We cannotput our whole trustinpeople where itneedstobe inGod. Yes,we are to trustpeople and
love people,butoursole devotionneedstobe JesusChrist.Onlyhe canbe the true friendthatwe are
all lookingfor.People willbe people,butwe canovercome sinbywalkinginGod’sgrace.We can learn
to treat othersthe waywe want to be treatedandnot getangry whenpeople donotdowhat we want
themto do.We have to learnto letgo…andletGod.

to accept our weaknessesandsinssince we are notperfectedyet.We have beenmade righteousin

We maynot be acceptedor rejectedbyothers…butdonotletthat define whoyouare.People donot
define whoyouare,Goddoes.Your identityisinhim…andyouare to live foryourcreator,not people.
Thisway,you can serve andworshipGodthe wayhe wantsyoudo, andlove otherssince Godlovesus.
We are more thanconquerorsthroughhimthat lovedus…we canwalkinhislove whenwe embrace the
creationwe are andour properfunction:toglorifyGod.We can be free fromlivingforpeople by
choosingtolive forGod inorder to please God.Yes,we are to make sacrificestoplease people,andyes,
we are to be genuinelyinterestedinotherswelfare,butwe are to put God firstandlive toglorifyhim.
You will wanttolove othersandbe concernedfortheirwelfare,butatthe same time,wantingtoplease
God. None of this,“Imhere to please Godand notpeople”attitude.
We are fearfullyandwonderfullymade,because we are made toobeyGod andto revere himinour
livesineverythingwe do.Butinorderto do that, we mustwrap our mindaroundhow God seesusand
valuesusso we can see andvalue othersthe same way.We can be free fromour sinnature and by living
for ourselvesandliveforGodand hisglory.Since Jesussavedusfromourselves,we are free toworship
himin spiritandintruth, whichmeansfollowinghimandtrustinghimwitheverything.
If you have not receivedJesusasyourLord and Savior,Iencourage youto do that rightnow.You can be
the personthat God callsyouto be anddo amazingthingsforGod. God usesthose whotrusthim.
Receive himtodaybyturningtoGod from yourcurrent life of sinandallow himtotransformyou.
Believe thatChristdiedforyoursins,wasburiedandrose againfromthe dead…itisthat simple.If you
have placedfaithinChrist,youare a childof God and destinedtodogreatthingsfor the kingdomof
God.
Remember,we are tonot have confidence inthe flesh…butinthe one wholovedus(Rom8:37). When
we receive God’slove andgrace,itempowersustoserve ineveryareaof our lives.We justhave to
receive hislove andlose ourselvesinthe process. Remember,we donothave to accept andapprove of
othersbehavior,butwe canlove people inspite of theirbehavior.
We are to accept ourselvesandothersincludingtheir:

2. Interests
3. Hobbies
4. Goals
5. Personality

We are all growing,learning,andbeingtransformedfromglorytogloryinChrist(if a believer),sohelp
