Commercial Drones Pros And Cons
There will never be commercial drones Commercial drones have been a long and current debate for
a number of previous years. Over the past few years a number of aircraft either missing or crashing
have been grabbing news headlines from around the world bringing much discussion about aircraft
safety. Unfortunately, 75% of general aviation accidents have been due to pilot error (Pilot and
Plane Mag) raising concern about pilot training and if in fact, there need to be there at all? I will be
providing evidence and research conducted within articles, videos and papers to conclude my thesis:
there will never be commercial drones. On February 4, 2002, the CIA used the first unmanned

Not only electric cars help us become more environmental friendly, in today's age, we are living in a
technology advanced world. Many different new technologies are being created, drones being one of
them. Drone delivery is something that is very possible for our company Amazon. The federal
Aviation Administration passed a new rule in which you must have to be at least 17 years of age to
fly a drone. If all rules are obeyed drone delivery can be something that our company can use for
local delivery. The FAA (2015) stated that "Under the proposed rule, the person actually flying a
small UAS would be an "operator". Having workers doing drone deliveries will assure that packages
are delivered on time and to the right place, also will create more jobs for people to run the drones.
The FAA (2016) also stated that "federal regulators plan to consider rules that would allow small
commercial drones to fly over people, a policy shift that could enable packages deliveries and other
commercial flights". Drone deliveries would change the way we deliver our packages today. Having

Song JH, (2009) states that "Many different materials are used for packaging including metals,
glass, wood, paper or pulp, plastics or combinations of more than one material as composites" (p
364). What this means is that most of the packaging materials we use for packaging contain
products that are very hard to de compose and end up in landfills. In order to achieve bio degradable
packaging we should consider bioplastic polymers which "are generally still much higher than that
of their traditional plastic counterparts" (364). Bioplastic polymers cost much more than regular
polymers we use but, if we can help our planet and company become more environmental friendly,
we should take that step and use bioplastic polymers for our

Military Drones Controversy
Today the use of drones has moved beyond military and recreational use and has emerged as a
trending topic of conversation within both the private sector, commercial, and military realms
(Bowden, 2013). Drone piloting has also become quite the topic of controversy due to military
drone pilots taking non–traditional routes to achieve pilot certification. Military application has
changed the landscape of foreign policy has augmented our military's reach across the globe with
the use of drones on the battlefield (Cole, 2014). As far as commercial uses drones are now
augmented the way we deliver packages and cultivate vast amounts of farm (Senger, 2013). Even
surveying of lands has changed with the adaptive technology drones utilize to map land features.

Most pilots have to complete several hundred hours of logged flight training to get certified a pilot.
Potential airline pilots must accumulate up to 1500 hours of flight time to reach the minimum level
of experience required to be considered a airline captain. In the case of military drone pilots ###
hours of simulated flight time is all that is required due to the fact that drone pilots do not ever
actually have any actual flight experience. Flight simulators are often used for flight training for
agencies and departments that have the money and access to them. However drone pilots rarely ever
actually train in anything other than a simulator. Flight controls for an unmanned aerial drone are
often based miles away from the actual drone. Technology like Satellite, GPS and other advanced
computing devices allow real time control on the drone without ever stepping for on the battlefield.
Thus pilots for our military drones are deemed full fledge pilots with no actual time in the

Ethics Of Drones Essay
Drones or unmanned aircraft are like a hammer or gun. They are tools. They are not inherently good
or bad. How they are used becomes the ethical issue at hand. Drones have a broad spectrum of
wage; from the delivery of pizza, to weather forecasting, to weapons platforms in armed conflict. It
is the purpose of this paper to show the use of drones in warfare is necessary and can be ethically
justified using the principles of both deontology and utilitarianism. The fact that drones are remotely
controlled, sometimes from great distances, does not remove the operators from responsibility, no
more than the bullet fired from a gun, it is still the responsibility of the soldier who fired it. Fighting

Deontology would say that it, is the pilot's choice to attack a known target or no to attack a known
target. Michael Bergmann advises this would be "distinction between objective and subjective moral
duties" he also notes this is "fairy common" (Bergmann). I liken this to the choices the pilot believes
they are in possession of, versus the reality of the choices they ultimately have. Deontologicaly
speaking the pilot would only be held responsible for the good or wrongness of their actions alone.
For example, if a pilot controlling a drone was sent to back up allied troops pinned down by enemy
fire and fired two missiles with the first missile striking and neutralizing the enemy combatants.
This would be a good thing. However if that second missile missed the target and hit a building
where it is unknown if the occupant inside are hostile, it is still a justified use of the drone to defeat
an enemy and the drone pilot would not held responsible for unforeseen collateral

5) MODIFICATION/UPGRADE Drone is a device and completely uses hardware to operate. Some
may have the skill to enhance the current drone into a new drone, drone that have many others new
features to make it better. With the benefits of the drone itself it also has the limitations in doing
activities. For example, the battery lifetime and the range for the drone to hovering is limited. To
make it better some may modified with other hardware to installed it on the drone to make it
hovering longer and further in range. With the current drone some owns, one may explore the
process and the system uses by drone and may create a new better version of itself for future and
better uses. ORGANIZATIONS 1) FILMMAKING The emergence of pilotless aircraft presents

There are numerous advantages of utilizing drones in farming. Firstly, the owner may increase
yields by finding potentially yield limiting problem and issues in a convenient manner. It will spare
much time by simply scouting their crops using drone that may cover the acres and section on foot
or walks. There is no need for the farmer to physically go throughout the field to observe on their
crops anymore. Using drones, farmers can specifically spray pesticides on plants that need it rather
than spraying whole field Drone can be very complex to set–up and operate, but with standards
presets its allow new operators to have confidence in operating from the early. Mostly drones are
installed with Integrated GIS mapping where the drone can be set for a flight pattern to scout around
the field without control it manually. It is easier for the farmer to do other things while the drone is

