Determiners are words like "the", "an", and "my" that usually come at the beginning of noun phrases and indicate grammatical relationships. Examples of determiners are some, few, little, much, many, small, a, the, and even numbers can act as determiners. Either and neither are used in sentences involving a choice between two items, with either meaning one or the other of two options and neither meaning not the first and not the second.
