Created in 2011, funded by ANR, fully operational in 2012

Main objectives:
Ò  Encourage and support new Maths-Industry collaborations specifically with SMEs
and increase the notoriety of the value of Mathematics for companies
Ò  Mobilize, motivate and (in)form academic researchers with respect to such
collaborations
Ò  Change image of Mathematics and raise public awareness, in particular for
(future) students
AMIES is a nationwide French Labex (Laboratoire d'Excellence) actually integrated in
Ò  The Idex project in Grenoble http://labex.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr (with 13 others)
Ò  The national network of maths Labex http://labex.math.cnrs.fr/ (with ~ 13 others)

Ò  Job adds: very appreciated and, by far, the most popular part of the website
Ò  Continuous education: Set-up a web service for training with « GdR Calcul » and
