2. The markets closed green today. Sensex close up 138.78 gains 0.52% & the Nifty close
up 42.60 gains 0.54%, ended with some smart gains on hopes that FOMC meeting
outcome will be favourable as Fed Reserve indicated that there may be no rate cuts till
2015. Jindal Steel fell 4 percent and Sesa Sterlite lost 2%. Cipla, Coal India & Gail India
declined over a percent. Dr Reddy's Labs, Infosys, Tata Power, BHEL & Wipro are top
gainers in the Sensex. Among losers are Cipla, Coal India, HDFC Bank & Sun Pharma.
