Definition Of Maturity Essay
Do you think maturity is based on a person's age? Maturity has to do with who you hang around,
the experiences you've had, and what you have learned. Just a specific age limit doesn't make you
mature. I have a cousin, named Ayana, and she is only eleven years old and she has already
matured. When the word "sex" is said, she doesn't burst out laughing. When someone is acting
childish or fighting, she'll stop the fight and say "Y'all need to grow up." When it's time to be
serious, she is serious. When it's time to play around, she'll have her fun. Do you still believe that
maturity is based on a person's age? Some kids mature before they are teenagers and some kids
mature well after they are teenagers. Just remember that maturity has to do

As a newspaper columnist one wrote, "Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences
you've had, and what you've learned from them, and less to do with how many birthdays you've
celebrated." I can agree maturity is not dependent on a person's age. There is no specific age to be
mature. For example, I have a friend with the age of nineteen. She owns everything she desires and
doesnВґt attend school. I asked her what her future plans were. ГЏ will get a husband who gives me
what I want or I will always have my daddyВЁ, she answered. I hope one day she realizes the
importance of being independent meanwhile you can see how she is ot mature. If she doesnt mature

Definition Essay On Maturity
Maturity can be many different things. It doesn't just mean you're grown up,it has many deeper
meanings. Being mature means loving your enemies . As Benjamin Franklin once said ,"Love your
enemies for , they tell you your faults. In other words regard your enemies, because they point out
your wrongs, faults, and flaws. For example, when my teacher was in fourth grade a bully
challenged him, and from that experience the bully showed him he had a temper. Therefore be open
minded because there is always room for amelioration. Consequently, my enemies make me stronger,
less afraid, and better. Being mature also means caring for others. According to Tracy Mcmillon,
"Caring people about things, about life is an act of maturity". For example,

College Admissions Essay: The Maturity Of My Life
Ask my teachers, friends, coaches, and family, they'll all tell you that I'm mature. The way I hold
myself responsible for my life, my studies, and my activities through the good and bad is a unique
quality about me that they admire, but also know little to nothing about. I had always been mature
for my age; I started kindergarten when I was four and I made up for that age gap by acting a little
older. However, the true maturity that I hold now, the maturity people refer to when they say I am
"wise beyond [my] years" did not develop in kindergarten, or even in school.
When I was nine, my parents divorced and my dad moved back to his hometown. When I was 11,
my mom moved my family out of our hometown to Frederick, Maryland. My mom was a single,
working mom, and I was often left responsible for my three younger siblings. For the past 6 years, I
have been cooking meals, checking homework, and cleaning up after my siblings....show more

I stopped procrastinating projects, I practiced color guard every day to make myself a better
performer, and I got into the habit of studying despite feeling like I didn't need to. I took the
initiative in all that I did and held myself to a higher standard, having finally learned it was best to
lead by example; My siblings would grow up watching their sister work hard to succeed, and my
work ethic rubbed off on them. What makes me a unique candidate for the Calhoun Honors College
is not just that I am mature, but the way in which came to be that way. I haven't just learned the
meaning of responsibility, I've shared it. I wasn't just born mature, I've grown to live with it. As
such, the maturity I gained is a unique response to a fairly common situation. I may be "wise
beyond [my] years", as parents and other adults have noticed, but I am also young enough to
recognize I still have a life before me and plenty of lessons to learn, some of which I am hoping to
gain from the Calhoun Honors

Short Story Essay: Maturity
Short Story Essay
All humans go through a stage of maturity, some handle it better than others and it is caused and
affected by many different situations like, poverty, location, age, or feelings. I think that all four
stories, Marigolds, Visit to Grandmother, Summer of Truth and Flight all have to do with maturity.
Both Marigolds and Flight have characters that face maturity, going from being immature to
becoming mature. While Visit to Grandmother and Summer of Truth the characters are immature in
the beginning of the story and by the end they don't end up changing for the better. The story

