Official languages in Afghanistan is Pashto and Dari. Afghanistan is the 41st

Afghanistan right now is called Hamid Karazai, who was elected in 2002.
Later on US helped rebuild council management. Unfortunately after all the
war Afghanistan has been through, one of Afghanistan’s most historical place,
Kabul has been nearly destroyed. Right now there is a war in Afghanistan
which started on October 7th 2001. The first paragraph which started the long
war is when the US bombed Afghanistan.

Afghanistan has been spending too much money on war buying war supplies
that a large amount of people in Afghanistan has to now live on only $2 per
day. One of Afghanistan’s traditional food is flat bread cook in the oven. That
kind of bread is very important in Afghanistan people’s daily life. On special
occasions people in Afghanistan serve a special kind of rice called pilau rice
with meat, carrots, raisins, pistachios or peas. The preferred meat in
Afghanistan is mutton but if not others such as chicken beef or camel is
alright. Fresh fruit is eaten daily as a dessert or just snack. On formal
meetings, men and women are separated and is started by drinking tea or
eating chicken peas. Afghanistan food is mostly based on wheat and cereal
like food. Afghanistan clothes have been one of most unique clothes around.
It is designed with colourful designs and patterns. A traditional hat worn in
Afghanistan is called Qarakul It is made with lamb skin and is worn because
of the frosty winters in Afghanistan. It is really really warm and expensive, it is
still popular but due to the fact that the price is more higher than other hats
fewer people wear it now. Cotton and wool are the most use material in
Afghanistan clothing. It is because it is more warm and can be made in to
more patterns. Women are only allowed to wear black shoes. It is forbidden to
wear white shoes because the flag is white and they say that means that
person is stepping on the flag.

Before, Afghanistan was used as the gateway to India. Darius I and Alexander
The Great were the first to do that. However Afghanistan was also one of the
most impoverished countries before Alexander The Great came, That meant
Alexander helped Afghanistan in some way. In Afghanistan it is split into
different groups such as, Baluch, Charhar Aimak, Turkmen…etc. Way before,
Afghanistan was actually ruled by people from Iran. It was until 1747 that
Afghanistan was freed. That year was when Nadir Shah, an empire from Iran
died. Unfortuantely Afghanistan wasn’t entirely freed. Suddenly a Pashtun
named Ahmed Shah came and filled the place as the leader. From then on
Afghanistan was set to be ruled for another 200 years. Low-knowledged
Ahmed was unable to unify the different kinds of Afghan groups so, it wasn’t

long before other rivals came and took over. Their next but last king named
Muhammad Zahir Shah was the person to rule Afghanistan’s last trapped
years. In 1973 the last king was finally pushed down from his throne by public
and republic was announced!!!!!