FFA: Why Do Drones Increase Their Liability?
As an agriculture surveyor who is trying to utilize drones to increase the efficiency of the surveying
the land for my customers, I would have a lot to consider before starting usage of drones. Currently,
the FFA has been given the power to create federal regulations around the operation of drones, but
the regulations have not been clearly defined yet which would legal environment of operating
drones ambiguous. Some states and local municipalities have even also created their own statutes in
order to keep up with the technology. Due to the fragmented rules governing different areas and a
lack of clear regulation from the federal government, operating a drone could open my business up
to substantial unforeseen liabilities. I would need ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
First I would need to clarify what is considered reasonable expectations of privacy. As a drone
surveying land I would not intentionally film people that had an expectation of privacy, but
inadvertently from the air I may capture footage of something where someone had the right to
privacy. An example would be next to the property I am surveying a drone inadvertently films the
private operations of a business whose competitive advantage captured on film. They had
constructed high walls around their property in order to protect those secrets, yet my drone was high
enough to see over the wall and captured on film parts of their operations. As a drone operator, I
would minimize as much footage as I could that viewed property not part of the project. Another
likely scenario that could happen is that my customer has a bad rapport with their neighbors already
and as we are going through the surveying footage with our customer they learn something they
could use against their neighbor. It may appear I was helping my customer spy on their neighbor. In
turn that could expose my business to an invasion of privacy tort due to the nature of the existing
relationship between the landowners. Things I would need clarification on would be what is the best
way to handle footage I may capture that could be considered an invasion of privacy. As the
surveyor and land use consultant, I may have

Pros And Cons Of Drones Over America
Unpiloted drone use has been a common place in military deployments for the past decade.
Television has made drones famous, showing up to the second video of bombs striking their targets.
But what about the use of drones on a domestic level? Is the public and government ready for
objects, some weighing 1000 lbs flying above our cities with no human interaction present aboard?
Is our culture prepared for unrecognizable surveillance from these flying objects above our homes?
Many people are not aware that drones have been used domestically for a number of years.
According to Charles Scaliger in an article title "Drones Over America" from The New American,
he states:
In a meeting with EFF representatives on April 19, the FAA disclosed that it had issued between 700
and 750 total certificates of authorization since it first began approving drone use in 2006.
Approximately 300 of those certificates are still active, suggesting that, inasmuch as the list released
contains only about 60 total entries, that many applicants have secured multiple certificates. One
FAA official told the EFF that he believed the University of Colorado alone had received as many as
100 COAs over the last six years. (18–19) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Drones are sometimes thought of as robots. Flying machines in the air with no presence of life. With
these thoughts out there the government needs to push a media awareness campaign to the public to
educate. Most people think of robots as portrayed in the movies. The public needs to be aware these
aircraft are not autonomous beings. In his book, Killer Robots: Legality and Ethicality of
Autonomous Weapons, author Armin Krishnin suggests we prohibit "self–learning" to avoid a
"Terminator scenario" (154). A media campaign may not only give a sense of knowledge to the
general public, but it may also ease the fears of privacy concerns involved with their use. The media
blitz has begun as stated in a Time.com

How Consumer Drones Changed Public Safety, And Privacy
How Has Consumer Drones Changed Public Safety, And Privacy? Imagine being able to fly through
the sky with nothing more than a remote control and a camera. This sounds pretty futuristic but the
future is here with the new consumer drones with capabilities such as GPS, auto stabilizing cameras
and advanced electronics to make the future a reality. But how safe are these drones to consumers
concerning privacy and public safety? Though these drones have improved consumer life, their
safety to consumer privacy and public safety is a major issue of concern. The research will establish
that these consumer drones are basically harmless, unless they land in the wrong hands.
Technological advancement has improved the consumer drones and the services they provide.
Scientific innovations such as GPS, autopilot systems, support software as well as the use of auto–
stabilizing cameras have made the consumer life full of imagination. "These drones have the ability
to fly at a programmed route while taking aerial photos and video recording even in the presence of
bad weather conditions and greater heights that make it impossible for pilots (Corrigan)". Which in
itself is pretty incredible. "The aerial photography achieved is with greater accuracy, therefore, they
could be used to make site surveys, monitoring crops, aerial 3–D mapping, military surveillance,
world life protection, and search and rescue operations (Handwerk)" which make the consumer

Learning how to fly a drone can be classified into three categories, Drone safety, Learning how to
fly, and when and where to fly. Drones can be put into two groups, the really advanced hobby
drones and the toy drones. The advanced drones have cameras, can fly in far distances and will stay
stable during high winds. The toy drones are cheaper aircrafts that are designed for children.
Advanced drones are meant for the outside though most toy drones are safer inside due to their size
and power. Even though drones can be different from each they all require safety, knowing how to
fly and when and where to fly. Even though drones can be fun, you still have to know how to be
safe. The first thing you will need to know is that you have to fly above people and cars, some of the
advanced drones can cause car crashes. You also have to avoid ... Show more content on

On most drones the controllers mostly consist of two joysticks. According to most drones one of the
joysticks can allow the aircraft raise or lower the altitude. This joystick can also make the drone spin
for a different camera view. The other joystick can move the drone in all directions. There all also
some other buttons or switches on the receiver, most of the time the buttons either turn the controller
on and off or change the flight mode. For example on the dji Phantom 3 you can fly the drone in gps
mode which will allow the aircraft to land in the place it took off and allow certain features. When
the aircraft is not in gps mode it is non gps mode, this allows the drone to still fly but it won't be
connected to a satellite or have any other features involving the gps. If there's any other button or
switch on the receiver the best thing to do is check the user's manual. Most of the time advanced
drones can be easier to fly because they can automatically stay stable and hover so the pilot doesn't
have to be 100% hands on the

Drone On Summary
In the article Drone On, Gretchen West addresses the possibilities for drones and her issues with
FAA and the slow pace their taking to establish rules for drone operating. She begins with the
history of drones. She discusses that drones were primarily use for the military and other
government sectors like Homeland Security, until private companies started developing an interest
in drones. Instead of helping in wars and watching our boarders, drones were now being used for
farming and bridge inspection. Now drones are an international and multibillion dollar industry.
Drones, are as a faster and safer way to do things like helping farmers with their crops or help
filmmakers shoot amazing footage; drones will benefit everyone. Commercial drones

