3. Introduction
Preventative Maintenance – more than preventing a
man down situation
Compound Efficiencies – multiple efficiencies that lead
to a compounding effect
Sunk Cost - understanding the next step
Expense reductions leads to better profitability
(MIR2MIR)
4. Preventative Maintenance
Improving reliability and reducing road side break
downs
PM schedule by miles/KM, hours, date, fuel…
Recall equipment after service
Planning – timing is everything
Executing – internal and external work orders
5. Compound Efficiencies
Inventory and PO management
WO management
Dynamic
Internal and external
Expense capturing
RT mode
System interfaces
Accounting, fuel, mileage, others
MIR-RT improves all of these work flow integration steps
to save time, money and while reducing or eliminating
points of failure.
6. Sunk Cost
Moving forward – previous investments?
There is a very compelling essay written by Richard Nisbett from the “Culture and
Cognition Program” at the university of Michigan titled “Graceful” SHAS, shorthand
abstraction. In which he explores the concept of “Sunk Cost” and its effect on logical
decision making. This essay is one of many that can be found in a book titled “This
will make you Smarter” edited by John Brockman and published by Harper
Perennial books. You can also find the essay at http://edge.org/response-

To Renovate or Build?
To Fix or Dispose?
MIR-RT will help you to answer these important
questions that need to asked! How can you possibly
answer them without the right system?
7. Income and Expense
Efficiencies and the effect – fewer bills, fewer work
orders, less waist and improved performance
Realized change – less drain on resources = bottom
line impact
Measuring performance – reduced work orders,
reduced time, reduced expenses (MIR-RT has
comprehensive reporting)
Bottom line impact - the savings gained from
efficiencies directly impact the income statement.
8. MIR-RT
PM – Solid Preventative Maintenance routines
CE – Compound Efficiencies that enhance the whole
maintenance process.
SC – Sunk Cost; improving efficiencies should always
be considered.
Income and Expense – Improving resource utilization
increases your profitability.
Data Dis helps our clients realize more!
