Adult Living Industry: Evaluation
During project planning, the process of evaluation is used to
analyze the project and determine whether the set objectives for
the project during the initialization stage have been met. The
project evaluation steps are therefore undertaken systematically
to ensure that the outcome and the changes that a project was
supposed to effect took place effectively. This paper is meant to
discuss the methods that were used to collect the outcome data,
the ways of measuring the outcome of the project, the reliability
and validity of the evidence based methodology/framework the
strategies and the implications regarding further research.
Each evaluation processes requires an effective data collection
method. The procedure for choosing such data methods depends
greatly on what the researcher wants to achieve. The method of
data collection can also depend on the method of data collection
that the user wants to utilize for instance if they are primary or
secondary data. Other options include mixing both methods of
data collection to overcome the weaknesses associated with
using each of the methods independently. The rationale that
affects the method picked include;
The stage in which the evaluation is taking place and if the data
sources are independent or dependent on each other.
Additionally, if the data is qualitative or quantitative and
weather, the evaluation design is single level or multi-level.
Project outcomes are results of a project that can be measured
and analyzed after the completion of a project. However, the
objectives of a project can be tested if they have met a objective
by use of impacts. These include the long-term effects of the
completion of a project. These include;
Availability of new skills and experiences that are gained by the
Adult living facilities i.e. nursing homes and hospitals. The
project can be stated to be successful when it has achieved the
desired goal, i.e. the adult living project was meant to ensure
adult living. New skills and competencies obtained by personnel
better investment decisions. Other outcome measures that can
be used to evaluate the extend which the objectives have been
met include; improved knowledge and empowerment to the staff
and members of the community regarding the issues raised,
increased understanding of the operations of the adult living
community and increased participation, will and desire to make
the community a better place (Peersman,2014).
The outcomes of a project can be measured and evaluated based
on the evidence of the activities that are achieved at the end of
the project. The indicators of change can be viewed evidently
upon the completion of the project. The outcomes can be
evaluated based on the validity reliability and the applicability
by basis of the outcomes, which are the auditable changes that
take place in a project. Some examples of the evidence based
outcomes include; the improved quality of services at the adult
living community, few incidences about the misuse of funds and
increased productivity of the hospitals and the nursing homes
personnel (Peersman,2014).
Sometimes the objectives and the goals of a project may not be
achieved. Therefore, strategies may be developed to ensure the
project outcomes are achieved. These include the adoption of
other change models, reshuffling of staff in the adult living
facilities, performing audits to know where the root cause is
situated and changing of issues.
Evaluating a project is meant to asses if the project met its
outcomes, objectives and the desired results. The results of an
evaluation can be seen from the assessment of outcomes and the
impacts. The results of an evaluation can indicate that a method
was successful or not. Therefore, the evaluation determines
ways in which a practice will continue operating and the
research gaps that can be included in future research
(Peersman,2014).

The Mmission of the Adult Living Industry
This industry entails many institutions which offer services to
the senior in Americainstitutions, which offer services to the
senior in America, and every institution in this industry has a
mission towards which they work towards. work. For instance,
the capital seniors living industry has got a well-established
mission whereby the company works towards ensuring quality
housing and services to its customers (Capital Senior Living,
2018). Also, the capital senior living steers its customers
towards participation in different activities and programs that
the institution offers. Actually, the mission of every institution
in this industry aims at bettering the life of the senior people
through ensuring that their health and psychological status are
taken care of. Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. This
section should clearly Identify the stakeholders/change agents.

from, or are affected by this proposal. List the interested
parties, patients, students, agencies, Joint Commission, etc.
Keep up the good effort.
Services Offered by the Adult Living Industry
This industry ensures that adults with disabilities are well taken
care of. It ensures adequate operation of the institutions and the
management of their activities in conducting their activities
(Sunrise Senior Living 2018). This industry offers services like
enrichment in life for the adults, residence programs and
temporal accommodation of different lifestyles. Also, services
like daily meals, transportation, security and supervision, social
programs, laundry services, and even medical services are also
offered to the adults in this industry. In addition, this industry
ensures that the adults have access to consultation and
management services to the different institutions and their
investors and operators who support them are able to make
appropriate decisions that will enable the industry at large to
attain their set objectives. The industry has got numerous
trained and qualified personnel who know how to handle and

Market and Revenue for the Adult Living Industry
The adult living industry is well spread in America with more
than one million adult people enrolled in this program. It is also
evident that this population may increaserise twice as much by
the year 2030 due to the continuous increase in the number of
adults enrolled in this program every year (Ortiz, 2017). Given
that the American government has placed minimal restrictions
for individuals who want to join this business, there are
therefore a large number of institutions and investors
conducting this program. It is also evident from research that
the adult women are more than the male who are being enrolled
in this industry. On the other hand, given that the American
government has placed little restrictions towards this program;
many institutions conducting these programs just require
licensing and less non-profitable structures and other basic
facilities which enable them to make a lot of profit in this
industry (Ortiz, 2017). These facilities are also offered I
accordance to the income level of the adult individuals and their
families and hence they enable both the low social status and
the higher social status personnel to afford these services more
conveniently. This enables them to earn a lot of revenue. Also,
these revenues accrued are mainly spent in the maintenance and
management of the housing and service provision to the
members of this industry and the society at large.Comment by
Rozlyn Zuber: The purpose is clearly stated. However, the
project objectives in specific, realistic, and measurable terms
are not fully describes. The objective should address what is to
be gained. This is a restatement of the question, providing
focus. Measurements need to be taken before and after the
evidence-based practice is introduced to identify the expected
changes. Keep up the good effort.
Challenges
Despite this industry working towards the betterment of the life
of the adults and offering adequate services to the adults, some
challenges like the mental illness and other impaired diseases
really hinder the provision of these services (Culo, 2011). This
is because these elderly are very vulnerable to many diseases
and other issues hence this industry takes a great risk in
disseminating its services.
Conclusion
Services offered by the adult living industry are very crucial to
a country in terms of taking care of the elderly given that they
cannot take care of themselves. The program is available since
there are many elderly individuals and those who have retired
who seek to enjoy these services. Due to the available resource
and an increase in the number of the adults, the demand for
these services has greatly increased. This is advantageous even
for the nursing and medical practitioners who take care of the
elderly in America since these services enable to easily take
care of the elderly in a more appropriate manner. The adult
living industry is very important to the adults, those retiring and
those with disabilities in America.