The Infamous Reputation of Drones
For many people, just the word drone sends a chill down their spine. The infamous reputation of
these unmanned flying objects comes from their heavy use in war zones where they are meant to
track and kill. The purpose of these drones is to complete a mission without risking the lives of
soldiers. Contrary to popular belief, most drones are used for purposes other than warfare. The
public rarely hears about the positive side of drones and thus their opinion on drones is simply
biased because they do not realize that there is another, much larger side to drones that is peaceful.
Most drones are used for surveillance along borders or simply for fun. The use of drones for
recreation seems to slowly be catching on and will offer amazing possibilities. Even though many
people do not recognize the positive side of drones, they have the power to revolutionize the way we
see and understand the world, protect the lives of the soldiers and allow for amazing private
experiences through their wide range of uses. Drones have long proven their superiority in warfare.
They are capable to follow their target without being noticed and can strike whenever needed
without have a solder on the ground. It is not even necessary for the drone pilot to be in the same
country as the drone. A drone can fly in Afghanistan but the pilot is safe in his own home country.
The drone technology therefore saves the lives of many soldiers who would otherwise be in harms
way. Drones can prevent ambushes,

The Pros And Cons Of Shipping Drones
Many may argue that there is no practical use for shipping drones because of the disturbance they
can cause, the price of using them or that drones will not be able to navigate well enough.
Disturbance will not be a problem because of the laws that concern drones. New technology allows
drones to navigate better than ever before and greatly reduces the chance of crashing. Drones will
soon be a better option than delivery trucks to ship a variety of products from medicines to groceries
because the cost of creating a drone delivery network is much lower than the cost of many other
means of delivery and much faster. Because of all of the recent drone technology development and
economic benefits, drones have become practical and quite advanced. ... Show more content on

Delivery drones won't cover super densely populated cities such as New York and Los Angeles.
Because of the height of buildings and abundance of apartments delivery to the yard or door would
be nearly impossible. Therefore delivery drones won't be buzzing over pedestrians heads as they are
commuting to work or school. Delivery drones will mainly operate in the suburbs and rural areas
and will fly about 400 feet in the air until they need to land. Disturbance of planes will not be a
problem because drones will not be able to get within 5 miles of an airport. With the height that the
drones are flying, most buildings and powerlines shouldn't be a problem either. If a drone happens
to come upon an obstacle, the proximity sensors and other navigation technology will allow the
drone to safely navigate around the object in their way. (Scott

is also very useful in daily life, but at the same time, there are many disadvantages. The drone is
also known as UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), it is aircraft which does not need a human
command to fly on it. But it is controlled by a remote computer system. There are two types of this
system, remote control and fly manually by entered with a complex program. Most of the drones are

are also resiliant. They cut other costs as well, such as buying satilite images. Many drones come

Should Drones Be Banned In The United States?
Drones are the biggest problems in the United States due to all the issues that it causes. A drone is a
small manless aircraft driven by someone on the ground, it usually comes with a camera attached
which can record live video or take pictures. Some citizens think that drones are beneficial to both
the community and farmers while others think that it is the biggest problem to one's safety and
privacy. Drones should be banned in the United States due to them causing privacy issues, pose
danger to pilots near airports, and causing issues with firefighters battling wildfires. Interestingly,
drones can cause many privacy issues. For example, in The Record's article That little plane? It's a
drone. It's fun, but it can be dangerous too, the author states; "Small drones with high–quality
cameras make it easy to spy on your neighbors," (P. 26). Here, the author argues that drones have
the capability to spy on citizens due to the drones usually having high quality cameras. Many
communities think that it is the biggest privacy issue in the United States. Not only can this small

environment" (P. 5). This indicates that drones can be beneficial which include, supporting the

Ethical Problems With Drones
Ethical Problems with Drone Usage Drones are a new and versatile technology with a multitude of
positive commercial, private, and governmental uses. They are much more than just an invasion of
privacy, when used in the hands of an experienced pilot with a good moral compass. Commercial
Drone Use Tim Yakaitis of Connecticut uses drones for filming property for real estate listings and
other services in his company DroneOn (Townsend, 2014). A simple quadcopter drone with a GoPro
camera hanging underneath, is all that is necessary for him to run this niche business, which he
supplements with commercial landscape photography from his drone and on the ground.
Commercial drones are a reasonably new niche for public drone use, due to the recent innovation of
working quad rotor drones versus the typical single fixed blade like a helicopter (Rothstein, 2015).
Quad rotor designed drones allow for greatly increased stability and hover ability, at the cost of
reduced speed (Rothstein, 2015). This stability and hover increase has put commercial drones on the
map especially for use in cheap aerial photography (Rothstein, 2015).. Private Use In the private

amount of purposes, from agriculture to law enforcement and everything else in between. One
interesting aspect of UAS is their use in sports broadcasting. As with anything, this can have
positive points and draw backs. Think of the aerial shots one could capture of any given sporting

Juniper Research estimates the agricultural sector will account for 48 percent of all commercial
drones sales in 2016 (Murphy, dr. Christina Mercer & Margi.). If a farmer has animals or crops in a

with the help of drones he doesn't always need to be there and will have more time to do other
things. The farmers can use drones to check off their crops or animals which would make the
farmer's life a lot easier. Another great use for drones is in prisons. Drones can be used for prison
security. The drones can watch over the inmates when they are in the yard and other locations, so
they can make sure no one is being bad. Many campuses have cheap budgets and they need to pay

US Military Drones It is believed that United States Military Drones are one of the most advanced
robotic systems in the world today. According to Historynet.com, it is estimated that there are
thousands of these drones, or unmanned military vehicles and aerial devices, in the inventory and
care of the US Military (Singer, 2011). Drones are mechanisms and technologies that can be used
without the use of a human being inside of the robotic system. In most cases these drones are
maneuvered from a distance using remote control apparatuses and are much like the GPS systems
that a person might use in their car. Drones are watched and manipulated from anywhere in the
world. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Predator, which is manufactured by the US, which cost up to $11 million per UVA, and the
larger, more expensive, more advanced Reaper, cost $30 million per unit. We are known to have
over 7,000 drones and most of them (approximately 5,500) are used by the Air Force alone. In 2012,
the Pentagon asked Congress for a budget of $5 billion to make and maintain the force of drones
(Tomiuc, 2012). Israel does manufacture the world's largest and most advanced drone, the Heron TP
Eiten, costing approximately $35 million. This particular drone has a wing span of 26 meters and is
the size of a Boeing 737 being able to reach heights of 12,000 feet. It has the ability to stay in flight
for about 20 hours at a time (Tomiuc, 2012). While drones are not new news, they have been
extremely helpful in our war with other countries thus far. With Iran threatening Israel and the
United States, and the recent threats from North Korea to launch pre–emptive strikes against the
United States and South Korea, drones are again going to be very useful in helping us targeting the
missile strikes that are launched at us. As we already have deployed our Patriot Missile Launcher,
we are beginning to prepare the drones to take us to the next level if we need to strike back.

