6.  Measurements occured between May and June.
 Summer Measurements of electricity were collected from
24 families with different characteristics, both in household
composition as in the use of different home appliances
 Most families have 3 or 4 people in their household
composition.

by the fact that there has been some maintenance work being done at
school.

Comparing the figures about school energy measurements in
summer and winter, we can see that the average consumption
is similar, although there are differences in the four weeks.

17. According to the sample, energy consumption is not related
to a large scale use of heating systems or air conditioning
for heating or cooling our families`homes or our school.
The figures reflect the use of energy for :
• Lighting or illumination
• Use of radiators
• Use of electric fans
• Other home appliances: washing
machine, dishwasher, iron, fridge, vacuum
cleaner, microwave oven

18. According to this pie graph, Portugal is spending energy which
is produced mainly by renewable sources of energy .
