I awoke to the sound of my alarm clock buzzing. It was 4:30 in the morning in two hours I will be
getting on a plane to Florida. Today is June sixth, 2019 the day my family finally leaves for our
family vacation we had all been waiting for, for months. Everyone is running around frantically
trying to pack all their stuff. Unlike the rest of my family, I had woken up an hour earlier and packed
all my stuff already. "Mitch hurry up we're gonna miss our flight!" Yelled Michelle, my mom.
I yelled back "I know, I'm right here don't yell!" I ran up the stairs and grabbed my brand new
navy suitcase behind me, and ran outside and abruptly threw it into the trunk. "Be careful Mitch,"
said Michael my dad. My mom ran upstairs to get a car seat for my four–year–old sister Michaela
and quickly set it up into the car. My family quickly got into the car and started to make our way to
the airport. We drove for about twenty minutes until we got stopped by a train.
We were already going to be ten minutes late and the train just started to go. "Mom, where's the
puppy?" asked Michaela. My mom exclaimed, "Oh no we forgot Micky!"
We had to turn around to go back home. "Mitch can you run in and get the dog quickly please?" my
mom asked me. "Ok " I said. We parked in front of the house and I walked to the door I opened the
door. I yelled, "Micky come downstairs boy!" Mickey ran downstairs and out the door and jumped
right into the car. I walked outside and I got into the car and we drove straight to the airport.
"Michael slow down! We're going to get a speeding ticket," My mom said.
"No we're not, It's fine. We're going to miss our flight if I slow down," my dad replied. Five minutes
later a police car drove by and pulled us over. An old police officer stepped out of his car and asked
my dad for his license and charged him with speeding.
"I told you." My mom said to my dad. My dad didn't reply and just drove in silence until we got to
the airport.
"Mitch, you take the dog by the collar and I'll take your suitcase because we forgot to bring a
leash." My mom said. I grabbed Mickey by his red collar which was kind of tight around his neck
and he quickly turned around and snapped at me. I lightly hit him in the face

The breathtaking scenery just swept me off my feet. The pavements, trees and even the vehicles
by the roadside were covered under the thick layer of snow. As I walked down the streets, the
refreshing winter breeze blew against my face. It was like a dream come true. I was in Japan, the
country I have wanted to visit all my life. That December holiday, my parents finally decided to
bring the family for a holiday in Japan.
When we arrived there, the first thing that struck me was the scenery, it was just unbelievably

We then set out to the ski mountain, sadly, till then we had not seen thesnow falling. Nonetheless,
my siblings and I were still excited about the skiing experience. It was something we had wanted to
try since young.
When we first got onto our skis, we could not really balance and went sliding down the slope
involuntarily. Luckily we started at the bottom of the beginners slope thus it was not that steep. It
was another agonizing task to try standing up after falling down. It was entirely different from
how I imagined. I thought we could just stand up the way we usually do after a fall but it was 10
times harder on skis. Of course, we all learn through experience and by dawn, we were already
skiing down at a speed we never thought we could achieve. To have conquered, the beginners'
mountain without lessons within a day was an achievement that we were all proud of.
As the days ends earlier in Japan, it was dark by the time it was 5pm. We had no choice but to stop
for the day. We went back to our Japanese stylehotel rooms which had individual "onsens" which
means hot springs in Japanese. As we walked down the street for dinner, there were brightly lit
Christmas decorations as well as the little snowmans built by passers–by.
Then, a snowflake fell. It was finally snowing! I jumped up in excitement and started hopping around
in joy. The sight was indescribable.

Descriptive Essay About My Last Vacation
Most people that have gone to Orlando for holidays, ended with good memories. I'm not the
exception. The resorts, the parks, and the restaurant make Orlando the best place to enjoy for the

When I so that pool, I was in shock the palms around the white sand, and the clear salt water make

watching the entrance the face of my 3 years old nephew went from a little bit sleepy to the most
exited face I have ever seen. He yell Mike mommy Mike pointing with his finger the Mike Mouse
face of the garden entrance that had been made with flowers and plants. I think we took more than
20 pictures of my nephew with that Mike face in the background. We pasted the main entrance and
without had planed it there was Buzz Lightyear; his one of his favorite Disney characters. He ran to

During my last vacation I went to France. My mum arranged this tour for me and my friends. We
travelled there by plane. We went France last summer. So the weather was bright and hot around 23–
30 degrees. It was the best weather for camping but we stayed in Champs Elysees hotel. It was the