Maturity and Me Essays
What makes a person mature? Is it the way people interact with each other in a way that
politeness is the highest priority? Does it have something to do with the growth of the body?
Well, whatever it is I have heard it a thousand times over and over again from different people and
I never really understood it. Some people just come up to me and say "You have to grow up you
know because the world is no place for sophomoric children!" When I hear these words I often ask
myself what 'world' they are talking about. Is it the graceful world from story books and fairytales
that everyone wishes to live in? Maybe it is the world of old battles and conflicts that mark the
world with a bitter taste of terror. However, I believe that they all talk...show more content...
Only once in my life, I have been punished so harsh that even shocked my mother for months. It
left me scars and an unforgettable memory that I can recall even nowadays by looking into the

swore to myself that I will not debate with my parents about what I have done, is right. Being
misled by my friends and even my own intuition destroyed my reputation in the area I have lived.
The Germany I know was not the same to me anymore because looking forward into 12th grade and
back onto my transcript I knew I had no future. No accomplishments, mediocre grades, and
negative comments from my teacher made me fall into a state of sorrow. For days I look beyond
the skies to find an answer of what to do next. Suddenly, a mysterious object cuts through the
clouds decapitating it from its nimbus body and lifted my spirit once more high sky. In that
moment I knew what I was going to do and strive for to recover from this rehabilitation. Not long
it took me to grab my belongings and start the adventure of my life that would change everything.
Friends, teachers, coaches, and even my father I left behind to seek my dream. My exact words, "Ich

Essay about Defining Maturity
Maturity is commonly used word, but when asked what the word means many people simply
shrug their shoulders. Maturity isn't a word that has a clear definition. Being based primarily on
one's connotation, it doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. Personally I picked this word up
through context. However, upon doing a careful study of where this word originates and other's
connotation's, I feel I've achieved a relatively good understanding. Webster claims the word to mean
"based on slow careful consideration," but I feel there is much more to this word than that. How
can a word our society uses so much have such a loose definition. Teacher's and parents refer to their
children as mature or immature. But maybe one teacher's definition of...show more content...
However can one express maturity at all times? Maybe someone's "best possible outcome" differs
from another, who is then more mature? Again, maturity is driven from one's own connotation. This
is why there is such confusion in adolescents and their push to become mature.
In Joyce Carol Oates – Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been, there is a conflict with
maturity. Connie, the stories main character, feels she is extremely mature, so she does stuff in her
opinion mature people do. This leads to a stranger showing up on her doorstep asking her to come
outside and drive away with him. The story says, "She could see then that he wasn't a kid, he was
much older–thirty, maybe more. At this knowledge her heart began to pound faster." It concludes
with Connie leaving with the man and our imaginations predicting the rest. This story helps to
demonstrate the differences on the ideas of maturity.
One hundred years ago, at the turn of the century, maturity was viewed much differently then now.
Children were supposed to of been "seen not heard" and were considered mature by staying out of
affairs. Now–a–days, society's stressing that everyone's opinion matters. Back in 2003, fourteen
year old Brittany Bergquist and her brother twelve year old brother Robbie started a program
known as Cell phones for Soldiers. The aim of this company is to donate a total of twelve million
dollars in prepaid phone cards to the soldiers to call home via donations of old phones. We

Honestly, I don't think I am as mature as I used to be, I know a mod needs to meet certain
standards of maturity. I am working on accomplishing this and hopefully I will one day be mature
enough to handle this. I am super crazy but when it comes to certain situations I can sit down and be
mature about it, I'm sure its the same with the mods here.
Confident:
I am a very confident person, I have learned to deal with hate through out the past couple of weeks
and I have learned to not let it get to me! Mods who can handle hate are usually the ones who last!
Responsibility:

I always show responsibility both in school and out of school. During school, I take rigorous AP
and honors courses while being in sports, band, and taking trombone lessons. Despite having all
these obligations I still manage to prioritize academics first, as I earned a 3.7 GPA last quarter. I view
responsibility as putting school first and applying myself to all endeavors. Sometimes I would
rather be with my friends than doing homework or studying. In such times I tell myself that school
comes first and there will be plenty of time to hang out when the work is done.
To me moral standards mean a lot of things. It means being honest, and judging people by their
character, not by their differences. It means helping whoever needs it whenever you can, and
being loyal to your friends. I try to uphold these values as much as I can. An example of my high
moral standards is that I stayed loyal to my friend who came out as a lesbian. I also show morals

Maturity:
As a staff member, I would always be proper and not toxic. When helping players, I always make
sure to talk politely and always address the player happily. Even if a player comes into Teamspeak
screaming, I would make sure to keep my cool and not be enraged by the player. When a player in
chat may talk trash about me, I would not talk back to them saying rude things, instead. Even
though I may have been toxic on other servers, I still would show that I am able to help out any
player in need and not be aggressive or rude towards them.
Respect:
This trait is most important for a staff member. If I become staff I will always listen and not talk
back to higher tiered staff. I respect all people on the server and never will talk behind...show more