Drones In The Field Of Photography
Drones are being extensively used in the field of photography. It started as a hobby, but recently it
has taken a professional turn. A drone is an amazing tool that can help capture breathtaking aerial
shots that were unimaginable before. You might have seen stunning aerial shots of landscapes like
mountains, rivers, deserts and fields in movies. A helicopter is usually used for filming such images
in the movie business and a large crew is present to assist the camera person. However, in real life it
is almost impossible to arrange for a helicopter. Even if you have the finances available to you to
arrange for a helicopter, you would require a pilot to fly the helicopter so that you can take photos.
So, if you want to indulge in aerial photography

The Drone Age Is Coming Per Galeotti
Executive Summary
The drone age is coming per Galeotti . It has been estimated that annual spending on drones around
the world will almost double to $11.4 billion by 2022. New technology has been driven by the
military, and drones are critical to military operations. Due to changing times, drone use is rapidly
adjusting to commercial use by civilians.
This drone revolution has massive implications, ranging from legal and moral to economic and
geopolitical. It will be a deeply disruptive technology, able on the one hand to provide undreamt–of
capacities to impoverished people and countries, and on the other to widen the gap between haves
and have–nots. It may prove a creative, empowering experience, but also has the potential to be
destructive, destabilizing and divisive.
Drone one day will fight our wars and be a huge asset on the battlefield as well as controlling hostile
or volatile situations.
Currently, drone technology is being driven by military applications, and this will continue as they
become increasingly varied in their roles. Drones will do our work. Drones will carry out tasks
humans cannot, or do not want to do themselves. From remotely piloted ambulances to leading
SWAT raids in hostile situations, from collecting garbage to moving goods, they become ubiquitous,
even making their way into the media, gathering news footage and becoming entertainment tools.
Their ability to linger for long periods of time allows this real–time intelligence to be

Drones should not be illegal. Even though drones could be an invasion to privacy, they should be
legal because they are useful for security purposes and entertainment. Drones can be used for
security footage, they can also be used to entertain a family and bring them closer together.
Drones are useful in security because they can get footage that a cameraman couldn't. They can get
places faster and it is a lot less money for a drone than it is for a car or aircraft. Drones are important
for law enforcement too. They can pinpoint where someone is in a car chase and the police can stop
them faster. Drones also can connect to radios to let the police communicate quicker. Drones can be
used for household security. They

Drone Music: Éliane Radigue
Éliane Radigue, Étude from 'Opus 17' drone music is sustained by synthesizer tones. Her music
moves off from the broad–spectrum nature of drone music in its grip of deviation, substantiating a
structure reminiscent of phrases and sentences, rather than the timeless singular word or letter.
Radigue's exploration of variation and continuum are of attentiveness here, as it can be construed as
expressing a particular form of immanence for the audience member. I get a feeling of the sound
being worked from 'inside' and pays a lot of thoughtfulness to what the sound speaks to them, and
not compelling the sound to go in the direction that is suitable to the composer. Working in this
style, Éliane works in a commendable fashion, the timeless present, or instant, away from Chronos,
the ego, and the identity of past and future. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Her method produces a sense of variety, which is a series in which contiguous elements are not
discernibly different though the extremities are divergent, as the sound faintly and steadily alters not
a progression of periods, but a continuing process. Consequently, it is challenging to categorize
individual syntax, places, stages, or events across the piece and in a specific way, the auditor might
be assumed as being within the piece, rather than repudiated a place outside it. Étude from 'Opus 17'
integrates a twofold pendulum apparatus that makes its motion impulsive, as a counterbalance
moves the swinger, and in rejoinder, itself is moved. The feeling produced by this pendulum
apparatus is similar to being in a wave giving a sense of riding great

inform potential United States business leaders about the current application of drones or unmanned
aircraft in daily business operations. This paper will also be covering the change in the Federal
Aviation Administration's policy and how it will affect the future drone operations. Finally, this
paper will look into the possible future applications in which drones may be used by businesses.

The agricultural industry has alsosought intrestest in using drones for their operations, namely crop

to be daunting and inefficent ways to cover the crops; not to mention dangerous because an a human

crops. When using a drone to do the same task, it will decrease the cost of cropdusting and reduce
the health hazard to the people applying the pestisides. (Love, 2013) The last way in which drones
can affect businesses is by being used as guides. This can especially useful for museums and
universities. Similar to a tour guide walking visitors through campus, a drone can simulate the very

experimenting with using drones as tour guides to show visitors around the campus. (Love, 2013)

many safely practices as well with little government interference. Intro: Drones range from small to

dealing with since the evolution of drones are three main questions; are they safe, will they interfere
with manned aircraft, and what will people do with the onboard cameras. Drones started with the
military and are now are in the hands of individuals and small business. I will explain why it is a

If you spend thousands on a drone I'm sure you will follow the rules to prevent being fined or
crashing your drone. The FAA states the following general rules for personal use of drones "Fly
below 400 feet and remain clear of surrounding obstacles, keep the aircraft within visual line of
sight at all times, remain well clear of and do not interfere with manned aircraft operations, don't fly
within 5 miles of an airport unless you contact the airport and control tower before flying, don't fly
near people or stadiums, don't fly an aircraft that weighs more than 55 lbs, don't be careless or
reckless with your unmanned , aircraft – you could be fined for endangering people or other
aircraft"(FAA). On the other hand the FAA is allowing drones for professional use for business, but
before they get the drone in the air there are a few steps to take. The FAA requires "FAA
airworthiness certificate and operate pursuant to FAA rules. In both cases you would also need an
FAA Certificate of Authorization". (FAA) The FAA makes sure the pilot's, manned aircraft, and
people on the ground are safe at all times. Flying drones take a mature and responsible person to use
them properly. The FAA considers a drone for business under the following conditions. "Selling

Delivery Drones and Uses When will drones come? What will drones do? These are the huge
questions arising about drones that need to be answered, but frankly with all of the problems of
delivery drones, the answers and drones themselves will not come. Even though delivery drones
have helpful benefits, they should not be allowed because they are dangerous, inefficient, and
invasive. The dangers of delivery drones cannot be ignored and will be one of the many downfalls
of delivery drones. Drones are very dangerous to other aircraft in the sky. Drones can easily fly into