For that rest of the day we went to a restaurant called Puckett's and apparently it is right down the
road from Justin Timberlake's recording studio/private house, All of the kids including me went
to his front and touched his door knob and I might of took a sneak peek inside his house. The last
day we were there we visited a beautiful waterfall, even though it was a lovely site the water part
was very deadly. The reason why it was deadly was there were big boulders everywhere you
stepped, and there were water moccasins which are venomous snakes that lurked around in the
water. When it was time to live the waterfall a water moccasin was about 20 feet in front of me and
my friends, thankfully another guy ran into the water scaring the snake away making it safe for me
and my buddies to get out. Honestly out of the whole entire summer this had to be my favorite

This next vacation isn't really a vacation it's more of an event but it was fun, hilarious, and

There is an old proverb that goes, 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.' I agree. For me, the
summer vacation will provide me with a rare opportunity to take a well–deserved rest after a year of
hard work. Last summer, I chose to engage in activities that would help me relax my mind and recoup

tour a number of amazing locations, read at least two interesting and/or informative books, and

addition to helping relax the mind, travelling also carries with it some educational value. This
summer, I plan to visit two major locations. These include the Niagara Falls and the National Mall
and Memorial Parks. It is important to note that I settled on these two major travel destinations after
undertaking a laborious research on the key attractions on–site. The National Mall and Memorial
Parks is an amazing place to visit. According to the National Park Foundation (2012), "the National

My First Day Of Summer Vacation
It was a hot day and today was the day of the trip! I had school that day So I went to school and I
was very excited because after school, we also had our first day of summer vacation.When school

The next day we went tubing but there was a bit of a problem, When my cousins were tubing i
tried to distract them so one of them would fall off.I decided to tell them that I was gonna take a
picture but I really wasn't.Until a bump came and one of my cousins fell, they were stopping the
boat and I was trying to get on the other side so I could go but the thing Is i didn't have a life
jacket on , i guess I forgot.I fell into the water and I felt like i was gonna drown right at that

By the time we arrived at the Great Place, I was amazed by the impressive structure and
construction of the long Great Wall. Wikipedia inform that "The Great Wall of China" is a series of

This was the boarding day itself, the day which I had been dreading for weeks but also ecstatic
about. The day started early for me, getting up at four in the morning due to the fact that I couldn't
sleep that night. I felt mixed emotions as I was lying in bed, I was extremely excited for my
vacation to Hong Kong since it was going to be my first ever holiday abroad. The fact that I would

We then set off to the airport and the journey in the cramped car wasn't that thrilling but I decided to
take my mind off the foul smell and think more about my five day vacation.
I heard from my friends that there would be loads of shopping for me to do at the airport so I could
take my mind of things then as they knew I was anxious to go on the plane. Unexpectedly something
suddenly vibrated in my front pocket.
"You don't have to buy anything for me, just come back safely." It was a mobile phone message I
received from my friend. It seemed to be the same idea that I got from my family as well. Nobody
was expecting anything from me and my mum but to merely come back safely.
"Flight BA616 will be leaving shortly, please could all passengers be at the boarding gate number
33, this will be the last warning."
A lady was calling our boarding gate number and it was time to enter the plane, her voice was gentle
and soothing and it calmed my nerves down as we were walking towards the gate, I could finally see
our plane and it was gigantic!! My anticipation grew as my mum lead the way to our seats and I

My Most Memorable Vacation
The most memorable vacation I've had is when I went to Hawaii. When my parents told me
where we were going, I knew it would be my most unique trip. We usually go on a vacation every
few years to somewhere that's warm during Minnesota's winter. Because of Hawaii's warm
climate, It was one of the best choices. Out of the five days we stayed there, one specific day
became the crowning moment of the whole trip for me. Even though the trip would be a long eleven
hour flight, I knew it would be worth it.
On that day my family and I decided to go to a beach that was very popular among the locals for its

