2. Event Background
• The purpose of this event is to provide the premier exhibition of men’s
college soccer in the entire midwest.
• Players from local club and high school teams - as well as from teams in
town for a prestigious local club tournament - will be contacted and invited
to attend the two days of the exhibition involving some of the best Division
I, II, and NAIA college soccer programs in the country.
• Games will be held at NKU’s new, on-campus, soccer stadium.
• The event is named for John Toebben, former head coach at NKU and long-
time advocate for soccer in the Northern Kentucky region
• The event is the primary fund raising vehicle for NKU Men’s Soccer and
proceeds will benefit travel and scholarship expenses for the team
• Event is operated by NAC - the Norse Athletics Club - a 501c.3.
organization