Delivery drones may never come because of all the difficult things that must be considered and put
in place. The cameras on drones have been brought up. According to Brian Elzweig, "It is likely that
the FAA will require a variety of different technologies to replace the traditional see and avoid
systems that would be used in traditional aircraft" (Elzweig 172). This is a difficult and costly
situation. If drones get better cameras then they could invade more people's privacy. Another topic
that has been brought up is if law enforcement would need to get warrants when using drones. Brian
Elzweig explains, "One area that courts will certainly have to address in the future is when the
Fourth Amendment would require the government to get a warrant to use a UAS as part of their
surveillance methods" (Elzweig 173). This specific regulation involves constitutional rights, which
makes this very hard to believe delivery drones will ever come even with the helpful benefits they

Usually, a quadcopter or drone will fly for around 5 to 15 minutes at a stretch. With a bigger battery,
the drone can stay air–borne for more than an hour. So, it is best that you opt for a drone that has a
powerful battery especially if you wish to utilize it for aerial photography or assessment purposes.
Make certain that the battery of the drone is rechargeable and can be rapidly powered up. Variety
The range of the majority of the drones is not more than 50 meters. This is usually an appropriate
distance for taking aerial shots. Nevertheless, there are advanced drones offered too that have a
much higher range. If you desire the drone for wildlife photography, then it is best that you choose
one that can offer you with a range close to 100 meters or more. Spare Parts Constantly ask the

Drones In The United States
The use of drones has brought an uproarious debate among both the people of the United States and
the people of the world regarding whether or not drones should be sold and used by the public.
Drones were first created for military use to scout and attack terrorists who plan to bring havoc to
the United States of America. Ever since the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, funding for the
use of drones sky–rocketed because people came to the realization that there was a need to
formulate different methods of security and defense. Besides the use of security and defense, people
have been developing new uses for drones. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently

states such as California are suffering under drought conditions and need new methods to conserve

crops need water. These flying devices can help contribute to water conservation in the west and
possibly bring multiple states out of long periods of drought. Additionally, drones can be used to
scout fields for insect infestation and crop diseases. Crop farmers can evaluate the economic risk
from the potential effects from infestation. The use of drones can make it easier for crop farmers to
diagnose the issue so that they can prevent too much damage so that they can maintain a profit.
Coordinates can be marked where this issue is evolving from and pesticides, herbicides, and
different methods of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) can be applied to the area. Drones can

In terms of PED, factors that we need to consider are the range and attractiveness of substitutes, the
relative expense of the product, and time. To explain those factors in more details, labor is the only
substitute for drones when they are used for delivery purposes. Since labor costs are high, the price
competitiveness of drones is high. However, if we consider delivery companies that utilise drones,
there are many companies including JD, SF Express, and YTO, many of them have their own drones
delivery. Besides, the price range of DJI's drone is from $300 to more than $1000, so there are many
available choices for delivery companies to choose. Additionally, 3D Robotics has released a type of
drone at a price of $1500, which is much higher than the price of DJI's drones.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles ( Uav )
Introduction – History Drones are considered to be pilotless flying devices, also known as
unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). They come in all different sizes and shapes. Some are visible in
the skies, while others are so small that they cannot be seen. According to (Henriques, 2014), there
are different types of drones. To name a few, they include quadcopters, microdrones, killer drones,
and radio control airplanes. Quadcopters usually have between 4 to 8 blades. Microdrones are as
tiny as an insect making them not too noticeable. Killer drones are used mainly in military to seek
their target. Radio control airplanes are a common type of drone usually flown by hobbyists on
civilian grounds. Prices range from being very affordable to expensive, depending on the feature
that each drone is presented with. Drones have been around longer than many of us are aware. The
first recorded drone to be used was in 1849 by Austrians, where they had built into a balloon
carrying bombs (cite history). Fast forwarding to present centuries, many drones are now built in
some form of airplane model. As we live in the near future, drones are now being used outside of
military and government related purposes. Today, drones are being flown by individual civilians
who enjoy building them, as it is a hobby for some. Drones are not new if we research on its history,
but it is a new technology rising within the business world today. It is becoming very popular for

such as with video games and drones will positively improve our daily lives if used correctly and
executed into our daily lives, especially students. With the advancement of technology, new systems

Until the regulations are created, using drones for commercial use is illegal. Waite furthers his
argument that a finger could be cut off by a blade of a drone, and as seen in a recent incident, a

the advantage of drones in areas such as finding information about fires, other natural disasters, and
even help examine endangered animals. Finally, Matt Waite concludes that with the accessibility
that drones have they can sometimes be considered intrusive. In a different article entitled "Drones
and GIS: A Look at the Legal and Ethical Issues," written by Caitlin Dempsey, she emphasizes that
lately, drones have been being used to gain geographic information and are considered an "essential
data gathering too." They have already been used to discover information in remote areas. The
author notes that drones have to follow regulations, privacy, safety, and noise protocols while
researching. In addition, Dempsey focuses on how the FAA restricts drones access any nearer than
five miles of airports, over military bases, and over 400 feet in the air.

