Chuck E Cheese Creative Brief
- 1. Client: Chuck E. Cheese Date: 7-13-11
Project: Brand campaign
Job Number: 4
WHY ARE WE ADVERTISING?
With video games and cable TV, kids are losing interest in the old arcade-style places. Additionally, Chuck E.
Cheese has lost a lot of their cool factor, with places like GameWorks popping up all over.
WHAT IS THE ADVERTISING TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH?
To convince kids that Chuck E. Cheese is still a fun place to go.
WHO ARE WE TALKING TO?
Boys and girls ages 8 to 11. We can’t alienate the parents with the advertising, but at this age, kids are smart
enough to select their own entertainment destinations.
WHAT IS THE ONE MAIN POINT WE’RE TRYING TO GET ACROSS?
Convince kids that Chuck E. Cheese is a great place to go.
WHAT ARE THE REASONS TO BELIEVE THIS?
Chuck E. Cheese does have a lot of new, hard-to-find games. While not as hip as a GameWorks, it does cater only
to kids, so they don’t have to worry about fighting teens and adults for game time. And since it’s a pizza place with
entertainment as well, it’s more of a destination than GameWorks.