This allows me to be able to provide evidence for the higher staff to see that it wasn't a false ban. If
the player appeals, I would provide proof of them using the blacklisted modification that got them
banned. Recording can also bring in more players as posting to YouTube can attract people that had
no clue the server existed. Recording can also show that there is a community that trusts me and
believes that I am doing my job correctly.
Listening:
If I become staff I would always hear out the player and give them the benefit of the doubt. If the
player is being banned for a reason that they think is unfair, I would pull them into Teamspeak and
listen to their story without interruption. If I do not interrupt the player, they are able to not waste
time and allow me to do my job easily. Being able to listen allows me to navigate through all
support rooms easily so that they aren't backed up with players.

Reflection About Maturity
I consider myself very mature. As I am currently the age of 13, I know how to treat people with
respect and how to deal with situations. When I was younger, I admit that I could be toxic from
time to time. However, that was when I was l like 10 or 11, and I now know how to be mature and
to ignore the people that disturb you in any way. If I were to be accepted, I will be mature when it
comes to handling players. For instance, If I were to be getting yelled at by a player in teamspeak, I
will be sure not to yell at them back, I would simple just tell them to stop and tell me their
problem and I will handle it. I will also show my maturity by never arguing with players in game,
forums, or teamspeak. As you can see, that is how I should be chosen as a staff member because of
my maturity.
Activity:
As I said in the "How many hours can you be online everyday?" question, you can see that I could
put a lot of hours into the server. Also, as I said summer is coming up very soon. This means that
I could be way more active, as I would not have to go to school. I also would be able to stay up later
everyday including the weekends, to insure all players are happy and satisfied during the late times
if some staff members have to sleep. Those are the reasons why I should be chosen as a staff
member because of my activity.
Dedication and Effort.
Dedication means to be committed to a task or purpose. The task in this case would be to help the
players in any way possible. If I were to be accepted, I would put my dedication and effort into the
server. As I said I am very active and would use my time online to assist the players in–need of help.
I would also not just put dedication in game but, into the forums and teamspeak aswell. Meaning,
I will move players that are in need of staff assistance. I will also be able to comment on anyone
needing help on the forums, even simple things like how to claim your base, or direct them on
how to make a ban appeal. It doesn't matter how simple or hard the task is, I will be sure to help a
player as much as I can before moving them out of the support rooms or not responding to the
forum thread. As from the following reasons from above, that is why I should be chosen as a staff
member

When Does Maturity Come With Age?
Maturity has been said to come with age and I agree. Most adults I have met have been more
mature than me or any of my friends. Even in tv shows adults or anyone of the older demographic
are people who are considered to be more mature. My parents are people I've come ask for help
many times. They have been wrong but 9 out of 10 times they were right. It's been about all kinds
of things, be it relationships or just life advice in general. Adults in tv shows also act much more
mature compared to the kids or teens in said tv shows. Shows like Codename: Kids Next Door,
maturity is portrayed as a bad thing so none of the kids are portrayed to be as evil as the adults.

Maturity Essay
A common piece of everybody's vocabulary today is a word used in various contexts with little
understanding to comprehend what it really means. "Maturity", the stream of questions that come to
our mind when we begin to ponder on the eight letter word is numerous. The most basic being,
"What is maturity? How does one step up on the pedestal of maturity? And how do we measure
maturity?" Einstein puts his perspective on maturity in an even more complicated manner, "I live in
that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity", this view point does
paint us a picture of maturity, but leads us to a whole new world of mystification.
Starting with the first question that comes to our mind, I tossed open a...show more content...
Well, looking in that perspective how is emotional maturity different from physical maturity?
Emotional maturity could be the "full growth and development" of a person's mind and conscience.
Obvious enough, but the key is to figure out and understand the deeper meaning of emotional
development. Unlike physical maturity, mental and emotional maturity is not easily defined.
Emotions are unstable, volatile and hard to comprehend. Even though everybody views this subject
matter in a different way, I will present you with some of the opinions or axioms that make the most
sagacity. Firstly, development occurs through time. With time at a still, there can't be any growth, no
advancement, and no progress. Another build that comes with the passage of time is experience. We
as humans experience a whole lot of things: Affection, success, detestation, calamity. So, in other
words we could also say that we develop with experience. This makes us understand that mental and
emotionally maturity comes from experience. Regardless of this, another notion on the matter is that
experience can trigger detrimental changes on our attitudes that can obstruct our road to maturity. In
other words, experiences can hinder our emotional