Commercial Drones Pros And Cons

  • 1. Commercial Drones Pros And Cons There will never be commercial drones Commercial drones have been a long and current debate for a number of previous years. Over the past few years a number of aircraft either missing or crashing have been grabbing news headlines from around the world bringing much discussion about aircraft safety. Unfortunately, 75% of general aviation accidents have been due to pilot error (Pilot and Plane Mag) raising concern about pilot training and if in fact, there need to be there at all? I will be providing evidence and research conducted within articles, videos and papers to conclude my thesis: there will never be commercial drones. • 2. Drones Research Papers Not only electric cars help us become more environmental friendly, in today's age, we are living in a technology advanced world. Many different new technologies are being created, drones being one of them. Drone delivery is something that is very possible for our company Amazon. The federal Aviation Administration passed a new rule in which you must have to be at least 17 years of age to fly a drone. If all rules are obeyed drone delivery can be something that our company can use for local delivery. The FAA (2015) stated that "Under the proposed rule, the person actually flying a small UAS would be an "operator". Having workers doing drone deliveries will assure that packages are delivered on time and to the right place, also will create more jobs for people to run the drones. The FAA (2016) also stated that "federal regulators plan to consider rules that would allow small commercial drones to fly over people, a policy shift that could enable packages deliveries and other commercial flights". Drone deliveries would change the way we deliver our packages today. Having something that is very mobile and can be used ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Song JH, (2009) states that "Many different materials are used for packaging including metals, glass, wood, paper or pulp, plastics or combinations of more than one material as composites" (p 364). What this means is that most of the packaging materials we use for packaging contain products that are very hard to de compose and end up in landfills. In order to achieve bio degradable packaging we should consider bioplastic polymers which "are generally still much higher than that of their traditional plastic counterparts" (364). Bioplastic polymers cost much more than regular polymers we use but, if we can help our planet and company become more environmental friendly, we should take that step and use bioplastic polymers for our ... • 3. Military Drones Controversy Today the use of drones has moved beyond military and recreational use and has emerged as a trending topic of conversation within both the private sector, commercial, and military realms (Bowden, 2013). Drone piloting has also become quite the topic of controversy due to military drone pilots taking non–traditional routes to achieve pilot certification. Military application has changed the landscape of foreign policy has augmented our military's reach across the globe with the use of drones on the battlefield (Cole, 2014). As far as commercial uses drones are now augmented the way we deliver packages and cultivate vast amounts of farm (Senger, 2013). Even surveying of lands has changed with the adaptive technology drones utilize to map land features. The influx of drones in the public and private sector now has the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Most pilots have to complete several hundred hours of logged flight training to get certified a pilot. Potential airline pilots must accumulate up to 1500 hours of flight time to reach the minimum level of experience required to be considered a airline captain. In the case of military drone pilots ### hours of simulated flight time is all that is required due to the fact that drone pilots do not ever actually have any actual flight experience. Flight simulators are often used for flight training for agencies and departments that have the money and access to them. However drone pilots rarely ever actually train in anything other than a simulator. Flight controls for an unmanned aerial drone are often based miles away from the actual drone. Technology like Satellite, GPS and other advanced computing devices allow real time control on the drone without ever stepping for on the battlefield. Thus pilots for our military drones are deemed full fledge pilots with no actual time in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Ethics Of Drones Essay Drones or unmanned aircraft are like a hammer or gun. They are tools. They are not inherently good or bad. How they are used becomes the ethical issue at hand. Drones have a broad spectrum of wage; from the delivery of pizza, to weather forecasting, to weapons platforms in armed conflict. It is the purpose of this paper to show the use of drones in warfare is necessary and can be ethically justified using the principles of both deontology and utilitarianism. The fact that drones are remotely controlled, sometimes from great distances, does not remove the operators from responsibility, no more than the bullet fired from a gun, it is still the responsibility of the soldier who fired it. Fighting against groups who oppress their citizens through ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Deontology would say that it, is the pilot's choice to attack a known target or no to attack a known target. Michael Bergmann advises this would be "distinction between objective and subjective moral duties" he also notes this is "fairy common" (Bergmann). I liken this to the choices the pilot believes they are in possession of, versus the reality of the choices they ultimately have. Deontologicaly speaking the pilot would only be held responsible for the good or wrongness of their actions alone. For example, if a pilot controlling a drone was sent to back up allied troops pinned down by enemy fire and fired two missiles with the first missile striking and neutralizing the enemy combatants. This would be a good thing. However if that second missile missed the target and hit a building where it is unknown if the occupant inside are hostile, it is still a justified use of the drone to defeat an enemy and the drone pilot would not held responsible for unforeseen collateral ... Some may have the skill to enhance the current drone into a new drone, drone that have many others new features to make it better. With the benefits of the drone itself it also has the limitations in doing activities. For example, the battery lifetime and the range for the drone to hovering is limited. To make it better some may modified with other hardware to installed it on the drone to make it hovering longer and further in range. With the current drone some owns, one may explore the process and the system uses by drone and may create a new better version of itself for future and better uses. Firstly, the owner may increase yields by finding potentially yield limiting problem and issues in a convenient manner. It will spare much time by simply scouting their crops using drone that may cover the acres and section on foot or walks. There is no need for the farmer to physically go throughout the field to observe on their crops anymore. Using drones, farmers can specifically spray pesticides on plants that need it rather than spraying whole field Drone can be very complex to set–up and operate, but with standards presets its allow new operators to have confidence in operating from the early. • 6. FFA: Why Do Drones Increase Their Liability? As an agriculture surveyor who is trying to utilize drones to increase the efficiency of the surveying the land for my customers, I would have a lot to consider before starting usage of drones. Currently, the FFA has been given the power to create federal regulations around the operation of drones, but the regulations have not been clearly defined yet which would legal environment of operating drones ambiguous. Some states and local municipalities have even also created their own statutes in order to keep up with the technology. Due to the fragmented rules governing different areas and a lack of clear regulation from the federal government, operating a drone could open my business up to substantial unforeseen liabilities. I would need ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... First I would need to clarify what is considered reasonable expectations of privacy. As a drone surveying land I would not intentionally film people that had an expectation of privacy, but inadvertently from the air I may capture footage of something where someone had the right to privacy. An example would be next to the property I am surveying a drone inadvertently films the private operations of a business whose competitive advantage captured on film. They had constructed high walls around their property in order to protect those secrets, yet my drone was high enough to see over the wall and captured on film parts of their operations. As a drone operator, I would minimize as much footage as I could that viewed property not part of the project. Another likely scenario that could happen is that my customer has a bad rapport with their neighbors already and as we are going through the surveying footage with our customer they learn something they could use against their neighbor. It may appear I was helping my customer spy on their neighbor. In turn that could expose