IntroductionComment by Rozlyn Zuber:
The senior citizens are time consuming and if given much
attention and can slow economic growth and as such the
introduction of living homes for the aged is a brilliant idea in an
effort to cut down costs and the labor needed in their nursing,
proposed introduction of robots and high end technology which
is evidently needed in aspects of feeding them, exercise and
general therapy, timely routines among other chores (Melnyk,
2011). This proposed initiative can work well for a large
population needing the nursing of diverse age from 55years
crossa large population needing the nursing of diverse age from
55years crosses gender and it is not discriminative of ethnicity
or patient’s disorders. Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Thesis
statement should be clear and specific to inform the reader the
purpose of the paper. Keep up the good effort.
With this kind of program the intervention will be felt as the
aged will feel more cared and will timely get attention plus less
labor required more so less exposed to diseases.Comment by
Rozlyn Zuber: Please use APA 6th writing composition and
proper formatting.
Comparing to the normal nursing of the elderly a lot of labor is
required plus risk of spread of diseases and not forgetting the
delays in service delivery.
The initiative will result a bag full of positive outcomes that
with no time be embraced by all.
Noting this is a sophisticated technology it can gradually be
introduced to avoid cases of rejection and eventually take less
time for the absorption.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: This section
should clearly describe the proposed solution (or intervention)
for the problem and the way(s) in which it is consistent with
current evidence. Heavily reference and provide substantial
evidence for your solution or intervention. Keep up the good
effort.
Organization Culture
The organization culture is well versed with a need to provide a
home to the aged where they can be cared, nurtured, fed,
treated, given therapy and loved. puttingPutting this in line with
the culture introduction on proposed use of robotics and
technology to replace human labor and increase service delivery
will not only reduce the costs but will go in a long way in
cementing the organization culture and creation of an enabling
environment where elderly can feel home away from
home.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. This section
should fully explain the way(s) in which the proposed solution
is consistent with the organization or community culture and
resources. Keep up the good effort.
Expected Outcomes
The proposal is aimed at bringing a basket full of outcomes a
breakdown of some of these includes the following; increased
nurturing to a big population of the aged who need regular
attention due to their advanced age. Reduced cost resulting to
over reliance on human labor whichlabor, which at times is
expensive or less in the labor market. Another milestone will be
reduced exposure to diseases that at times pose a great
challenge to both the nursing personnel and the aged as they
interact (Melnyk, 2011). Another foreseen outcome will be
creation of a comfortable home where the aged will be
contented in staying considering they are away from their
respective homes. It is also key to note time used will also be
reduced in a big magnitude. A summation of this outcome will
encourage more to join the elderly homes reducing the burden
from their relatives hence resulting to tremendous economic
growth.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Please revise with proper
wording. Keep up the good effort.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber:
Please revise fragmented sentence. Keep up the good

outcomes of the project are described, but does fully
demonstrate the flow with the PICOT.
Method to Achieve Outcomes
With this noble proposal at hand training of personnel and
creation of awareness serves the first priority .Afterpriority.
After training induction follows and gradually the program is
introduced to select few then applying to the rest simultaneous
with the willing first on the list as there will be resistance from
some aged in the population. At the end the results will brand
the initiative as a necessary measure to be employed in the
institution.
There is expected resistance from some aged who still have an
attachment to human nursing this will be addressed by first
introducing to the willing members only so that with the
perceived results will help the resisting gain trust of the
proposal plusproposal plus increased awareness creation will
result to acceptance of the new initiative.Comment by Rozlyn
Zuber: Good effort. This section should fully demonstrate
efforts to develop an outline of how the outcomes will be
achieved. List any specific barriers that will need to be assessed
and eliminated. Make sure to mention any assumptions or
limitations which may need to be addressed. Please support your
writings with scholarly sources. Keep up the good effort.
Outcome Impact
One of the greatest targeted impact outcomes of this initiative is
quality care improvement as this technology is highly designed
to provide efficient and admirable nursing care that is above the
current standards (Melnyk, 2011). Secondly this technology is
free of patient biasness hence resulting to treating all with one
common agenda of providing them with quality nursing. ,
Tthirdly, human services at times are subjective and unreliable
thus this will effectively eliminate the room for aged
negligence. In In a nutshell there, there will a paradigm shift
resulting to increased professional expertise involvement
resulting to better nursing services to the patients.Comment by
Rozlyn Zuber: Great description of outcome impact as it
enhances quality care improvement