We ended up driving around the lot a total of three times before someone finally left. A wildlife
protection agency who wanted to restore the coral reefs in the Pacific owned the beach. They made
everyone who wanted to swim on their beach watch an hour long presentation on the do's and Don'ts
of swimming on their reef. They strictly emphasized on not walking on the coral and staying a good
distance away from sea turtles. Eventually we were allowed to carry on down to the actual beach.
The staff members who presented the video led us out through a different set of doors that
opened to an overlook of the beach. The sky was partly cloudy with scattered rain storms that
covered an area no greater than a football field. Luckily, all the rain stayed offshore, otherwise it
would of been a crummy day. The beach overlook stood above a cliff of black rock that
surrounded the back side of the beach. Looking down, a small cluster of palm trees lined along
the base of the cliff which provided shade from the scorching sand. To the right of the overlook a
small paved road connected the buildings on the cliff to the beach below. Most of the people
walked down the side of the road while the elderly rode down on long trailers connected to a golf
cart which reminded me of something you would ride on during a Hollywood

My Vacation
Could the day become any worse? One afternoon, my grandmother was looking for houses, I
wanted to go to the mall before 8 because there a huge sale. Suddenly the car started to make
disturbing noises, when we stopped at the stoplight the car cut off and begun to overheat! The
mall was already about to close and the car was steaming! So we decided to relax and turn the
radio on. My favorite song came on and the man on the radio offered $200,000 to the first caller,
we called and won the money! My aunt and I called my grandmother to tell her the amazing news,
she said " this would be the perfect time to go on vacation!" so my family decided we would like to
travel within the united states and while there, we would visit the cities of New York City,
Hollywood, and Miami.
The first city my family will visit is New York City! When my family and I arrive we will check into
a room at the Plaza Hotel. I will take my sister and little cousin on the balcony to see the beautiful
view! Kinslea my sister will be ecstatic when she sees the lights from the huge towers and shops
above us. Soon later, my family and I will go to time square to see all of the unique shops, I will
purchase a few outfits for the trip. When we return back to our room we will dress up for supper at
the view on the 48th floor, we will relax and watch the alluring view of the city as we revolve

My Dream Vacation In Hawaii
Everyone wants to go to Hawaii, well, unless they don't like the perfect weather, gorgeous oceans,
and beautiful plants. When I found out I was going to Hawaii for the first time, I almost died,
figuratively speaking of course. When people say they almost die, it is almost immediately
assumed that they are joking. Before going on my dream vacation, I could say that I was always
being over dramatic when saying that, but in January of 2013, it all changed. Hawaii is basically
my mom's dream come true, if she could, she would never leave the beach. Luckily for my Mom,
my dad shares the same opinion. Which is why my parents have been there three times. Of course
two of those, I did not have the pleasure of joining. I never realized how young I was until my
older sister (who is only two years older) was shoving it in my face that she got to go and I didn't.
In sixth grade, my parents finally decided that I finally could get in on the fun.
Everything about Hawaii was perfect. The resort was amazing, the people were all so nice, and

Everyone has gone on some form of vacation in their lives. I have gone on many vacations that have
been very hectic, but the cruise that I went on might have been the craziest. It all started with how
we were getting to the port in South Carolina. We couldn't fit me, my younger brother, my younger
step–brother, my older step–brother, my older step–sister, my aunt, and my stepmom all into my
stepmom's tiny BMW, so we had to rent a big van. When we got to the car rental place, it turns out

The beach was absolutely gorgeous. The sand was as white as snow and there were no shells,
trash, or anything on the beach other than chairs and umbrellas. The water was crystal clear and
even when you were in the ocean up to your neck you could still see the whole way down to your

The air was filled with salt and warm sunlight. The waves were crashing against the Hawaiian sand
causing a beautiful and relaxing sound. With flapping wings and squawking noises, seagulls were
stalking tourists in the search of food. The soft, hot sand was soothing to the touch. The palm trees
danced in the swaying wind and the aroma of distant barbecues and sunscreen wafted in the air. As a
native Floridian, the thought of a Hawaiian vacation was appealing. Hours of waiting began to
accumulate when I was informed that my flight to Hawaii had been rescheduled. My frustration built

Crowds of people began to funnel in to this one location on the beach. I imagined that an animal
had washed up on the shore and could not get back into the water. My curiosity grew, and I left my
chair to follow the path of everyone else down the shoreline.
Upon reaching the scene, I became aware of what happened. I stared down at a little girl who was
lying face up and was unresponsive to family members calling her name. It was evident that she
had drowned and was on the edge of death. Life guards began to pound on her chest and start chest
compulsions. She continued to stay motionless. Quickly, lifeguards began the operations of CPR.
These long and tiring procedures made the lifeguards physically tired. The rest of the family
bickered back and forth on whose fault this was. "Why couldn't you just watch her and do what you
were told?" I heard behind me. The father screamed, "It was not my responsibility to do that, it was
yours!" The clear frustration began to build and caused more confusion.
The lifeguards circling around the little girl seemed frightened. Leaning closer to hear the rumors
being spread throughout the crowd, I unintentionally noticed the disturbing sound of gargling from
the little girl. She had regained consciousness, but could not breathe due to the water trapped in her
lungs. Policemen arrived on the beach and began to push back the imaginary boundaries

