 Woked on various methods and techniques involved in Ship Design and Manufacturing.
 Explored Manufacturing departments include Hull Shop, Pre fabrication, Erection and Building dock.
 Over a duration of one month.
PROJECTS
 VIBRATION ASSITED GRINDING (Aug-Dec’15)
 Developed a virtual simulation setup to perform 1-D Vibration assisted Grinding and analyse the results.
 Vibrations generated using Cam-Follower mechanism are transmitted to workpiece.
 ELECTRO MAGNETIC BRAKING SYSTEM (Jan-May’16)
 Adapted innovative Braking System of electromagnets into Heavy vehicles, alongside with friction brakes.
 Eddy currents created in wheels using electromagnets, causes anti torque which slows down the wheel.
 DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF WHIP RIDE (Aug-Dec’15)
 Virtual simulation of Whip ride used in Amusement Parks to analyse shaking force and moment.
 Varying size of links in whip ride, dynamically stable model is achieved for more entertainment and safety.
 DESIGN OF HEAT EXCHANGER FOR INTEGRATED RANKINE & BRAYTON CYCLE. (Aug-Dec’16)
 Basic idea is to transfer the waste exhaust heat from Brayton cycle to Rankine cycle as heat input.
 VIBRATION SUPRESSION IN TURBO MACHINES (ON GOING)
 Studying basic crack formation and propagation in turbo machines through vibrations.