Access to potential subjects
The proposed use of robotics to provide services in care homes
for the elderly will reduce dependency, create an economic
stimulus and maintain disciplined routine service delivery.
However, the approval and willful, informed consent of the
target group is required and will be sought. This shall involve
the use of consent forms which will be duly signed by the
willing recipients of the services. Consent and expression of
will by the participants shall follow heavy education and
familiarization of what is involved in the use of Artificial
intelligence as a replacement for human sourced services.
Project life and Recourse needs
The enrollment and implementation of this project is expected
to take a time period of around 4-6 months and will be broken
down into stages/phases. Each of these phases will be allocated
time within which it will be expected to materialize.
The proposed use of robots for care provision will be capital-
intensive in recourse requirement for its fruition. Heavy capital
investment will be needed to support the project till full
implementation. The project also requires investing in skilled,
trained, professional handlers and technical operators. The
implementation will require the installation of a control center
where all instructions and monitoring of the robots will be
facilitated. Implementation will involve total re-organization
and restructuring of the residence to accommodate changes
resultant of the intervention. There will be need for high level
time awareness to prevent commotions and promote orderliness.
Monitoring and Data Management Planning
To maintain grip and adherence to timelines, budgets and other
constraining aspects, it will be paramount that close monitoring
and evaluation be carried out (Guo-li, 2010). The project will
utilize tools such as questionnaires targeting recipients of the
particular services in the care homes. Feedback acquired will be
used to evaluate their effectiveness and suitability in care
services provision. Schedule alerts will also be utilized as a
monitoring tool. It will outline all the upcoming tasks, delayed
tasks and any changes to the schedule that could affect the
implementation process.
The implementation process will occur in phases and in a
structured and gradual process instead of an overnight
transformation. Gradual implementation while maintaining close
monitoring and reevaluations as necessary will be ensured. This
change and adoption of the high level technological utilities
will create the need for high skill sets and knowledge in their
handling. Therefore, the care facility will invest majorly in the
training of staff and in hiring of conversant technicians and
operators. Data handling and processing will be a key success
factor of the project. Data will therefore be collected, analyzed,
interpreted using high end and appropriate means. A data
collection plan will be utilized and will comprise of information
such as
Item of measure (delivery time, effectiveness, timeliness)
Data type (discrete or continuous)
Operational definition detailing the items of measure
Sample and population (whether data will be sourced from a
small number as a representative of the population or from each
and every robotic utility)
Responsibility levels (defining who is responsible for the
particular data collection, analysis and interpretation and by
what means e.g. filling a check sheet etc.)
Baseline/ benchmark (will provide the expected outcome to aid
in comparison with the actual outcome)
Data collected using this process will be handled specifically by
technical consultant conversant with the particular technology
and data management. The project will utilize customized sheets
that will provide for date, process time, activity etc. This data
will be analyzed and constructive inferences presented through
visual aids such as graphs and pie charts.
Barrier management and Budgeting
Resistance, technology gap and recourse inadequacy will
present as challenges and barriers to the project. Strategies to
counter such barriers include member participation, information
communication, training and education and budgeting.
Financial feasibility of the project will entail:
Personnel costs, Computer related and other costs -a cost
estimate will be established for each and their sensitivity to the
project plan examined. This entails specific costs such as
librarian consultation, hiring, outsourcing skills, database
access and maintenance etc.
Organizational and technological capability - This feasibility
evaluation will focus on the care homes ability and suitability
of the adoption of the particular project, its endowment in skill,
tech-readiness, financial benefits and expenses expected and
compatibility both financially and technologically.
A budget will be developed to check on costs and restrain
operations within budgetary provisions. It will include:
- An outline of all funding and sources
- An outline of all spending plan
· All expenses grouped under category and period of
estimation e.g. yearly.
Continuous evaluation will be maintained upon implementation.
Feedback will be encouraged and analysis of actual against
expected performance established. This data will form the basis
upon which to disband the project, continue, expand or switch
strategies depending on performance.

Adult Living Industry Change Model
Adult living industry is a hospital that is concerned with the
health of the adult citizens of the United States of America who
are above the age of 55 years. To achieve this, we have to
choose an evidence-based framework that will assist in
implementing change in the health care sector and assist the
adult care industry in making better decisions in investment.
The EBP framework has seven phases that should be followed to
completion.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Great effort! You are on
the right track with your introduction and thesis statement. You
want to be sure your thesis statement is specific and state what
the topic of your paper. Keep up the good work.
Develop an issue statement
Developing a problem statement is the first step of
implementing change, policies and better investment decisions
in the adult living industry. During this step, the team
concerned should issue a problem statement stating a particular
issue that the entire adult living community is facing and all the
relevant details. In this case, the issue is ensuring proper
investment of the funds in the industry. The issue stated during
this phase may be amended during the other phases of the EPB
change model (Chorpita et al, 2005).
Quantifying the problem
During this phase, the issue that was stated in phase one is
analyzed. The results should show the severity of the issue. The
person concerned should be aware of the problem that people in
the adult living community are encountering and thus be able to
determine how far the issue has affected the people. The
quantification of the issue i.e. whether the investment problem
is severe or not, can also be amended later in the
implementation phases (Chorpita et al, 2005).
Study the scientific literature published about the matter
During this phase, the relevant committee or personnel will go
through the scientific literature. These may include the law
books, journals and other publications that were written and
published by experienced people about the investment issue that
is identified to be affecting the adult living community. In some
cases, other researchers might have solved the problem. The
researcher should focus on studying the literature published
about health communities that were having investment issues in
the past and the actions that were taken to solve the matter. This
will guide in the next steps of implementing change (Chorpita et
al, 2005).
Develop program options
The committee or personnel involved should then analyze the
information collected from the scientific literature to see the
program options that are available for solving the issue and
assign them priorities (Chorpita et al, 2005).
Developing an action plan for better investment in the adult
living community
During this phase, the issue has been fully analyzed and
therefore an action plan for solving the issue and achieving the
desired results is put in action. The last two phases of the
framework are also planned for in this phase (Chorpita et al,
2005).
Evaluation of the action plan
During this phase, the actions taken during the previous phase
“the action plan” are analyzed. The output of the action plan is
evaluated to determine whether the actions taken to act against
the issue were effective. If the team involved has achieved their
desired objectives, they can move to the next phase for
disseminating the results. However, if the goals and objectives
have not yet been achieved, amendments are made to the action
plan to ensure the objectives are met (Chorpita et al, 2005).
Disseminate the result and findings
The final step of implementing change using the EPB
framework is the dissemination of results. During this phase,
the desired goal has been achieved and therefore the team
involved can share their results to the public health bodies and
the public. The team can publish books and journals that will
assist other people having the same problem in the community
when they will be reviewing the literature (Chorpita et al,
2005).