My Vacation
This will be my story on my favorite vacation. This vacation was my most recent one in which i
went on a cruise. A cruise is taking a ship to other destinations throughout the world. The cruise

vacation ive ever been on.
The first place we went to was Florida. We flew down to florida in order to board the ship but we got
1 night before we boarded the ship. Usually when we go down to florida the night before the cruise
we end up going to a nice restaurant and this restaurant was especially fancy. When we first got
there we got to our hotel and then walked around to find a nice place to eat. This particular steak
house was unlike anything i've ever been in before. We walked up to the front and read a sign
said "formal attire only" but we were in shorts and t shirts. As we were reading it the owner of the
restaurant came out and welcomed us inside. We get inside they sit us down in this beautiful
circular booth. They came and served us water and brought out a platter with an array of
vegetables and fruits. Cucumbers, Oranges, Etc. Multiple servers would walk by and make sure
we were fine, Service like ive never experienced before. This food was NOT cheap at all we did
not expect it from the restaurant. I ordered a lobster bisque to start off and it was the most
fantastic soup i've ever had in my life. After that i ordered a steak gorgonzola and that was
absolutely phenomenal. The store owner was very polite and he himself came around to check on
us and see how we were doing. By far the most memorable restaurant i've ever been to. Then we
went home and went to bed to get ready for the cruise in the morning. We woke up at 5 am When it
was pouring rain to get on the cruise ship the ship was absolutely phenomenal. I'll get into that at a
later time. The first Island we went to is called Grand Turk In Turks and Caicos. Now this island we
have already gone to previously so we knew what we were gonna do there. The second we got off
the ship we took a half a mile walk down the beach to this place called "Jack's Shack" where they
serve THE BEST Jerked chicken and play music and serve drinks to you while you lay

Family Vacation Essay
Spending quality time with family is one of my favorite childhood memories, whether it was
spending time outdoors, playing ping pong, or watching a movie. My most meaningful family
memory came from our vacation to Colorado back in 2004; yes, 2004. Although I don't remember
all of the events that transpired, I'm able to recall most of the memorable events that took place.
It was a cool, misty morning in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and I could distinctly hear the
unmistakable elk calls that echoed through the mountains. The breeze gently scraped my face as I

gently humming on the road during this cool, foggy, Colorado morning. As I looked past the

snowy mountain peaks; however, the sun was soon covered by the misty Colorado clouds. This was

Ever since the beginning of summer, I was looking forward to one activity in particular on this
vacation: our white water rafting trip. I could just imagine the cool water of the river, and the wind

Choosing a destination for your vacation may be the easiest part of planning the whole trip but
planning the details of it is the hard part. Some people have it down to a science and some do it
all last minute. When you wait until the last minute to plan your trip it can end up being very
expensive. I prefer to keep it simple and take my time planning my trip, keeping it as stress free as
possible. The first step in planning your vacation is choosing the destination. Make sure that it is

You're going on vacation so pack comfortably
When you have chosen the location and received your passport the next thing you must do is choose
the dates that you will be going on your vacation but you must also make sure that they corresponds
with the climate. If you decide to go to a warmer climate then you may want to go between the
months of October and May because the temperatures are not so extreme. If the hot summer months
are what you enjoy, then I recommend that you go on vacation from June through September. On the
other hand, if you choose to go to a cooler climate where it snows in the winter months I would go
during the summer.
After you choose your destination the next thing you must do is reserve your airfare and hotel. This
may be tough because there are many websites and travel agents that you can go through. I have
found that it is cheaper and easier to go through Expedia.com. You can book your hotel and flight
all together and pay one low price. I have also found that flying with Southwest Airlines is very
cheap and they have many one way stops all across the country and for a cheap hotel that is very
nice I recommend the Extended Stay America.
While you are on your vacation make sure you make plenty of time for sightseeing. If you are
going to the Caribbean or someplace that has a beautiful body of water that had lots of ocean life in
it then I recommend going diving or snorkeling. This is a great way to get in touch with
