As soon as I got of the plane and breathed in that City air I new my life would change for the better.
I was waiting for this day for the past several months. It was the first time I would go with my
father and brothers on their "Boys Only Vacation". I was thrilled at the fact that they would finally
let me tag along with them. This year they decided to go to Washington D.C. I had never been to
D.C before, and what made it even better was the fact that around the time we would arrive it
would be snowing. It was my first time ever seeing snow with my naked eye. So when the time
came we headed out to Tampa International Airport. We checked our bags, went threw security and
waiting in line before entering the aircraft. It was about a 2 hour flight before we arrived in the
place that now has my heart till the day I die. As soon as we stepped out the Airport my eyes were
widened by the site of seeing snow for the first time. The snow felt as if it was made out of a snow
cone machine. The sound of my feet stomping in the snow like stepping on packing peanuts is the
sound that I will listen to for hours. After about a quarter of a mile walk we got to the subway
station where for the first time I experienced how busy big cities can be. We got our cards and
headed downstairs to where the subway trains were. The sound of a jazz musician playing Duke
Ellington's "Rhapsody in Blue" made me want to give the man all the money in my pocket but
sadly I couldn't. There was also the smell of chili cheese dogs that the people next to us were
trying to scarf down before the train arrived. Finally it arrived and this was my first time on a
subway car. The feeling of my butt on the rough "cushioned" chairs wasn't the best feeling in the
world. The sight on many people from Jamaican to Irish was one that I haven't seen in such a small
compacted space. I could also see the sight of Jefferson Memorial and the Potomac River as we
passed them was breathtaking. We passed a few other sights such as the Washington Monument, The
Lincoln Memorial and the WW2 Memorial. As we walked off the train we could hear the conductor
giving everyone safety instructions and telling them to step away from the doors.

My Vacation
Every day I wake up reminding myself to always be grateful for your loved ones ever since reality
hit me four years ago. I recall the time my family and I took a summer vacation to India. It was a
trip I will never forget for a particular reason. As the trip to India was coming to an end, it was time
to say our final good–byes to all of our family and friends. On the last sunny day of vacation with
drops of sweat running down my face, my mother decided to visit her family one last time before it
was time to head off to the airport. My brother, my father, and I went to my aunt's house in the
mean–time to visit my aunt and uncle one final time. In a small town in India, my aunt and uncle,
who are both doctors, own a hospital where they actually also live at the upper level. The first two
floors consists of hospital rooms and on the third floor is where their home is located. We called for
a rickshaw and drove over to the hospital. As we arrived at the entrance, we walked upstairs to their
house inside the hospital. With little time left, we sat down and talked with my aunt while my uncle
was dealing with patients.
As all sat together in the living room spending quality time together, my aunt brought up the idea that
she should take a blood test from my father to make sure he didn't have any health issues that he

My Favorite Vacation
Vacation is the time to relax and have fun. Taking the carnival cruise to Cozumel was one of the
most fun and memorable vacations I have been on. Out of all the vacations I, have taken, this

vacation I would choose would be the trip to Cozumel. This is because I hung out with friends,

When first getting on the cruise we were greeted with smiling faces of the staff of the cruise
which made us feel welcome and comfortable. All the activities the cruise offered such as an
arcade, gift shops, candy shops, casino, gym, spa, mini golf, basketball, water slides, room
service and much more. Finally, visiting the beach really top off the trip as a whole. One reason
because I have never been to the beach which really made this an exciting time for me. Going to
the beach was really relaxing laying out enjoying the sun and the warm and going through my

so excited and I asked him if he would take a picture for me. I couldn't believe I actually held it
and didn't freak out. Lastly, the beach overall was the fun experience to have. I stayed at the beach
for the two hours just swimming and enjoying the beach environment. I definitely wasn't ready to
leave anytime soon but I had too. I had so much fun at the beach I would definitely go back. This

Essay On My Vacation
Everyone has gone on some form of vacation in their lives. I have gone on many vacations that have
been very hectic, but the cruise that I went on might have been the craziest. It all started with how
we were getting to the port in South Carolina. We couldn't fit me, my younger brother, my younger
step–brother, my older step–brother, my older step–sister, my aunt, and my stepmom all into my
stepmom's tiny BMW, so we had to rent a big van. When we got to the car rental place, it turns out

