
 They are often described as water in a pipe!
 The pipe imitates the wire
 The water imitates the electrons
The current (or the amplitude)
is the amount of electrons
passing through the wire.

4. Voltage

 The voltage is often described as the pump at one
end of a pipe.
The harder the pump pushes, the faster the flow of
water through it.
The higher the voltage, the
faster the electrons are
passing through the wire!