Description of the Research Methods for this Study
From all the research articles that were used to come up with
this paper, it is evident that from them all, the mission,
services, risk analysis and housing activities are carried out
towards the senior adults in America who have been enrolled in
the adult living industry programs and services. For the
respective literature reviews, the senior people above the age of
55 years old and who have been enrolled in the Adult Living
Industry program were allowed to participate in the research as
long as they willing to participate. The senior adults not
enrolled in this program were not allowed take part in this
research. Also, the adults who were enrolled and were mentally
ill were not allowed to take part. The research results that were

them to make a lot of profit in this industry (Ortiz, 2017). These
facilities are also offered I accordance to the income level of
the adult individuals and their families and hence they enable
both the low social status and the higher social status personnel
to afford these services more conveniently. This enables them to
earn a lot of revenue. Also, these revenues accrued are mainly
spent in the maintenance and management of the housing and
service provision to the members of this industry and the
society at large.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. The
summarization of all of the research studies used as evidence is
not fully described. The essential components of each study
need to be described so that readers can evaluate its scientific
merit, including study strengths and limitations. Keep up the
good effort.
Strengths and Limitations of this Study
For this literature review, we can ascertain that the adult living
industry program is very important in taking care of the adult
people and the disabled who need full care and attention. The
programs from the various institutions in the industry are
offered in through quality and adequate manner an issue
whichthat has enabled both the rich and the poor to enroll for
these programs.

Narrative Summary
Hi, Good effort for Week 3! I can tell you enjoyed this
assignment. You included some relevant information. I left
comments along the right side of the paper. You have minor
APA formatting updates to make for your next assignment.
There is a template and APA writing tips for writing papers
posted in Add-Ons under Resources, as well as the Student
Success Center. These additional resources can help you with
APA writing and formatting.
As a gentle reminder, you did not fully address the requirements
of this assignment. Please see below:
Write a narrative of 750-1,000 words (not including the title
page and references) that presents the research support for the
project's problem and proposed solution. Make sure to include:
1. Description of the search method (i.e., databases, keywords,
criteria for inclusion and exclusion, and number of studies that
fit your criteria).
2. Summarization of all of the research studies used as
evidence. The essential components of each study need to be
described so that readers can evaluate its scientific merit,
including study strengths and limitations.
3. Description of the validity of the internal and external
research.

Does not demonstrate knowledge of the concept or its role. Fails
to identify the impact of the proposal in practice.
Demonstrates minimal knowledge of the subject. Does not
adequately introduce the proposal. Does not justify the impact
of the proposal in practice.
Demonstrates a moderate knowledge of the subject. Introduces
the basic outline of the proposal. Does not fully describe the
impact of the proposal in practice.
Demonstrates good knowledge of the subject. Describes the

