• Founded by Firebird Mongolia Fund, Ltd., a private equity fund managed by
an affiliate of New York-based Firebird Management LLC
• Firebird is the largest foreign investor in MSE-listed shares and has been
investing in Mongolian public and private equity since 2006
• Supported by Firebird’s private equity organization in Mongolia—numbering
almost 50 people on the ground
• Taken public on the Canadian National Exchange through a Reverse Takeover
(“RTO”) into a listed shell company
• Raised $7 million to finance exploration and corporate restructuring
• Strong Mongolian partner – strategic minority shareholder in UTM
• Firebird and affiliates control 45%
