When choosing the best sealer for you application, you have to answer the following questions:
1. Why do you want to seal your concrete floor?
2. What do you intend on doing with your concrete floor?
2. When using a Foundation Armor sealer on broom
finished concrete, you can choose between the
Armor S2000 sealer or the Armor L3000 sealer.
Because broom finished concrete will leave the
concrete with a rough surface, the application
instructions need to be modified to prevent over
application.
3. When choosing the best sealer for you
application, you have to answer the following
questions:
1. Why do you want to seal your concrete floor?
2. What do you intend on doing with your concrete
floor?
4. If your concrete floor has water or moisture
issues or if you plan on covering the concrete
with flooring (tile, wood, carpet, paint), you
want to use the Armor S2000 sealer.
If your concrete floor will be exposed or
polished and the floor has a greater need for
chemical resistance and densification, you want
to use the Armor L3000 sealer.
5. Regardless of which sealer you choose, you want
to break up the application. With the S2000, you
want to provide 24 hours between coats instead
of the suggested 30-45 minutes. If the concrete
has water or moisture issues, a third coat may
be required. With the L3000, you want to apply
a light coat followed by a second light coat 6+
hours later.
