INDUSTRIAL VISITS
A one-day industrial visit to Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE)
DRDO,Chennai.
Purpose of Visit: To know about the manufacturing unit of high precision bearing and gear train for Aircraft
Mounted Accessory Gearbox(AMAGB) and 5kW brushless DC generating system for LCA Tejas.
A One-day visit to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) Trivandrum,Kerala.
Purpose of Visit: To know about the satellites and launch vehicles developed in VSSC and ISRO.
INTERNSHIP
Internship at Centre for Airborne System(CABS), DRDO, Bangalore, Karnataka.
Purpose of Internship: To learn about the overall idea of Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C)system
and the necessity of it for the Indian sub-continent and also carried out a study on International Standard
Atmosphere (ISA),under the guidance of shri.RV Ramkumar (scientist- 'F'), Team Head of Flight Operations for
Director (CABS).
PROJECTS
Aircraft Design Project (ADP)
To design a payload of 125 tones long haul cargo aircraft with an operating range of 12000km.
Results: Work as a team and understand the Concepts involved in Aerodynamic
design, Performance analysis and stability aspects and structural design of an aircraft.
Aeromodelling ( low cost UAV)
To design a Remote Control (RC) plane of weight upto 1kg.
ACTIVITIES
Food Coordinater in Alumni Meet-2019 organized by Association Of Aeronautical Engineers (AAE).