The beach was absolutely gorgeous. The sand was as white as snow and there were no shells,
trash, or anything on the beach other than chairs and umbrellas. The water was crystal clear and
even when you were in the ocean up to your neck you could still see the whole way down to your
toes. You could see fish swimming around your ankles and there were dolphins out in the distance. It
truly was a perfect beach. My family and I all swam with manta rays and then Emma and i found

My Most Memorable Vacation
The most memorable vacation I've had is when I went to Hawaii. When my parents told me
where we were going, I knew it would be my most unique trip. We usually go on a vacation every
few years to somewhere that's warm during Minnesota's winter. Because of Hawaii's warm
climate, It was one of the best choices. Out of the five days we stayed there, one specific day
became the crowning moment of the whole trip for me. Even though the trip would be a long eleven

We ended up driving around the lot a total of three times before someone finally left. A wildlife
protection agency who wanted to restore the coral reefs in the Pacific owned the beach. They made
everyone who wanted to swim on their beach watch an hour long presentation on the do's and Don'ts
of swimming on their reef. They strictly emphasized on not walking on the coral and staying a good
distance away from sea turtles. Eventually we were allowed to carry on down to the actual beach.
The staff members who presented the video led us out through a different set of doors that
opened to an overlook of the beach. The sky was partly cloudy with scattered rain storms that
covered an area no greater than a football field. Luckily, all the rain stayed offshore, otherwise it
would of been a crummy day. The beach overlook stood above a cliff of black rock that
surrounded the back side of the beach. Looking down, a small cluster of palm trees lined along
the base of the cliff which provided shade from the scorching sand. To the right of the overlook a
small paved road connected the buildings on the cliff to the beach below. Most of the people
walked down the side of the road while the elderly rode down on long trailers connected to a golf
cart which reminded me of something you would ride on during a Hollywood

My Favorite Family Vacation
Have you ever been on a favorite family vacation? I have, and my favorite family vacation is when I
went Wisconsin and Illinois to see my niece Karina, my step sister Missy, my Aunt Rena and Uncle
Tommy. Before we left we had a lot to do my parents took our dogs to this ladies house that was
taking care of our dogs while we was gone. Next my parents drop my brother and I off at my
grandparents house to visit them before we left while they picked up the car we are going to drive.
It took forever to leave but we finally did.
First thing we did was go to Wisconsin to see my niece and my step sister. It took nine hours to
get there and on the way we stopped in Chicago. There was a little mall over the road it was really
cool it had everything the a mall it even had a little park and a argade room. When we finally got
Wisconsin, they greeted us and let us in the apartment. Soon after we arrived, we had dinner
together and to my surprise, it was tacos, which is my favorite. After dinner my niece and I was in
the room that me and my family was staying in, by are self I gave her my gift for her. It was a locket
necklace she loved it, but she could not wear it because it has a gold chain because it makes her
break out but now she can because she has a silver chain. The next day we had planned to have a
fun day at the lake, but it rained so we just went to go see the lake. We walked around the park

Choosing a destination for your vacation may be the easiest part of planning the whole trip but
planning the details of it is the hard part. Some people have it down to a science and some do it
all last minute. When you wait until the last minute to plan your trip it can end up being very
expensive. I prefer to keep it simple and take my time planning my trip, keeping it as stress free as
possible. The first step in planning your vacation is choosing the destination. Make sure that it is

You're going on vacation so pack comfortably
When you have chosen the location and received your passport the next thing you must do is choose
the dates that you will be going on your vacation but you must also make sure that they corresponds
with the climate. If you decide to go to a warmer climate then you may want to go between the
months of October and May because the temperatures are not so extreme. If the hot summer months
are what you enjoy, then I recommend that you go on vacation from June through September. On the
other hand, if you choose to go to a cooler climate where it snows in the winter months I would go
during the summer.
After you choose your destination the next thing you must do is reserve your airfare and hotel. This
may be tough because there are many websites and travel agents that you can go through. I have
found that it is cheaper and easier to go through Expedia.com. You can book your hotel and flight
all together and pay one low price. I have also found that flying with Southwest Airlines is very
cheap and they have many one way stops all across the country and for a cheap hotel that is very
nice I recommend the Extended Stay America.
While you are on your vacation make sure you make plenty of time for sightseeing. If you are
going to the Caribbean or someplace that has a beautiful body of water that had lots of ocean life in

