2. WHAT IS THE PLANNING BOARD?
▸The Agile process requires continuous planning. The Planning board is the
tool Yodiz provides you to streamline your project from the get go.
▸The planning board gives the user cross-project planning capabilities.
▸ User Stories and bugs are moved from either backlog to releases and sprint,
or from one sprint to another.
▸The Planning board makes the whole process of planning easier by providing
an interface where User Stories and Issues are moved effortlessly from one
backlog to another.
3. HOW TO USE THE PLANNING BOARD
▸ The Planning board gives you a side by side, panel based
overview of your Epics, Backlog, Sprints, Releases and
Issues.
▸ Each individual Panel represents a board.
▸ You can use the drop down menus to add an Epic,
Backlog, Sprint, Release, or Issues panel.
▸ Individual items can then be moved across panels which
would infact move them between boards.
4. HOW TO CREATE ITEMS IN THE PLANNING BOARD
▸ Items can be added to the Planning Board by pressing the Add button.
▸ The Add button allows you to Add any type of work item to any of the
boards in any of the projects.
▸ Items can be created from here at a a global level.
5. HOW TO CREATE ITEMS IN THE PLANNING BOARD
▸ Once a Panel is created, it’s contents can be modified by using the
icons at the top of the panel.
▸ You can choose to search the panel, create a new item in the panel,
refresh the panel, or sort it accroding to ascending or descending order
with the use of these icons.
6. ▸ Searches performed on the planning board are global in
nature, i.e, they bring back results from across all projects.
▸ Searches can be performed by using the Search field.
▸ You can perform a search based upon a tag, an item ID, or
it’s title.
▸ Performing a search will open up a new Panel on the board,
which will display all relevant results related to the search
query.
