Introduction :
The Chishtian Logistic (TCL)formerly TCG is a well-known and reputed haulage company in Pakistan for
transportationof hazardousgoodsincompliance of safetystandards.We are pioneerinachievingCEFIC-SQAS
standard for our operation.
TCG starteditsbusinessin1970 at Chishtian.In1983 TCG starteditsbusinessinKarachi withthe name of New
ChishtianGoodsTransportCompany.DuringthislongeraTCG hasbeenenjoyingworking with major national
and multinational customersthroughoutPakistan.Finallyin 2002, afterdiscussion with all the partners of the
company name of the company was changed to “The Chishtian Goods Transport Co”.
Managing Partnerof TCG hasdecided tochange the name of firmas under"The ChishtianLogistic"with effect
from 1st
June, 2011.
Our customers have always appreciated our services. Selection of TCL out of 28 companies for
implementation of CEFIC-SQAS (European Road Haulage Standard), sponsored by ICI Pakistan Limited, was
pride recognition of our quality services. The project of CEFICstarted in September 1998. Implementation
Standard put us on the height of safety.
It isnot the endof our Roadto Success,but the start. Onthe continuationof achievements, we also achieved
ISO 9001-2008 certifications in 2008.

COMMITMENT AND PRINCIPLES
Safety is a fundamental value of The Chishtian Logistic. It is implicit in our products and
services and in the way we work. We do not compromise on the safety and health of those
who work for our business.
We believe that all injuries, work-related illnesses and accidents are preventable, and we
strive for the highest standards of safety and health performance. Our safety culture is based
on prevention, hazard awareness, continuous improvement and compliance with carefully-
developed procedures.
Through this culture we will make rapid progress in our performance. By the nature of our
business, most of our people work independently: hence the safety culture will only be fully
effective when each one of us personally and instinctively adopts and conforms to it.
RESPONSIBILITY
Each employee is responsible for the safety consequences of what he or she does or fails to
do. Each of us shall maintain a high level of safety awareness at work, comply with all
applicable safety rules and work instructions, promptly report all accidents, safety incidents
and unsafe conditions to our supervisor, warn those who might be at risk from hazards where
we are working, and where possible protect them from these hazards until the risk is no
longer present.

Drugs & Alcohol Policy
PURPOSE
 To support our responsibility for and commitment towards our team members to ensure a safe and
healthy workplace especially drivers & helpers
 To ensure that all team members at THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC, have a work environment which is
free of alcohol and drug use/abuse
 To outline the company’s expectations and requirements for creating andmaintaining an alcohol and
drug free work environment, and for dealing withsubstance abuse in the workplace, drivers’ room,
warehouse, loading area & unloading area
SCOPE
This policy applies, at the workplace, drivers’ room, warehouse, loading area & unloading area to all team
members especially including Drivers & helpers of THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC (referred as the “Company
employee”) and also includes visitors and subcontractors inside and outside of normal scheduled working
hours.
 All individuals working at THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC, are expected to report fit for duty for scheduled
work and be able to perform assigned duties safely and acceptably without any limitations due to the
use or after-effects of alcohol, illicit drugs, non-prescription drugs, or prescribed medications or any
other substance
 Off the job and on the job involvements with alcohol or drugs can have adverseeffects upon the
workplace, the integrity of our work product, the safety of otherteam members, the well being of our
team member’s families, and the ability toaccomplish the goal of an alcohol and drug free work
environment. As such, theCompany wants to impress upon all team members that it has zero
tolerance forteam members who arrive at work under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and/or whose
ability to work is impaired in any way by reason of the consumption of alcohol or drugs, or who
consume alcohol or drugs on Company property or what so ever
Roles & Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of allManagers & Supervisors to identify a situation in which they have concerns about an
individual’s immediate ability to perform their job, and take appropriate steps. Where necessary, they will
remove any team member (refer to DRIVERS & HELPERS moving with the goods loaded Vehicle or empty)
who is suspected of violating the provisions of this policy from Company premises, pending investigation and a
decision on appropriate consequences including potential disciplinary action.

SUBCONTRACTING ROAD HAULAGE POLICY
Our policy to sub contracting road haulage is congruent to our policy for Safety,
Health and Environment. We are committed to make our on the road and on-the-
site operations safe and environment friendly. To achieve this goal we will strive to
attain zero accident in our on-the-road operations. We believe that our sub
contractors will help us to achieve this goal. We will strengthen our relationship
with our sub contractors and expect them to help us to achieve this goal and fulfill
the following requirements;
1. Acceptance of our requirement mentioned in thesub-contractors agreement.
2. Fulfillment of all pre-load check requirements.
On the basis of support and agreement points we recognize the sub contractors in
the following three categories;
Categories Points achieved
1- Long Term Sub-Contractors 100-75 Points
2- Temporary Sub-Contractors 41-74 Points
3- On-The-Spot Sub-Contractors 40 Points
We will help contractors in upper categories in terms of business and trainings
(subject to the availability of vehicles and requirements of the operations.)