30.0 %Content
The content lacks a clear point of view and logical sequence of
information. Includes little persuasive information. Sequencing
of ideas is unclear.
The content is vague in conveying a point of view and does not
create a strong sense of purpose. Includes some persuasive
information.
The presentation is generally competent, but ideas may show
some inconsistency in organization and/or in their relationships
to each other.
The content is written with a logical progression of ideas and
supporting information, exhibiting a unity, coherence, and
cohesiveness. Includes persuasive information from reliable
sources.
The content is written clearly and concisely. Ideas universally
progress and relate to each other. The presentation includes
motivating questions and advanced organizers. The presentation
gives the audience a clear sense of the main idea.
10.0 %Presentation
10.0 %Layout
The layout is cluttered, confusing, and does not use spacing,
headings, and subheadings to enhance the readability. The text
is extremely difficult to read with long blocks of text, small
point size for fonts, and inappropriate contrasting colors. Poor
use of headings, subheadings, indentations, or bold formatting
is evident.
The layout shows some structure, but appears cluttered and busy
or distracting with large gaps of white space or a distracting
background. Overall readability is difficult due to lengthy
paragraphs, too many different fonts, dark or busy background,
overuse of bold, or lack of appropriate indentations of text.
The layout uses horizontal and vertical white space
appropriately. Sometimes the fonts are easy to read, but in a few
places the use of fonts, italics, bold, long paragraphs, color, or
busy background detracts and does not enhance readability.
The layout background and text complement each other and
enable the content to be easily read. The fonts are easy to read
and point size varies appropriately for headings and text.
The layout is visually pleasing and contributes to the overall
message with appropriate use of headings, subheadings, and
white space. Text is appropriate in length for the target
audience and to the point. The background and colors enhance
the readability of the text.
20.0 %Format
10.0 %Language Use and Audience Awareness (includes
sentence construction, word choice, etc.)
Inappropriate word choice and lack of variety in language use
are evident. Writer appears to be unaware of audience. Use of
primer prose indicates writer either does not apply figures of
speech or uses them inappropriately.
Some distracting inconsistencies in language choice (register)
and/or word choice are present. The writer exhibits some lack of
control in using figures of speech appropriately.
Language is appropriate to the targeted audience for the most
part.
The writer is clearly aware of audience, uses a variety of
appropriate vocabulary for the targeted audience, and uses
figures of speech to communicate clearly.
The writer uses a variety of sentence constructions, figures of
speech, and word choice in distinctive and creative ways that
are appropriate to purpose, discipline, and scope.
5.0 %Mechanics of Writing (includes spelling, punctuation,
grammar, language use)
Slide errors are pervasive enough that they impede
communication of meaning.
Frequent and repetitive mechanical errors distract the reader.
Some mechanical errors or typos are present, but are not overly
distracting to the reader.
Slides are largely free of mechanical errors, although a few may
be present.
Writer is clearly in control of standard, written academic
English.
5.0 %Evaluating and Documenting Sources (in-text citations for
paraphrasing and direct quotes, references page listing and
formatting, as appropriate to assignment and style)
Contains no title slide, no references section, and no correctly
cited references within the body of the presentation.
Title slide is incomplete or inaccurate. References section
includes sources, but many citation errors. Citations are
included within the body of the presentation but with many
errors.
Title slide has minor errors. References section includes
sources, but they are not consistently cited correctly. Citations
are included within the body of the presentation but with some
errors.
Title slide is complete. References section includes correctly
cited sources with minimal errors. Correct citations are included
within the body of the presentation.
Title slide is complete. References section includes correctly
cited sources. Correct citations are included within the body of
the presentation.

