• Every year thousands of gallons of water are
sprayed on lawns to maintain them in the united
states.
• This water is usually fresh water which could be
conserved to protect gound water
• The green sprinkler system is a unique solution
which attempts to solve both problems.
• It conserves water and at the same time
maintains green lawns

Divert Drainwater from home

into an underground tank
Drainwater is then pumped out of the existing
sprinkler system into the lawn

• Average customer in Austin spends $200 per
month in water and 60 dollars in waste water per
month. Most of it is used for lawn watering
• This amounts to $3120 per year
• Sprinkler system would cost about $5000 to
install (including labor)