Marks Of Maturity
Are you hitting the marks of maturity? Time is flying and here we are in the 21st century. Thing
change as time goes on and one thing that has really been changing is maturity in kids. Nowadays
teens are over all maturing later in life than in the past. They may be ahead in some areas of life
but they are missing quite a bit due to lots of new technology these days. Read on to learn more
about maturity and what you can do to help others and yourself hit the mark.
One big problem of materity these days is that kids and teens are just learning too much too fast.
Sociology professor Tony Campolo said, "I am convinced we don't live in a generation of bad
kids. We live in a generation of kids who know too much too soon." Teens are just more exposed to
everything at such a young age it stunts their maturity more than it helps it to grow. According to
Tim Elmore, "From an intellectual perspective, students today have been exposed to so much more
than I was growing up–and far sooner, too. Everything is coming at them sooner." New information

Essay On Physical Maturity
The question as to when an individual becomes an adult can be interpreted in different ways;,
being an adult doesn't rely on age or physical maturity., Iit is a form of mental maturity or a certain
mind set acquired by adults young and old. Mental maturity is important in being and adult because
it determines how oneyou think, how oneyou acts, and the things you do in your life despite your
age. Life and also forces people into adulthoo;d, kids that grown up in a rough household will have
maturity sparked in them at a young age.Things such as unplanned pregnancy or being kicked out of
your house can also have the same effect. Finally an adult mindset can have an aeffect on adulthood.
If a person takes responsibility and takes care of themselves they have that mindset. A big part of
that is weighing the consequences before making decisions in their life. Physical maturity has
nothing to do with when a person becomes an adult, it is all about mental maturity. I have know

Meaning Of Maturity
The meaning of the maturity can be different to other people, I'm going to analyze the
characteristics, address if it is important, and if it's reasonable to expect young adults to have
maturity. This is my definition of maturity, I believe maturity you can stand on your own, be polite,
and not just think of just yourself, to be mature you should act proper and polite to others no matter
the situation and the authors definition (Tim Elmore) fits my definition as well. A mature person
possess a spirit of humility, to think less of yourself and more of others. People who are mature
don't need to draw attention to themselves, they have their own identity and don't care what others
have to say, a mature person will be self–confident but not arrogant and an narcissist about how
confident they are. Mature people will base their feelings on what's best and not based on how
they feel about it, They care for others, more than themselves. They can see how others have
contributed to their success as said in Tim Elmores 'The Marks of Maturity' Maturity is being able
to base their decisions off of character and not feelings. They will live by their values and those

means we aren't mature. And when people say bad things about us whether or not we act like we

Adults even get hurt by someone criticizing and being rude. I don't believe that is a part of maturity,