my business to an invasion of privacy tort due to the nature of the existing relationship between the landowners. Things I would need clarification on would be what is the best way to handle footage I may capture that could be considered an invasion of privacy. • 7. Pros And Cons Of Drones Over America Unpiloted drone use has been a common place in military deployments for the past decade. Television has made drones famous, showing up to the second video of bombs striking their targets. But what about the use of drones on a domestic level? Is the public and government ready for objects, some weighing 1000 lbs flying above our cities with no human interaction present aboard? Is our culture prepared for unrecognizable surveillance from these flying objects above our homes? Many people are not aware that drones have been used domestically for a number of years. According to Charles Scaliger in an article title "Drones Over America" from The New American, he states: In a meeting with EFF representatives on April 19, the FAA disclosed that it had issued between 700 and 750 total certificates of authorization since it first began approving drone use in 2006. Approximately 300 of those certificates are still active, suggesting that, inasmuch as the list released contains only about 60 total entries, that many applicants have secured multiple certificates. One FAA official told the EFF that he believed the University of Colorado alone had received as many as 100 COAs over the last six years. (18–19) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Drones are sometimes thought of as robots. Flying machines in the air with no presence of life. With these thoughts out there the government needs to push a media awareness campaign to the public to educate. Most people think of robots as portrayed in the movies. The public needs to be aware these aircraft are not autonomous beings. In his book, Killer Robots: Legality and Ethicality of Autonomous Weapons, author Armin Krishnin suggests we prohibit "self–learning" to avoid a "Terminator scenario" (154). A media campaign may not only give a sense of knowledge to the general public, but it may also ease the fears of privacy concerns involved with their use. • 8. How Consumer Drones Changed Public Safety, And Privacy How Has Consumer Drones Changed Public Safety, And Privacy? Imagine being able to fly through the sky with nothing more than a remote control and a camera. This sounds pretty futuristic but the future is here with the new consumer drones with capabilities such as GPS, auto stabilizing cameras and advanced electronics to make the future a reality. But how safe are these drones to consumers concerning privacy and public safety? Though these drones have improved consumer life, their safety to consumer privacy and public safety is a major issue of concern. The research will establish that these consumer drones are basically harmless, unless they land in the wrong hands. Technological advancement has improved the consumer drones and the services they provide. Scientific innovations such as GPS, autopilot systems, support software as well as the use of auto– stabilizing cameras have made the consumer life full of imagination. "These drones have the ability to fly at a programmed route while taking aerial photos and video recording even in the presence of bad weather conditions and greater heights that make it impossible for pilots (Corrigan)". Which in itself is pretty incredible. "The aerial photography achieved is with greater accuracy, therefore, they could be used to make site surveys, monitoring crops, aerial 3–D mapping, military surveillance, world life protection, and search and rescue operations (Handwerk)" which make the consumer drone not just for the amatuar ... • 9. Drones Research Paper Learning how to fly a drone can be classified into three categories, Drone safety, Learning how to fly, and when and where to fly. Drones can be put into two groups, the really advanced hobby drones and the toy drones. The advanced drones have cameras, can fly in far distances and will stay stable during high winds. The toy drones are cheaper aircrafts that are designed for children. Advanced drones are meant for the outside though most toy drones are safer inside due to their size and power. Even though drones can be different from each they all require safety, knowing how to fly and when and where to fly. Even though drones can be fun, you still have to know how to be safe. The first thing you will need to know is that you have to fly above people and cars, some of the advanced drones can cause car crashes. You also have to avoid ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... On most drones the controllers mostly consist of two joysticks. According to most drones one of the joysticks can allow the aircraft raise or lower the altitude. This joystick can also make the drone spin for a different camera view. The other joystick can move the drone in all directions. There all also some other buttons or switches on the receiver, most of the time the buttons either turn the controller on and off or change the flight mode. For example on the dji Phantom 3 you can fly the drone in gps mode which will allow the aircraft to land in the place it took off and allow certain features. When the aircraft is not in gps mode it is non gps mode, this allows the drone to still fly but it won't be connected to a satellite or have any other features involving the gps. If there's any other button or switch on the receiver the best thing to do is check the user's manual. She begins with the history of drones. She discusses that drones were primarily use for the military and other government sectors like Homeland Security, until private companies started developing an interest in drones. Instead of helping in wars and watching our boarders, drones were now being used for farming and bridge inspection. Now drones are an international and multibillion dollar industry. • 11. The Infamous Reputation of Drones For many people, just the word drone sends a chill down their spine. The infamous reputation of these unmanned flying objects comes from their heavy use in war zones where they are meant to track and kill. The purpose of these drones is to complete a mission without risking the lives of soldiers. Contrary to popular belief, most drones are used for purposes other than warfare. The public rarely hears about the positive side of drones and thus their opinion on drones is simply biased because they do not realize that there is another, much larger side to drones that is peaceful. Most drones are used for surveillance along borders or simply for fun. The use of drones for recreation seems to slowly be catching on and will offer amazing possibilities. Even though many people do not recognize the positive side of drones, they have the power to revolutionize the way we see and understand the world, protect the lives of the soldiers and allow for amazing private experiences through their wide range of uses. Drones have long proven their superiority in warfare. They are capable to follow their target without being noticed and can strike whenever needed without have a solder on the ground. It is not even necessary for the drone pilot to be in the same country as the drone. A drone can fly in Afghanistan but the pilot is safe in his own home country. The drone technology therefore saves the lives of many soldiers who would otherwise be in harms way. Drones can prevent ambushes, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. The Pros And Cons Of Shipping Drones Many may argue that there is no practical use for shipping drones because of the disturbance they can cause, the price of using them or that drones will not be able to navigate well enough. Disturbance will not be a problem because of the laws that concern drones. New technology allows drones to navigate better than ever before and greatly reduces the chance of crashing. Drones will soon be a better option than delivery trucks to ship a variety of products from medicines to groceries because the cost of creating a drone delivery network is much lower than the cost of many other means of delivery and much faster. Delivery drones will mainly operate in the suburbs and rural areas and will fly about 400 feet in the air until they need to land. Disturbance of planes will not be a problem because drones will not be able to get within 5 miles of an airport. With the height that the drones are flying, most buildings and powerlines shouldn't be a problem either. This makes people feel mad and angry towards drones. U.S. citizens should dislike drones because they do and cause many bad things. First, drones can fly very high which can be a major problem for planes. Since drones can vary in size, they can get in the way of planes by being too small for the pilot to see, or being to big and causes bad damage to the plane. A drone is a small manless aircraft driven by someone on the ground, it usually comes with a camera attached which can record live video or take pictures. Some citizens think that drones are beneficial to both the community and farmers while others think that it is the biggest problem to one's safety and privacy. Drones should be banned in the United States due to them causing privacy issues, pose danger to pilots near airports, and causing issues with firefighters battling wildfires. Interestingly, drones can cause many privacy issues. For example, in The Record's article That little plane? It's a