Running head Evaluation 1Evaluation2Adult L.docx

  • 1. Running head: Evaluation 1 Evaluation2 Adult Living Industry: Evaluation Grand Canyon University: HCA-699 June 12, 2018 Adult Living Industry: Evaluation During project planning, the process of evaluation is used to analyze the project and determine whether the set objectives for the project during the initialization stage have been met. The project evaluation steps are therefore undertaken systematically to ensure that the outcome and the changes that a project was supposed to effect took place effectively. This paper is meant to discuss the methods that were used to collect the outcome data, the ways of measuring the outcome of the project, the reliability and validity of the evidence based methodology/framework the strategies and the implications regarding further research. Each evaluation processes requires an effective data collection method. The procedure for choosing such data methods depends greatly on what the researcher wants to achieve. The method of data collection can also depend on the method of data collection that the user wants to utilize for instance if they are primary or secondary data. Other options include mixing both methods of data collection to overcome the weaknesses associated with using each of the methods independently. The rationale that affects the method picked include; The stage in which the evaluation is taking place and if the data
  • 2. sources are independent or dependent on each other. Additionally, if the data is qualitative or quantitative and weather, the evaluation design is single level or multi-level. Project outcomes are results of a project that can be measured and analyzed after the completion of a project. However, the objectives of a project can be tested if they have met a objective by use of impacts. These include the long-term effects of the completion of a project. These include; Availability of new skills and experiences that are gained by the Adult living facilities i.e. nursing homes and hospitals. The project can be stated to be successful when it has achieved the desired goal, i.e. the adult living project was meant to ensure adult living. New skills and competencies obtained by personnel better investment decisions. Other outcome measures that can be used to evaluate the extend which the objectives have been met include; improved knowledge and empowerment to the staff and members of the community regarding the issues raised, increased understanding of the operations of the adult living community and increased participation, will and desire to make the community a better place (Peersman,2014). The outcomes of a project can be measured and evaluated based on the evidence of the activities that are achieved at the end of the project. The indicators of change can be viewed evidently upon the completion of the project. The outcomes can be evaluated based on the validity reliability and the applicability by basis of the outcomes, which are the auditable changes that take place in a project. Some examples of the evidence based outcomes include; the improved quality of services at the adult living community, few incidences about the misuse of funds and increased productivity of the hospitals and the nursing homes personnel (Peersman,2014). Sometimes the objectives and the goals of a project may not be achieved. Therefore, strategies may be developed to ensure the project outcomes are achieved. These include the adoption of other change models, reshuffling of staff in the adult living facilities, performing audits to know where the root cause is
  • 3. situated and changing of issues. Evaluating a project is meant to asses if the project met its outcomes, objectives and the desired results. The results of an evaluation can be seen from the assessment of outcomes and the impacts. The results of an evaluation can indicate that a method was successful or not. Therefore, the evaluation determines ways in which a practice will continue operating and the research gaps that can be included in future research (Peersman,2014). Reference Peersman, G. (2014). Please use APA 6th edition for academic composition and refer to Student Success Center or ADD-ONS for additional assistance. Adult living industry basically deals with taking care of senior people in the American society who are above 55 years. This industry entails many institutions that offer their services and they include; seniors housing and care industry of the national investment, the ageing research alliance, and the American Federation of assisted living and the housing association for the American seniors among others. These institutions perform different tasks in the adult living industry. For instance, the seniors housing and care industry of the national investment ensures that the American seniors’ housing and care needs are met. This industry's main objective is to ensure that the quality of living for the adults is enhanced through the making of the right decisions on matters concerning investments. Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: You are on the right track with your introduction and thesis statement. You want to be sure your thesis statement is specific and state what the topic of your paper. The Mmission of the Adult Living Industry This industry entails many institutions which offer services to the senior in Americainstitutions, which offer services to the senior in America, and every institution in this industry has a mission towards which they work towards. work. For instance, the capital seniors living industry has got a well-established mission whereby the company works towards ensuring quality housing and services to its customers (Capital Senior Living,
  • 5. 2018). Also, the capital senior living steers its customers towards participation in different activities and programs that the institution offers. Actually, the mission of every institution in this industry aims at bettering the life of the senior people through ensuring that their health and psychological status are taken care of. Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. This section should clearly Identify the stakeholders/change agents. Who or what organizations are concerned about, may benefit from, or are affected by this proposal. List the interested parties, patients, students, agencies, Joint Commission, etc. Keep up the good effort. Services Offered by the Adult Living Industry This industry ensures that adults with disabilities are well taken care of. It ensures adequate operation of the institutions and the management of their activities in conducting their activities (Sunrise Senior Living 2018). This industry offers services like enrichment in life for the adults, residence programs and temporal accommodation of different lifestyles. Also, services like daily meals, transportation, security and supervision, social programs, laundry services, and even medical services are also offered to the adults in this industry. In addition, this industry ensures that the adults have access to consultation and management services to the different institutions and their investors and operators who support them are able to make appropriate decisions that will enable the industry at large to attain their set objectives. The industry has got numerous trained and qualified personnel who know how to handle and deal with the old and handle those with disabilities. Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: The PICOT (PICOT: Population-Intervention- Comparison-Outcome-Timeframe)question is missing or not clear. Please revise according to the PICOT. Keep up the good effort. Market and Revenue for the Adult Living Industry The adult living industry is well spread in America with more