What Defines True Maturity

  • 1. Definition Of Maturity Essay Do you think maturity is based on a person's age? Maturity has to do with who you hang around, the experiences you've had, and what you have learned. Just a specific age limit doesn't make you mature. I have a cousin, named Ayana, and she is only eleven years old and she has already matured. When the word "sex" is said, she doesn't burst out laughing. When someone is acting childish or fighting, she'll stop the fight and say "Y'all need to grow up." When it's time to be serious, she is serious. When it's time to play around, she'll have her fun. Do you still believe that maturity is based on a person's age? Some kids mature before they are teenagers and some kids mature well after they are teenagers. Just remember that maturity has to do Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Definition Essay About Maturity As a newspaper columnist one wrote, "Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had, and what you've learned from them, and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated." I can agree maturity is not dependent on a person's age. There is no specific age to be mature. For example, I have a friend with the age of nineteen. She owns everything she desires and doesnВґt attend school. I asked her what her future plans were. ГЏ will get a husband who gives me what I want or I will always have my daddyВЁ, she answered. I hope one day she realizes the importance of being independent meanwhile you can see how she is ot mature. If she doesnt mature at home, in the streetsshe will find her parrents. Your age doesnt define Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Definition Essay On Maturity Maturity can be many different things. It doesn't just mean you're grown up,it has many deeper meanings. Being mature means loving your enemies . As Benjamin Franklin once said ,"Love your enemies for , they tell you your faults. In other words regard your enemies, because they point out your wrongs, faults, and flaws. For example, when my teacher was in fourth grade a bully challenged him, and from that experience the bully showed him he had a temper. Therefore be open minded because there is always room for amelioration. Consequently, my enemies make me stronger, less afraid, and better. Being mature also means caring for others. According to Tracy Mcmillon, "Caring people about things, about life is an act of maturity". For example, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. College Admissions Essay: The Maturity Of My Life Ask my teachers, friends, coaches, and family, they'll all tell you that I'm mature. The way I hold myself responsible for my life, my studies, and my activities through the good and bad is a unique quality about me that they admire, but also know little to nothing about. I had always been mature for my age; I started kindergarten when I was four and I made up for that age gap by acting a little older. However, the true maturity that I hold now, the maturity people refer to when they say I am "wise beyond [my] years" did not develop in kindergarten, or even in school. When I was nine, my parents divorced and my dad moved back to his hometown. When I was 11, my mom moved my family out of our hometown to Frederick, Maryland. My mom was a single, working mom, and I was often left responsible for my three younger siblings. For the past 6 years, I have been cooking meals, checking homework, and cleaning up after my siblings....show more content... I stopped procrastinating projects, I practiced color guard every day to make myself a better performer, and I got into the habit of studying despite feeling like I didn't need to. I took the initiative in all that I did and held myself to a higher standard, having finally learned it was best to lead by example; My siblings would grow up watching their sister work hard to succeed, and my work ethic rubbed off on them. What makes me a unique candidate for the Calhoun Honors College is not just that I am mature, but the way in which came to be that way. I haven't just learned the meaning of responsibility, I've shared it. I wasn't just born mature, I've grown to live with it. As such, the maturity I gained is a unique response to a fairly common situation. I may be "wise beyond [my] years", as parents and other adults have noticed, but I am also young enough to recognize I still have a life before me and plenty of lessons to learn, some of which I am hoping to gain from the Calhoun Honors Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 6. Short Story Essay: Maturity Short Story Essay All humans go through a stage of maturity, some handle it better than others and it is caused and affected by many different situations like, poverty, location, age, or feelings. I think that all four stories, Marigolds, Visit to Grandmother, Summer of Truth and Flight all have to do with maturity. Both Marigolds and Flight have characters that face maturity, going from being immature to becoming mature. While Visit to Grandmother and Summer of Truth the characters are immature in the beginning of the story and by the end they don't end up changing for the better. The story Marigolds and Flight have immature characters at the start of the short story but by the end they grow, change, and, most importantly, they...show more content... She does this by acting like her, talking like her and "I used to spend hours and hours on my clothes and hair and make–up" said by Libby just to be like Debbie and not be who she really is. • 7. Maturity and Me Essays What makes a person mature? Is it the way people interact with each other in a way that politeness is the highest priority? Does it have something to do with the growth of the body? Well, whatever it is I have heard it a thousand times over and over again from different people and I never really understood it. Some people just come up to me and say "You have to grow up you know because the world is no place for sophomoric children!" When I hear these words I often ask myself what 'world' they are talking about. Is it the graceful world from story books and fairytales that everyone wishes to live in? Maybe it is the world of old battles and conflicts that mark the world with a bitter taste of terror. However, I believe that they all talk...show more content... Only once in my life, I have been punished so harsh that even shocked my mother for months. It left me scars and an unforgettable memory that I can recall even nowadays by looking into the mirror. On that particular day I have finally realized what being irresponsible can lead to and I swore to myself that I will not debate