INTRODUCTION
Exceptional children are those who deviate
significantly ,from the normal ages .An
exceptional child deviate from the normal
or average child on mental, physical and
social characteristicto such on extend that
he requires a modification and school
practice or special education service or
supplementary instruction in order to
develop his maximum capacity in education
science the term is used to describe
children on both the extremes and
achievement in intellectual work either they
are for above or below average in one or
more aspects of educational achievement.
EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL
NEEDS
It is in evitable that you will have the
opportunity and working with special needs
students in our classroom. We may need to
make accommodations for some and
modification for other. Profiting for the
needs and special education students all be
one and your greatest challenges in a
professional educationist these types and
strategies.
GIFTED CHILDRENS-NATURE
A gifted child is one who shows consistently
remarkable performance is any worthwhile
line endeavor .Such as individual extremity
superiority is generos intelligence or
possesses special abilities and a higher
order.
According to ability the term gifted or
talented stands for those whose
performance is consistany remarkable in
some potentially valuable activity .
Some psychologist have defined gifted on
the basis and intelligence quotient person
with on IQ higher than 140 can be accepted
an respectionally gifted . But a gifted child
need not necessarily possess a very high IQ.
Those who show promise in creative writing
,dramatic, mechanical, music ,graphic ,art
and school leadership are also individual
under gifted children.
CHRACTERISTICS
• In comparison to children and his own
age group he is superior in some ability
or group and abilities.
• He learns rapidly and easily and retains
in without much drill.
• He knows about many things and which
most students are unaware.
• He has rich vocabulary make by original.
• He is extremily inquisitice and quick in
understanding .
• A gifted child is much original in his
thinking uses good but unusual method.
• He is alert keenly observant and
responds quickily
• His span and attention is border and be
called perform difficult mental table.
ACTIVITIES
Gifted children are gifted far life .They start
out gifted and end up gifted .Gifted student
often get bored in regular classroom givied
them more challenging activity can keep
them motivated and focused on learning.

Create an advanced reading for the
gifted students in the class .
• Advancement
Giving the gifted child the opportunity
to advance in the lesson an help keep
them for getting bored .
• Modification
Give the gifted children modified
assignments. Modify the lessons to
make them more challenging for the
gifted children or the classroom create
group for the Gifted children.
• Special project
Most gifted children can finish their day
work quickly. Their leaves them with
nothing to do let them their time to
work on special project, related to the
current materials that is being studied in
class.
SLOW LEARNERS -NATURE
A backward child is a one who compared
with other pupils the same age show
marked educational deficiency
.Backwardness in general is applied to cases
where their educational falls below the
level and their natural abilities .
According to Burt a slow learners is a child
who is unable to cope with the work
normally expected and his age group .The
IQ and slow learners usally ranges 70 -90
CHARACTERISTICS
• Slow learners and feels difficulty in
keeping pace with the normed school
work
• His educational attainment falls below
his natural ability
• He falls for behind other children and his
age in mattter
• He is necessarily a failure is the
academic field and shows educational
improvement
• His span and attention and
concentration are short and sport

• His ability to evaluate materials for
relevancy is limited and has get limited
power and self direction
ACTIVITIES
• Provision for co-curricular activity: Rich
experience diversified when
backwardness is due to the lack and
interest in school subject . They should
be motivated by providing rich
experience in the form and various co-
curricular activities .
• Rendering guidance service : Lack of
guidance in making proper choice for
election and instruction and field to
work is who considered one of the
contribution of facor andbackwardness.
Proper personal and educational
guidance will help children to in their
curricular activities.
CULTURALYDEPRIVED
A child may be slow become be learns in
a one truck may and does not easily
adapt other frames of reference such as
those to the teacher .Every often his
minded individuals has considerable
potential much of which goen unrealized
becauses of luck in the educational
system.
CHARACTERISTICS
Considered with the educational
problems and children from Low -
income families one cannot ignore the
positive efferts of low income individual
to cape with their environment .Their
are positive feature in the culture and
the Psychology and low income
individual child is often slow in
performing intellectual task for reasons
other than dullness .The slow learner
can be gift and the teacher should learn
not to respond only to the quick
student. Second the verbal handicapped
culturally derived children only on a
formal level they are very good verbal
under informal circumstance the
teacher should use techniques to bring
out this verbal facilities finally deprived
children and their parents have a
positive attitude towards education.
CONCLUSION
An exceptional child is the who deviates
physically , intellectually ,emotionally
and socially so markedly from normal
growth and development that be cannot
be benefited from a regular classroom
program and reach special treatment in
school .The disabled ,disadvantage ,and
gifted children and exceptional children.
