You will be establishing your civilisation, your civilisation’s government, religious system, folk tales, culture, Holy Book, music, art, and customs.
You will be graded on various assignments related to the civilisation project on an individual basis.
Portfolio: You will complete a portfolio of writing that includes revised versions of common writing assignments, creative writing that comes from your Friday writing prompts and writing notebook entries from the year. Keep all writing handed back because you will need to revise it and comment on it for your portfolio.
Research Project: Quarter 2 and 3 you will be working on your research project. The research project will be your opportunity to delve into a topic of your choice related to World Studies.