  • 6. than one million adult people enrolled in this program. It is also evident that this population may increaserise twice as much by the year 2030 due to the continuous increase in the number of adults enrolled in this program every year (Ortiz, 2017). Given that the American government has placed minimal restrictions for individuals who want to join this business, there are therefore a large number of institutions and investors conducting this program. It is also evident from research that the adult women are more than the male who are being enrolled in this industry. On the other hand, given that the American government has placed little restrictions towards this program; many institutions conducting these programs just require licensing and less non-profitable structures and other basic facilities which enable them to make a lot of profit in this industry (Ortiz, 2017). These facilities are also offered I accordance to the income level of the adult individuals and their families and hence they enable both the low social status and the higher social status personnel to afford these services more conveniently. This enables them to earn a lot of revenue. Also, these revenues accrued are mainly spent in the maintenance and management of the housing and service provision to the members of this industry and the society at large.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: The purpose is clearly stated. However, the project objectives in specific, realistic, and measurable terms are not fully describes. The objective should address what is to be gained. This is a restatement of the question, providing focus. Measurements need to be taken before and after the evidence-based practice is introduced to identify the expected changes. Keep up the good effort. Challenges Despite this industry working towards the betterment of the life of the adults and offering adequate services to the adults, some challenges like the mental illness and other impaired diseases really hinder the provision of these services (Culo, 2011). This is because these elderly are very vulnerable to many diseases and other issues hence this industry takes a great risk in
  • 7. disseminating its services. Conclusion Services offered by the adult living industry are very crucial to a country in terms of taking care of the elderly given that they cannot take care of themselves. The program is available since there are many elderly individuals and those who have retired who seek to enjoy these services. Due to the available resource and an increase in the number of the adults, the demand for these services has greatly increased. This is advantageous even for the nursing and medical practitioners who take care of the elderly in America since these services enable to easily take care of the elderly in a more appropriate manner. The adult living industry is very important to the adults, those retiring and those with disabilities in America. ReferencesComment by Rozlyn Zuber: Great effort. • 9. IntroductionComment by Rozlyn Zuber: The senior citizens are time consuming and if given much attention and can slow economic growth and as such the introduction of living homes for the aged is a brilliant idea in an effort to cut down costs and the labor needed in their nursing, proposed introduction of robots and high end technology which is evidently needed in aspects of feeding them, exercise and general therapy, timely routines among other chores (Melnyk, 2011). This proposed initiative can work well for a large population needing the nursing of diverse age from 55years crossa large population needing the nursing of diverse age from 55years crosses gender and it is not discriminative of ethnicity or patient’s disorders. Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Thesis statement should be clear and specific to inform the reader the purpose of the paper. Keep up the good effort. With this kind of program the intervention will be felt as the aged will feel more cared and will timely get attention plus less labor required more so less exposed to diseases.Comment by
  • 10. Rozlyn Zuber: Please use APA 6th writing composition and proper formatting. Comparing to the normal nursing of the elderly a lot of labor is required plus risk of spread of diseases and not forgetting the delays in service delivery. The initiative will result a bag full of positive outcomes that with no time be embraced by all. Noting this is a sophisticated technology it can gradually be introduced to avoid cases of rejection and eventually take less time for the absorption.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: This section should clearly describe the proposed solution (or intervention) for the problem and the way(s) in which it is consistent with current evidence. Heavily reference and provide substantial evidence for your solution or intervention. Keep up the good effort. Organization Culture The organization culture is well versed with a need to provide a home to the aged where they can be cared, nurtured, fed, treated, given therapy and loved. puttingPutting this in line with the culture introduction on proposed use of robotics and technology to replace human labor and increase service delivery will not only reduce the costs but will go in a long way in cementing the organization culture and creation of an enabling environment where elderly can feel home away from home.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. This section
  • 11. should fully explain the way(s) in which the proposed solution is consistent with the organization or community culture and resources. Keep up the good effort. Expected Outcomes The proposal is aimed at bringing a basket full of outcomes a breakdown of some of these includes the following; increased nurturing to a big population of the aged who need regular attention due to their advanced age. Reduced cost resulting to over reliance on human labor whichlabor, which at times is expensive or less in the labor market. Another milestone will be reduced exposure to diseases that at times pose a great challenge to both the nursing personnel and the aged as they interact (Melnyk, 2011). Another foreseen outcome will be creation of a comfortable home where the aged will be contented in staying considering they are away from their respective homes. It is also key to note time used will also be reduced in a big magnitude. A summation of this outcome will encourage more to join the elderly homes reducing the burden from their relatives hence resulting to tremendous economic growth.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Please revise with proper wording. Keep up the good effort.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Please revise fragmented sentence. Keep up the good effort.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. The expected outcomes of the project are described, but does fully demonstrate the flow with the PICOT.