drone. It's fun, but it can be dangerous too, the author states; "Small drones with high–quality cameras make it easy to spy on your neighbors," (P. 26). They are much more than just an invasion of privacy, when used in the hands of an experienced pilot with a good moral compass. Commercial Drone Use Tim Yakaitis of Connecticut uses drones for filming property for real estate listings and other services in his company DroneOn (Townsend, 2014). A simple quadcopter drone with a GoPro camera hanging underneath, is all that is necessary for him to run this niche business, which he supplements with commercial landscape photography from his drone and on the ground. Commercial drones are a reasonably new niche for public drone use, due to the recent innovation of working quad rotor drones versus the typical single fixed blade like a helicopter (Rothstein, 2015). Quad rotor designed drones allow for greatly increased stability and hover ability, at the cost of reduced speed (Rothstein, 2015). This stability and hover increase has put commercial drones on the map especially for use in cheap aerial photography (Rothstein, 2015).. According to Historynet.com, it is estimated that there are thousands of these drones, or unmanned military vehicles and aerial devices, in the inventory and care of the US Military (Singer, 2011). Drones are mechanisms and technologies that can be used without the use of a human being inside of the robotic system. In 2012, the Pentagon asked Congress for a budget of $5 billion to make and maintain the force of drones (Tomiuc, 2012). Israel does manufacture the world's largest and most advanced drone, the Heron TP Eiten, costing approximately $35 million. This particular drone has a wing span of 26 meters and is the size of a Boeing 737 being able to reach heights of 12,000 feet. It has the ability to stay in flight for about 20 hours at a time (Tomiuc, 2012). While drones are not new news, they have been extremely helpful in our war with other countries thus far. Ever since the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, funding for the use of drones sky–rocketed because people came to the realization that there was a need to formulate different methods of security and defense. Besides the use of security and defense, people have been developing new uses for drones. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently issuing rules outlining how they can be used. Ever since drones have hit the shelves for consumers to buy, more and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Trends in the climate suggest that the United States is receiving less and less water each year. Other states such as California are suffering under drought conditions and need new methods to conserve water. With the use of drones, farmers can view their fields from up above to determine whether crops need water. These flying devices can help contribute to water conservation in the west and possibly bring multiple states out of long periods of drought. Additionally, drones can be used to scout fields for insect infestation and crop diseases. Crop farmers can evaluate the economic risk from the potential effects from infestation. The use of drones can make it easier for crop farmers to diagnose the issue so that they can prevent too much damage so that they can maintain a profit. Coordinates can be marked where this issue is evolving from and pesticides, herbicides, and different methods of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) can be applied to the area. Drones can contribute to crop farming and scouting by reducing valuable resources and prevent production loss and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 37. Drones In China Case Study Our objective is to focus on commercial drones in China because "China's commercial sector is well–positioned for drone use, as the country is increasingly adopting advanced technology and automation to counter rising labor costs." The advantage of this product in the delivery industry is lower long–term costs, which will reduce labor and transportation costs. Specifically, drone is a normal good, or an luxury good. This product that we investigate is sold by a manufacturer business. As a manufacturer, it uses no intermediaries channel in the distribution, so it sells directly to the end consumer. DJI is our example to understand the possibility of success of drones in the delivery market because this company is an already mature delivery ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In terms of PED, factors that we need to consider are the range and attractiveness of substitutes, the relative expense of the product, and time. To explain those factors in more details, labor is the only substitute for drones when they are used for delivery purposes. Since labor costs are high, the price competitiveness of drones is high. However, if we consider delivery companies that utilise drones, there are many companies including JD, SF Express, and YTO, many of them have their own drones delivery. Besides, the price range of DJI's drone is from $300 to more than $1000, so there are many available choices for delivery companies to choose. Additionally, 3D Robotics has released a type of drone at a price of $1500, which is much higher than the price of DJI's drones. (https://www.reuters.com/article/us–usa–drones–consumer–analysis/consumer–drone–business– stumbles–but–commercial–markets–beckon–idUSKBN13701Z) Based on the evidence given, DJI is very likely to stand out if it tries to make contracts with delivery companies by being price competitive. Time is unlikely to be a significant factor because DJI directly provides delivery services for its consumers, which are some delivery companies. Government regulations play a significant role in the drone market, so there are more barriers for DJI to enter the delivery market. Reasons for the existence of government ... • 38. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles ( Uav ) Introduction – History Drones are considered to be pilotless flying devices, also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). They come in all different sizes and shapes. Some are visible in the skies, while others are so small that they cannot be seen. According to (Henriques, 2014), there are different types of drones. To name a few, they include quadcopters, microdrones, killer drones, and radio control airplanes. Quadcopters usually have between 4 to 8 blades. Microdrones are as tiny as an insect making them not too noticeable. Killer drones are used mainly in military to seek their target. Radio control airplanes are a common type of drone usually flown by hobbyists on civilian grounds. Prices range from being very affordable to expensive, depending on the feature that each drone is presented with. Drones have been around longer than many of us are aware. The first recorded drone to be used was in 1849 by Austrians, where they had built into a balloon carrying bombs (cite history). Fast forwarding to present centuries, many drones are now built in some form of airplane model. As we live in the near future, drones are now being used outside of military and government related purposes. Today, drones are being flown by individual civilians who enjoy building them, as it is a hobby for some. Drones are not new if we research on its history, but it is a new technology rising within the business world today. It is becoming very popular for commercial usage in the United ... • 39. Drones: Improving Our Lives Today, technology is an aspect of almost everybody's lives, and seems to help us in various ways. Lately, new technology devices and sources such as videogames are looking as if they could improve our daily lives, minds, and protect us from danger. Based on studies, technological usage such as with video games and drones will positively improve our daily lives if used correctly and executed into our daily lives, especially students. With the advancement of technology, new systems or machines are taking jobs away, but it is not necessarily a bad thing considering that the systems can do tasks faster, and even with such technology as video games, can enhance learning and boost other human attributes such as vision. As the technology continues to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Until the regulations are created, using drones for commercial use is illegal. Waite furthers his argument that a finger could be cut off by a blade of a drone, and as seen in a recent incident, a drone could hit a firework and burning plastic could fall on spectators. In contrast, Waite also sees the advantage of drones in areas such as finding information about fires, other natural disasters, and even help examine endangered animals. Finally, Matt Waite concludes that with the accessibility that drones have they can sometimes be considered intrusive. In a different article entitled "Drones and GIS: A Look at the Legal and Ethical Issues," written by Caitlin Dempsey, she emphasizes that lately, drones have been being used to gain geographic information and are considered an "essential data gathering too." They have already been used to discover information in remote areas. The author notes that drones have to follow regulations, privacy, safety, and noise protocols while researching. In addition, Dempsey focuses on how the FAA restricts drones access any nearer than five miles of airports, over military bases, and over 400 feet in the air. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
