Civics Course Syllabus Mr. Brian Schum bschum@fau.edu SUCCESS! Welcome to civics class! This is a brand new course and is designed for you to learn about government and how you can activity participate in the community. Throughout the year you will participate in a variety of activities that will challenge and expand your ability to read, write, discuss, and think critically. You will participate in many hands-on activities and will have a chance to work with your peers.  You will expected to work hard, ask questions, and become an active member of the classroom community.