with my parents about what I have done, is right. Being misled by my friends and even my own intuition destroyed my reputation in the area I have lived. The Germany I know was not the same to me anymore because looking forward into 12th grade and back onto my transcript I knew I had no future. No accomplishments, mediocre grades, and negative comments from my teacher made me fall into a state of sorrow. For days I look beyond the skies to find an answer of what to do next. Suddenly, a mysterious object cuts through the clouds decapitating it from its nimbus body and lifted my spirit once more high sky. In that moment I knew what I was going to do and strive for to recover from this rehabilitation. Not long it took me to grab my belongings and start the adventure of my life that would change everything. Friends, teachers, coaches, and even my father I left behind to seek my dream. My exact words, "Ich werde Dich niemals vergessen, Vater" awoke the river in my eyes and a last embrace of solitude I gave before the step of new life has began. • 8. Essay about Defining Maturity Maturity is commonly used word, but when asked what the word means many people simply shrug their shoulders. Maturity isn't a word that has a clear definition. Being based primarily on one's connotation, it doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. Personally I picked this word up through context. However, upon doing a careful study of where this word originates and other's connotation's, I feel I've achieved a relatively good understanding. Webster claims the word to mean "based on slow careful consideration," but I feel there is much more to this word than that. How can a word our society uses so much have such a loose definition. Teacher's and parents refer to their children as mature or immature. But maybe one teacher's definition of...show more content... However can one express maturity at all times? Maybe someone's "best possible outcome" differs from another, who is then more mature? Again, maturity is driven from one's own connotation. This is why there is such confusion in adolescents and their push to become mature. In Joyce Carol Oates – Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been, there is a conflict with maturity. Connie, the stories main character, feels she is extremely mature, so she does stuff in her opinion mature people do. This leads to a stranger showing up on her doorstep asking her to come outside and drive away with him. The story says, "She could see then that he wasn't a kid, he was much older–thirty, maybe more. At this knowledge her heart began to pound faster." It concludes with Connie leaving with the man and our imaginations predicting the rest. This story helps to demonstrate the differences on the ideas of maturity. One hundred years ago, at the turn of the century, maturity was viewed much differently then now. Children were supposed to of been "seen not heard" and were considered mature by staying out of affairs. Now–a–days, society's stressing that everyone's opinion matters. Back in 2003, fourteen year old Brittany Bergquist and her brother twelve year old brother Robbie started a program known as Cell phones for Soldiers. The aim of this company is to donate a total of twelve million dollars in prepaid phone cards to the soldiers to call home via donations of old phones. We Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Maturity Definition Maturity: Honestly, I don't think I am as mature as I used to be, I know a mod needs to meet certain standards of maturity. I am working on accomplishing this and hopefully I will one day be mature enough to handle this. I am super crazy but when it comes to certain situations I can sit down and be mature about it, I'm sure its the same with the mods here. Confident: I am a very confident person, I have learned to deal with hate through out the past couple of weeks and I have learned to not let it get to me! Mods who can handle hate are usually the ones who last! Responsibility: I am very responsible when it comes to things like this, I don't forget to do a job when I need to do it, and I don't try to do anything wrong, mistakes happen and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Maturit Maturity I always show responsibility both in school and out of school. During school, I take rigorous AP and honors courses while being in sports, band, and taking trombone lessons. Despite having all these obligations I still manage to prioritize academics first, as I earned a 3.7 GPA last quarter. I view responsibility as putting school first and applying myself to all endeavors. Sometimes I would rather be with my friends than doing homework or studying. In such times I tell myself that school comes first and there will be plenty of time to hang out when the work is done. To me moral standards mean a lot of things. It means being honest, and judging people by their character, not by their differences. It means helping whoever needs it whenever you can, and being loyal to your friends. I try to uphold these values as much as I can. An example of my high moral standards is that I stayed loyal to my friend who came out as a lesbian. I also show morals on the soccer field, I don't get angry after a loss I look at it as room for improvement. I treat opponents with respect, even if they are disrespectful to me or my teammates....show more content... I demonstrate maturity whenever something goes wrong and stresses me out. A specific example is chemistry, which was difficult for me last year. I would always study as hard as I could, but never did as well on the test as I should have. Instead of giving up on studying I went to Ms. Wontor before and after school for help on the things that I didn't understand. I accepted the grades for what they were and always kept trying. • 11. Maturity Analysis Maturity: As a staff member, I would always be proper and not toxic. When helping players, I always make sure to talk politely and always address the player happily. Even if a player comes into Teamspeak screaming, I would make sure to keep my cool and not be enraged by the player. When a player in chat may talk trash about me, I would not talk back to them saying rude things, instead. Even though I may have been toxic on other servers, I still would show that I am able to help out any player in need and not be aggressive or rude towards them. Respect: This trait is most important for a staff member. If I become staff I will always listen and not talk back to higher tiered staff. I respect all people on the server and never will talk behind...show more content... This allows me to be able to provide evidence for the higher staff to see that it wasn't a false ban. If the player appeals, I would provide proof of them using the blacklisted modification that got them banned. Recording can also bring in more players as posting to YouTube can attract people that had no clue the server existed. Recording can also show that there is a community that trusts me and believes that I am doing my job correctly. Listening: If I become staff I would always hear out the player and give them the benefit of the doubt. If the player is being banned for a reason that they think is unfair, I would pull them into Teamspeak and listen to their story without interruption. If I do not interrupt the player, they are able to not waste time and allow me to do my job easily. Being able to listen allows me to navigate through all support rooms easily so that they aren't backed up with players. