3. Film Scripting…
Write the script
Project Head hires a writer to prepare a script on the story he has in
mind.
Create a script breakdown
In this production stage, we will go through the entire script and pick
out everything – location, character, costume, sound effect, prop, vis
ual effect, extras – that's seen or heard in the film.
4. Legal & Budgeting…
FORM A COMPANY
To start with the new project production, we shall initiate with creating a new
Company, Open a bank account Deposit required funds, and start building o
ur Production Team.
MAKING THE BUDGET
At this stage, we create a budget for each activity as per the budget provide
d by the Producer. Here we look at the cost of every person or object going t
o be part of the project like Director, actor, post production team etc.
CREATE A PRODUCTION SCHEDULE
After hiring Line Producer, Shooting schedule like Location, shoots per day e
tc shall be decided as per the script.
Gather the Crew
Starting with hiring of director, assistant director, and production manager, r
est of the crew (like casting director, cinematographer, DOP, costume desig
ner, editor, gaffer, art director, Makeup head and production team) is also hir
ed at this stage.
5. CREATIVE PLANNING…
Planning of film creatives
Here the director starts the creative planning of the project. Discussi
on between Line Producer, Cinematographer and Director happens h
ere to figure the ways to adjust budget and take out the best producti
on.
Create A STORYBOARD
Storyboarding is when we (and our director, DOP, and creative team)
map out each scene in pictures. It's a way of being able to visualize t
he film before shooting starts. Which should mean that we make fewe
r mistakes – and save more money – later on.
Make a shot list
A shot list shall help in keeping track on the project. Before filming, it
will also helps directors to collect their thoughts and build a shooting
schedule
6. LOGISTICS…

Book the gear and locations
This is mostly done by department heads and your line producer or p
