Rectifier Module Failure/Battery Fuse & High Temperature Alarm would be declared as Major/Critical Alarms
The float voltage setting is for terminal voltage at the battery terminals. Potential drop between rectifier output
terminals and battery terminals (Cable loss) varies from site to site and cannot be standardized as fixed value so it
must be checked at time of battery installation or for existing batteries in the network and adjusted in float voltage
setting accordingly to avoid impact on battery charging.
There can be rectifierspecific configurations forbatterycharging, for example, For ZTE SF01 Rectifier, Configuration
of 600AH battery bank will be done in software as 2x300AH battery banks to limit current on 2 branches (to 90A)
of 35mm cables installed. Such Configurations will be dealt on case to case basis and NP will support for provision
of such rectifier specific settings.
Notes:-
** Region can modify the settings based on actual site scenario for high revenue (Platinum /
Gold) sites and critical Hub sites and can set %DoD up to 100% based on sites scenario.
However, no battery bank will be allocated to any site within 03 years of battery bank
installation.
For any additional configurations needed or change in design, NP will be responsible to
provide the standard configurations to all the stake holders.