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Reflection About Maturity I consider myself very mature. As I am currently the age of 13, I know how to treat people with respect and how to deal with situations. When I was younger, I admit that I could be toxic from time to time. However, that was when I was l like 10 or 11, and I now know how to be mature and to ignore the people that disturb you in any way. If I were to be accepted, I will be mature when it comes to handling players. For instance, If I were to be getting yelled at by a player in teamspeak, I will be sure not to yell at them back, I would simple just tell them to stop and tell me their problem and I will handle it. I will also show my maturity by never arguing with players in game, forums, or teamspeak. As you can see, that is how I should be chosen as a staff member because of my maturity. Activity: As I said in the "How many hours can you be online everyday?" question, you can see that I could put a lot of hours into the server. Also, as I said summer is coming up very soon. This means that I could be way more active, as I would not have to go to school. I also would be able to stay up later everyday including the weekends, to insure all players are happy and satisfied during the late times if some staff members have to sleep. Those are the reasons why I should be chosen as a staff member because of my activity. Dedication and Effort. Dedication means to be committed to a task or purpose. The task in this case would be to help the players in any way possible. If I were to be accepted, I would put my dedication and effort into the server. As I said I am very active and would use my time online to assist the players in–need of help. I would also not just put dedication in game but, into the forums and teamspeak aswell. Meaning, I will move players that are in need of staff assistance. I will also be able to comment on anyone needing help on the forums, even simple things like how to claim your base, or direct them on how to make a ban appeal. It doesn't matter how simple or hard the task is, I will be sure to help a player as much as I can before moving them out of the support rooms or not responding to the forum thread. As from the following reasons from above, that is why I should be chosen as a staff member Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Maturity Research Paper Maturity : I'll be mature. When you're mature you become across as a more sensible person and it makes you professional. When you're moved in team speak you want to be able to just move the person into one channel not multiple channel i have that before and it doesn't make the staff look as experienced One more quality I can say I exceed in, is getting proof for every ban. This may be forgotten by other staff but this is extremely important in my opinion. i can always record . Now this may not seem that important but it is if someone comes into teamspeak and say that i false banned them then i can show the proof of them hacking / being disrespectful i can record with about 200 fps +.My channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXNeyNzzLaAAgi6EZgyj–Kw...show more content... It's important to be mature because it help shapes how you're looked upon. [+] Friendliness, through friendliness I've learned to be nice to players and treat them how I'd like to be treated. I can manage being nice and polite to anyone, and obey + respect what someone tells me. Communication: Communication is everything from how you type in chat to how you answer someone's question in teamspeak.I will always reply to members who need help because i know how fustrating it is when you ask for help and know one helps. • 14. When Does Maturity Come With Age? Maturity has been said to come with age and I agree. Most adults I have met have been more mature than me or any of my friends. Even in tv shows adults or anyone of the older demographic are people who are considered to be more mature. My parents are people I've come ask for help many times. They have been wrong but 9 out of 10 times they were right. It's been about all kinds of things, be it relationships or just life advice in general. Adults in tv shows also act much more mature compared to the kids or teens in said tv shows. Shows like Codename: Kids Next Door, maturity is portrayed as a bad thing so none of the kids are portrayed to be as evil as the adults. • 15. Maturity Essay A common piece of everybody's vocabulary today is a word used in various contexts with little understanding to comprehend what it really means. "Maturity", the stream of questions that come to our mind when we begin to ponder on the eight letter word is numerous. The most basic being, "What is maturity? How does one step up on the pedestal of maturity? And how do we measure maturity?" Einstein puts his perspective on maturity in an even more complicated manner, "I live in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity", this view point does paint us a picture of maturity, but leads us to a whole new world of mystification. Starting with the first question that comes to our mind, I tossed open a...show more content... Well, looking in that perspective how is emotional maturity different from physical maturity? Emotional maturity could be the "full growth and development" of a person's mind and conscience. Obvious enough, but the key is to figure out and understand the deeper meaning of emotional development. Unlike physical maturity, mental and emotional maturity is not easily defined. Emotions are unstable, volatile and hard to comprehend. Even though everybody views this subject matter in a different way, I will present you with some of the opinions or axioms that make the most sagacity. Firstly, development occurs through time.
