The Chishtian Logistic (TCL)formerly TCG is a well-known and reputed haulage company in Pakistan for

free of alcohol and drug use/abuse
To outline the company’s expectations and requirements for creating andmaintaining an alcohol and
drug free work environment, and for dealing withsubstance abuse in the workplace, drivers’ room,
warehouse, loading area & unloading area
SCOPE
This policy applies, at the workplace, drivers’ room, warehouse, loading area & unloading area to all team
members especially including Drivers & helpers of THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC (referred as the “Company
employee”) and also includes visitors and subcontractors inside and outside of normal scheduled working
hours.
All individuals working at THE CHISHTIAN LOGISTIC, are expected to report fit for duty for scheduled
work and be able to perform assigned duties safely and acceptably without any limitations due to the
use or after-effects of alcohol, illicit drugs, non-prescription drugs, or prescribed medications or any
other substance
Off the job and on the job involvements with alcohol or drugs can have adverseeffects upon the
workplace, the integrity of our work product, the safety of otherteam members, the well being of our
team member’s families, and the ability toaccomplish the goal of an alcohol and drug free work
environment. As such, theCompany wants to impress upon all team members that it has zero
tolerance forteam members who arrive at work under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and/or whose

It is the responsibility of allManagers & Supervisors to identify a situation in which they have concerns about an
individual’s immediate ability to perform their job, and take appropriate steps. Where necessary, they will
remove any team member (refer to DRIVERS & HELPERS moving with the goods loaded Vehicle or empty)
who is suspected of violating the provisions of this policy from Company premises, pending investigation and a
decision on appropriate consequences including potential disciplinary action.

SUBCONTRACTING ROAD HAULAGE POLICY
12. Our policy to sub contracting road haulage is congruent to our policy for Safety,
Health and Environment. We are committed to make our on the road and on-the-
site operations safe and environment friendly. To achieve this goal we will strive to
attain zero accident in our on-the-road operations. We believe that our sub
contractors will help us to achieve this goal. We will strengthen our relationship
with our sub contractors and expect them to help us to achieve this goal and fulfill
the following requirements;
1. Acceptance of our requirement mentioned in thesub-contractors agreement.
2. Fulfillment of all pre-load check requirements.
On the basis of support and agreement points we recognize the sub contractors in
the following three categories;

16. In 1998 we were awarded as haulier to provide logistic services to ICI Pakistan Limited regarding
implementation of CEFIC-SQAS (European Haulage Standard) project with two more haulers. In this
standard, we covered following sections in consultation of M/s. Consult & Train.

Annual audits are conducted as per CEFIC protocol by the management of our client AkzoNobel
Pakistanto assess the overall performance during the previous year and to identify areas of

Sheikhupura site to review monthly performance and to discuss any other issues pertaining to Cefic
requirements. Monthly data on staff trainings, vehicle breakdowns, HSE&S compliance etc is also
regularly shared and documented at these meetings.