After training induction follows and gradually the program is introduced to select few then applying to the rest simultaneous with the willing first on the list as there will be resistance from some aged in the population. At the end the results will brand the initiative as a necessary measure to be employed in the institution. There is expected resistance from some aged who still have an attachment to human nursing this will be addressed by first introducing to the willing members only so that with the perceived results will help the resisting gain trust of the proposal plusproposal plus increased awareness creation will result to acceptance of the new initiative.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. This section should fully demonstrate efforts to develop an outline of how the outcomes will be achieved. List any specific barriers that will need to be assessed and eliminated. Make sure to mention any assumptions or limitations which may need to be addressed. Please support your writings with scholarly sources. Keep up the good effort. Outcome Impact One of the greatest targeted impact outcomes of this initiative is quality care improvement as this technology is highly designed to provide efficient and admirable nursing care that is above the
  • 13. current standards (Melnyk, 2011). Secondly this technology is free of patient biasness hence resulting to treating all with one common agenda of providing them with quality nursing. , Tthirdly, human services at times are subjective and unreliable thus this will effectively eliminate the room for aged negligence. In In a nutshell there, there will a paradigm shift resulting to increased professional expertise involvement resulting to better nursing services to the patients.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Great description of outcome impact as it enhances quality care improvement ReferencesComment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. • 15. Implementation Plan Kendra Smith Grand Canyon University: HCA 699 June 6, 2018Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Great title page. Restate Title Here. Access to potential subjects The proposed use of robotics to provide services in care homes for the elderly will reduce dependency, create an economic stimulus and maintain disciplined routine service delivery. However, the approval and willful, informed consent of the target group is required and will be sought. This shall involve
  • 16. the use of consent forms which will be duly signed by the willing recipients of the services. Consent and expression of will by the participants shall follow heavy education and familiarization of what is involved in the use of Artificial intelligence as a replacement for human sourced services. Project life and Recourse needs The enrollment and implementation of this project is expected to take a time period of around 4-6 months and will be broken down into stages/phases. Each of these phases will be allocated time within which it will be expected to materialize. The proposed use of robots for care provision will be capital- intensive in recourse requirement for its fruition. Heavy capital investment will be needed to support the project till full implementation. The project also requires investing in skilled, trained, professional handlers and technical operators. The implementation will require the installation of a control center where all instructions and monitoring of the robots will be facilitated. Implementation will involve total re-organization and restructuring of the residence to accommodate changes resultant of the intervention. There will be need for high level time awareness to prevent commotions and promote orderliness. Monitoring and Data Management Planning To maintain grip and adherence to timelines, budgets and other
  • 17. constraining aspects, it will be paramount that close monitoring and evaluation be carried out (Guo-li, 2010). The project will utilize tools such as questionnaires targeting recipients of the particular services in the care homes. Feedback acquired will be used to evaluate their effectiveness and suitability in care services provision. Schedule alerts will also be utilized as a monitoring tool. It will outline all the upcoming tasks, delayed tasks and any changes to the schedule that could affect the implementation process. The implementation process will occur in phases and in a structured and gradual process instead of an overnight transformation. Gradual implementation while maintaining close monitoring and reevaluations as necessary will be ensured. This change and adoption of the high level technological utilities will create the need for high skill sets and knowledge in their handling. Therefore, the care facility will invest majorly in the training of staff and in hiring of conversant technicians and operators. Data handling and processing will be a key success factor of the project. Data will therefore be collected, analyzed, interpreted using high end and appropriate means. A data collection plan will be utilized and will comprise of information such as Item of measure (delivery time, effectiveness, timeliness) Data type (discrete or continuous) Operational definition detailing the items of measure
  • 18. Sample and population (whether data will be sourced from a small number as a representative of the population or from each and every robotic utility) Responsibility levels (defining who is responsible for the particular data collection, analysis and interpretation and by what means e.g. filling a check sheet etc.) Baseline/ benchmark (will provide the expected outcome to aid in comparison with the actual outcome) Data collected using this process will be handled specifically by technical consultant conversant with the particular technology and data management. The project will utilize customized sheets that will provide for date, process time, activity etc. This data will be analyzed and constructive inferences presented through visual aids such as graphs and pie charts. Barrier management and Budgeting Resistance, technology gap and recourse inadequacy will present as challenges and barriers to the project. Strategies to counter such barriers include member participation, information communication, training and education and budgeting. Financial feasibility of the project will entail: Personnel costs, Computer related and other costs -a cost estimate will be established for each and their sensitivity to the project plan examined. This entails specific costs such as librarian consultation, hiring, outsourcing skills, database access and maintenance etc.
  • 19. Organizational and technological capability - This feasibility evaluation will focus on the care homes ability and suitability of the adoption of the particular project, its endowment in skill, tech-readiness, financial benefits and expenses expected and compatibility both financially and technologically. A budget will be developed to check on costs and restrain operations within budgetary provisions. It will include: - An outline of all funding and sources - An outline of all spending plan · All expenses grouped under category and period of estimation e.g. yearly. Continuous evaluation will be maintained upon implementation. Feedback will be encouraged and analysis of actual against expected performance established. This data will form the basis upon which to disband the project, continue, expand or switch strategies depending on performance. ReferencesComment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. • 21. Grand Canyon University: HCA-699 June 6, 2018Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Great APA format! All required elements of the title page, including running head and proper format. Good job! Restate Title Here. Adult Living Industry Change Model Adult living industry is a hospital that is concerned with the health of the adult citizens of the United States of America who are above the age of 55 years. To achieve this, we have to choose an evidence-based framework that will assist in implementing change in the health care sector and assist the adult care industry in making better decisions in investment. The EBP framework has seven phases that should be followed to completion.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Great effort! You are on the right track with your introduction and thesis statement. You want to be sure your thesis statement is specific and state what the topic of your paper. Keep up the good work. Develop an issue statement Developing a problem statement is the first step of implementing change, policies and better investment decisions in the adult living industry. During this step, the team concerned should issue a problem statement stating a particular issue that the entire adult living community is facing and all the relevant details. In this case, the issue is ensuring proper
  • 22. investment of the funds in the industry. The issue stated during this phase may be amended during the other phases of the EPB change model (Chorpita et al, 2005). Quantifying the problem During this phase, the issue that was stated in phase one is analyzed. The results should show the severity of the issue. The person concerned should be aware of the problem that people in the adult living community are encountering and thus be able to determine how far the issue has affected the people. The quantification of the issue i.e. whether the investment problem is severe or not, can also be amended later in the implementation phases (Chorpita et al, 2005). Study the scientific literature published about the matter During this phase, the relevant committee or personnel will go through the scientific literature. These may include the law books, journals and other publications that were written and published by experienced people about the investment issue that is identified to be affecting the adult living community. In some cases, other researchers might have solved the problem. The researcher should focus on studying the literature published about health communities that were having investment issues in the past and the actions that were taken to solve the matter. This will guide in the next steps of implementing change (Chorpita et
  • 23. al, 2005). Develop program options The committee or personnel involved should then analyze the information collected from the scientific literature to see the program options that are available for solving the issue and assign them priorities (Chorpita et al, 2005). Developing an action plan for better investment in the adult living community During this phase, the issue has been fully analyzed and therefore an action plan for solving the issue and achieving the desired results is put in action. The last two phases of the framework are also planned for in this phase (Chorpita et al, 2005). Evaluation of the action plan During this phase, the actions taken during the previous phase “the action plan” are analyzed. The output of the action plan is evaluated to determine whether the actions taken to act against the issue were effective. If the team involved has achieved their desired objectives, they can move to the next phase for disseminating the results. However, if the goals and objectives have not yet been achieved, amendments are made to the action plan to ensure the objectives are met (Chorpita et al, 2005). Disseminate the result and findings The final step of implementing change using the EPB framework is the dissemination of results. During this phase,
  • 24. the desired goal has been achieved and therefore the team involved can share their results to the public health bodies and the public. The team can publish books and journals that will assist other people having the same problem in the community when they will be reviewing the literature (Chorpita et al, 2005). This industry's main objective is to ensure that the quality of living for the adults is enhanced through the making of the right decisions on matters concerning investments. The mission of the Adult Living Industry This industry entails many institutions which offer services to the senior in Americainstitutions, which offer services to the senior in America, and every institution in this industry has a mission towards which they work towards. Market and Revenue for the Adult Living Industry The adult living industry is well spread in America with more than one million adult people enrolled in this program. It is also
  • 29. evident that this population may rise twice as much by the year 2030 due to the continuous increase in the number of adults enrolled in this program every year (Ortiz, 2017). Given that the American government has placed minimal restrictions for individuals who want to join this business, there are therefore a large number of institutions and investors conducting this program. It is also evident from research that the adult women are more than the male who are being enrolled in this industry. On the other hand, given that the American government has placed little restrictions towards this program; many institutions conducting these programs just require licensing and less non- profitable structures and other basic facilities which enable them to make a lot of profit in this industry (Ortiz, 2017). These facilities are also offered I accordance to the income level of the adult individuals and their families and hence they enable both the low social status and the higher social status personnel to afford these services more conveniently. This enables them to earn a lot of revenue. Also, these revenues accrued are mainly spent in the maintenance and management of the housing and service provision to the members of this industry and the society at large.Comment by Rozlyn Zuber: Good effort. Strengths and Limitations of this Study For this literature review, we can ascertain that the adult living industry program is very important in taking care of the adult people and the disabled who need full care and attention. The programs from the various institutions in the industry are offered in through quality and adequate manner an issue whichthat has enabled both the rich and the poor to enroll for these programs. Despite this industry working towards the betterment of the life of the adults and offering adequate services to the adults, some challenges like the mental illness and other impaired diseases really hinder the provision of these services (Culo, 2011). This is because these elderly are very vulnerable to many diseases and other issues hence this industry takes a great risk in disseminating its services. This is advantageous even for the nursing and medical practitioners who take care of the
