basis
2. Highlighting iNDEXTb / Government of Gujarat as “Partner State” in all promotional press and outdoor advertisements
3. Mention on banner of each Seminar as ‘Partner State’

 Inauguration Session:
The Conference was inaugurated on 25th April, 2013 at 10:30am by Shri Indrajit Pal, IAS, Secretary, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Department, Government of India and Exhibition was inaugurated at 11:30am. On the Dias Mr. Bipin Shah, Co-Chairman, FICCI Petrochemical Committee, Mr. MS Dhakad, UNIDO, Mr. G. Mathi Vathanan, IAS, CMD, IPICOL, Govt. of Orissa and Mr. Rajan Kholi, Advisor, FICCI were present.

 Exhibition:
The exhibition has more than 100 domestic and international participants. iNDEXTb Officers were present at exhibition for manning the stall and to provide the necessary information to visitors.
 Government of Gujarat/iNDEXTb Stall:
Government of Gujarat was allotted 100 square meters of space in the Exhibition area to promote Gujarat as investor friendly destination for Plastics, Engineering Plastics and Petrochemicals Sector and Vibrant Gujarat Summit. A large number of industrialists and other entrepreneurs visited Government of Gujarat/iNDEXTb stall to discuss various aspects on infrastructure facilities in Gujarat, investment opportunities in Chemical and Petrochemicals sector as well as other sectors, Governance and Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