QUALITY POLICY
THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTICis a growing company committed to providing a quality
service to all its customers, in a timely and cost efficient manner.
The Quality Policy of the company is:-
1. To provide a transport service that meets customer needs and requirements
2. To comply with current transport legislation by:-
 Using vehicles and equipment that meet current provided standards by
Government of Pakistan carriage of dangerous goods regulations
 Using trained, qualified and experienced drivers
3. To maintain communications with customers so that service levels are measured and
improved where possible
4. To manage the business so that efficiency, competitiveness and profitability are
maintained and the customer base is expanded

Cefic-SQAS Implementation
In 1998 we were awarded as haulier to provide logistic services to ICI Pakistan Limited regarding
implementation of CEFIC-SQAS (European Haulage Standard) project with two more haulers. In this
standard, we covered following sections in consultation of M/s. Consult & Train.

6) Inspection of Depot
Annual audits are conducted as per CEFIC protocol by the management of our client AkzoNobel
Pakistanto assess the overall performance during the previous year and to identify areas of
improvement. Monthly CEFIC meetings are also carried out with our client AkzoNobel Pakistanat
Sheikhupura site to review monthly performance and to discuss any other issues pertaining to Cefic
requirements. Monthly data on staff trainings, vehicle breakdowns, HSE&S compliance etc is also
regularly shared and documented at these meetings.

We do not compromise on the safety and health of those who work for our business. We believe that all injuries, work-related illnesses and accidents are preventable, and we strive for the highest standards of safety and health performance. Our safety culture is based on prevention, hazard awareness, continuous improvement and compliance with carefully- developed procedures. Through this culture we will make rapid progress in our performance. By the nature of our business, most of our people work independently: hence the safety culture will only be fully effective when each one of us personally and instinctively adopts and conforms to it. RESPONSIBILITY Each employee is responsible for the safety consequences of what he or she does or fails to do. Drugs & Alcohol Policy PURPOSE  To support our responsibility for and commitment towards our team members to ensure a safe and healthy workplace especially drivers & helpers  To ensure that all team members at THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC, have a work environment which is free of alcohol and drug use/abuse  To outline the company’s expectations and requirements for creating andmaintaining an alcohol and drug free work environment, and for dealing withsubstance abuse in the workplace, drivers’ room, warehouse, loading area & unloading area SCOPE This policy applies, at the workplace, drivers’ room, warehouse, loading area & unloading area to all team members especially including Drivers & helpers of THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC (referred as the “Company employee”) and also includes visitors and subcontractors inside and outside of normal scheduled working hours.  All individuals working at THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC, are expected to report fit for duty for scheduled work and be able to perform assigned duties safely and acceptably without any limitations due to the use or after-effects of alcohol, illicit drugs, non-prescription drugs, or prescribed medications or any other substance  Off the job and on the job involvements with alcohol or drugs can have adverseeffects upon the workplace, the integrity of our work product, the safety of otherteam members, the well being of our team member’s families, and the ability toaccomplish the goal of an alcohol and drug free work environment. As such, theCompany wants to impress upon all team members that it has zero tolerance forteam members who arrive at work under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and/or whose ability to work is impaired in any way by reason of the consumption of alcohol or drugs, or who consume alcohol or drugs on Company property or what so ever Roles & Responsibilities It is the responsibility of allManagers & Supervisors to identify a situation in which they have concerns about an individual’s immediate ability to perform their job, and take appropriate steps.   • 12. Our policy to sub contracting road haulage is congruent to our policy for Safety, Health and Environment. We are committed to make our on the road and on-the- site operations safe and environment friendly. To achieve this goal we will strive to attain zero accident in our on-the-road operations. We believe that our sub contractors will help us to achieve this goal. We will strengthen our relationship with our sub contractors and expect them to help us to achieve this goal and fulfill the following requirements; 1. Acceptance of our requirement mentioned in thesub-contractors agreement. 2. Fulfillment of all pre-load check requirements.   • 16. In 1998 we were awarded as haulier to provide logistic services to ICI Pakistan Limited regarding implementation of CEFIC-SQAS (European Haulage Standard) project with two more haulers. In this standard, we covered following sections in consultation of M/s. Consult & Train. Sections : 1) Operation 2) Management 3) Equipment 4) Safety, Health & Environment 5) Quality 6) Inspection of Depot Annual audits are conducted as per CEFIC protocol by the management of our client AkzoNobel Pakistanto assess the overall performance during the previous year and to identify areas of improvement. Monthly CEFIC meetings are also carried out with our client AkzoNobel Pakistanat Sheikhupura site to review monthly performance and to discuss any other issues pertaining to Cefic requirements.