My Best Vacation
"The best vacation ever!" my cousin Vicky screamed from the bed next to me. I was just trying to
fall sleep, but she kept talking most of the night with her twin sister Emma. We all have the same
age, and this is the first vacation we have without parents, aunts, and uncles around, telling us what
to do. We arrived to Los Angeles, California at 11:00 pm, checked into thehotel and tried to rest. The
next day we planned to drive around the city and wait for our friend Annette, who was coming
from Texas. Annette was around twenty years old, but she had been traveling around the world
with her father since she was 13. I admire her, she is funny, has a good temper, and is really
knowledgeable about traveling. We are going to fly together to Mexico City first, and from there to
Acapulco. We planned to go to "La Quebrada", it's a place in Acapulco where people do cliff
diving. We had done some research about it. The divers have to climb the cliff and do a freestyle
jump into the water. We couldn't wait to be there, Annette was going to be really happy too, she
used to compete in platform diving when she was in high school. The hotel room phone rang
pretty early the next day. Our parents checking on us, making sure we were ok. Emma talked to
her mother and assured her that everything was ok and that we will be careful driving around. It
was funny, I looked at her facial expressions meanwhile she is talking, and Emma rolls the eyes
and nods a lot. Emma is the opposite of his sister Vicky. Vicky talks a lot but she's a scary cat, on

Have you ever been on a vacation to paradise that turned out to be a nightmare? That was the
experience we had on our first foreign vacation as a family. We had been to Florida's wonderful
beaches many times during my childhood but then decided that we wanted to change things up a
bit. We pondered where we wanted to go for our vacation and decided that it was a good idea to go
talk with a travel agent. She recommended many destinations, but we decided on Cancun, Mexico.
We looked over the booklet that the travel agent gave us and saw manyresorts that looked nice. As a
family, we discussed the resorts and decided on one. It was an all–inclusive resort called the
Iberostar. The Iberostar was rated a six star gold resort, which is the highest rating that it could
get from Apple Vacations. It was also a little bit cheaper, which was appealing to us. We booked
the vacation with our travel agent for early July and began to get excited about it. July 1st came
around fast and we were packed and ready to go. Our nonstop flight was scheduled to leave early
morning on July 2nd, at least that's what we thought. We arrived at the airport 2 hours before our
flight's scheduled departure time and stood in the check–in line for over 45 minutes. We flew with a
budget airline, which turned out to be a mistake. Once we got to the check–in counter, we were
informed by the attendant that our flight was delayed two hours. This did not make us happy, but
there was nothing we could do about

My First Vacation
My First Vacation Today I will be telling a story on my way to my first vacation! It was the summer
of 2017 me and my family were going to gulf shores, alabama it was my first vacation ever and I
went with my cousin so me and him could ride together, it was a 12 hour ride so we had to find
something to do without getting bored the whole time on the way there. We got up at 4:00 A.M in
the morning and got all of our stuff ready, then we went and picked up my grandma and her
Boyfriend up and we were on our way to Alabama. On the way there I listen to my music with
headphones on and tried to sleep as much as possible so it would not be a long car ride but in my
head I knew it was a 12 hour car ride. So it was about 9 O'clock and we stopped for breakfast, we got
our food at Quick trip and ate in the car. Afterwards, I was done eating and I fell asleep for about
half an hour and woke up to my cousin saying, "Look out the window." and I turned my head and
saw just flat farmland for as far as I Could see there was nothing in the way of the farmland, then I
asked my cousin who was driving and where are we and she said, "We are in Tennessee." and I was
shocked because I have never been out of the state of Missouri. Then I was awake until we
stopped at a Wendy's at around 2 P.M. and we left and I played on my phone for hours, after then,
it died then I learned that I should have packed other things to do while I was on this long car ride
because I was really bored until my Cousin
